• Lorraine (8/5): Cosy, quirky accommodation in beautiful setting. - Gloriously located with a short walk to two beautiful, sandy beaches. The plain outside, part of a garage behind a house, belies the bright, cosy, fully equipped interior. Comfy bed, everything needed to hand. Perfect for the single traveller. Hosts were very helpful and accessible. Bedroom spacious, but you do need to mind your head at the sides, and I'm small!
• Michael (10/5): Cosy home for nature lovers - The apartment is located in a separate building in the backyard of a bigger house close to the beach and the little pier at the end of a road that leads to the golf course and the ferry to nearby island. Once entered the little house, it's very nice and comfortable. Heating works very well and you will find what is needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with lots of tipps around what to do and where to eat. There is only big bed and a smaller one for a kid. There is some view to the water front, but not real sea view. All neat and well maintained by the owner. Save parking. SO easy to go to the beaches around. Lovely landscape. As many times, the light situation is not optimal. A reading light nearby the sofa would be helpful.

• Edward (9/5): The trip and stay were enjoyable throughout the five days, and at times, simply exhilarating. - Anchor's Away is self-catering, a split-level apartment facing Magheragallan Bay, on the shoreline. The views from the property are stunning, with a delightful interplay of sea, sky and land. There are well-stocked grocery stores within walking distance, a whisky distillery and, a short drive away, the splendid Glenveigh National Park. The apartment itself is cosy, well-appointed, and the hosts were kind enough to provide us with milk, juice and a selection of biscuits - very welcome on arrival. Guide books are available in the apartment. It's a long drive to Magheragallen, but the rewards in terms of accommodation, hospitality, and the sheer beauty of the landscape amply compensated the effort. The bedroom has sloping ceilings, which meant bending over to reach the second bed.
• Honi (9/5): Lovely self catered unit with 2 beds, one bedroom, private bath a one minute walk to a beach. - Host showed us how to use heating and appliances. House was comfy and quiet. Well stocked with kitchen ware. We could even do laundry but the wind was crazy for the clothesline.

• Paulina (10/5): Beautiful best place to go and relax little part of ireland that must be seen - When u drive in dosent look like much but the inside is decorated so cute the furniture everything so adorable its also right beside the beach and the views from just outside the window are incredible but even better on one of the little walks surrounding the beach and the areas showing u the seaside with a lovely sunset view Nothing

• Lkch (7/5): Apartment in garage warehouse, not a whole house! - The apartment was ok once inside. Listed as a house, this is an apartment inside the back of a garage/warehouse. To list as a whole house is very misleading and not true! We had to point out that the listing noted free wifi and then it was paid for, otherwise a message came up when we tried to connect that payment would have to be made to use it. Instructions on how to turn on the heat and hot water would be helpful.

• Miroslava (10/5): Ocean and mountain views heaven - Lovely cosy appartment very close to the beaches with great views at the mountains. Perfect for a couple or a small family. Does not look as awesome from the outside but once you are in all is good. The quality of the WiFi varied so if you need to work online it might not be sufficient.

• Annabelle (10/5): Couldn't be more perfect! - The location was ideal. Beautiful proximity to the beach, although we didn't get to spend time there as we were all over the county following the rally. The amenities were excellent and everything was kept in perfect condition. The hosts were fantastic and provided us with milk, orange juice, tea/coffee makings and homemade scones. Very much a home away from home. Absolutely nothing! It was perfect. I have no complaints at all and will happily be booking here again in the future.
• Frances (9/5): We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the sitting out area at the door, very private. Excellent location - Easy to access the coastal paths, right next to a little pier. Sunsets were spectacular. Our mobile phones did not work so we had no way of contacting the owners re. handover of keys!
• Constancev (10/5): Exceptional - The location is simply stunning. It was such a treat to be a hop skip and a jump from the clear water and golden sand! We got a flat tyre just before we got to the house, and Eamon was so lovely he sorted it out for us and then gave us a lend of their kayaks. The house was clean, had everything you needed, and we felt very warm welcomed.
• Maxine (7/5): Good place, which is close to the beach - Clean, cozy house, welcoming scones and snacks appreciated, flexible check-in (hostess had to wait for us because we’re had no reception and it took us longer than expected) Kitchen could be better equipped (no big pot, scissors, etc) 45 min away from Letterkenny No wifi for 2 nights, then we got the router without the log in details Long waiting time (2days) for a response, when we asked about the wifi
