- Debbie (9/5): - The unit is located around the corner from my sons home, so it's very convenient. The unit is lovely. It has modern amenities and a comfortable bed. The entry into the building had a lot of rubbish, which included disposable nappies outside the door of the unit at the end of the corridor.
- Haiming (1/5): - My boss was charged a $480 cleaning fee for his 3-night stay.
Initially, we booked accommodation for 2 nights (October 10 and 11) and were charged a $240 cleaning fee for that stay. On October 11, my boss asked me to extend the booking for one more night, so I contacted the property.
They instructed me to make the additional booking through Booking.com. I explained to the manager that extending the booking through the website would result in another $240 cleaning fee, and asked if they could extend it for us instead. They told me not to worry and assured me that they would refund the extra cleaning fee after we booked.
I confirmed this with them several times, and they repeated their assurance, saying:
“As discussed over the phone, you can extend your stay by just one more night, and we will refund the additional cleaning fee.”
After the one-night extension, they informed me that they would deduct part of the cleaning fee and that we would receive a refund of over $195. However, weeks have passed and no refund has been received.
I spoke with a Booking.com representative over the phone, who said there was no note or request from the property regarding a refund, so he was unable to process it. I then contacted the property again, and they told me to contact Booking.com once more, claiming they had “proof” that they requested the refund.
It has now been over a month, and still no refund has been processed. I contacted them again to ask if they could refund the money directly to us, since the payment (including the cleaning fee) was received by them. However, they have not responded.

Washing machine is in communal area and requires payment. No drier or places /washing line to dry. Unable to get to garden as door was locked. Hair dryer not provided Booking did not specify which apartment as there are four. layer of dust on plant. No bedside table Wobbly tap. Strong smell of coconut Difficult to get hold of “host” I disagree with their rating criteria that was emailed to me. They claimed ceo of booking.com approved. These are the ratings :

⭐ 9 Stars – Some issues during the stay, host was also unresponsive
⭐ 8 Stars – Major problems that impacted the stay

The apartment was cosy and clean.

Small maintenance issues, kitchen tap is not secured and wobbles, AC did not work as appears batteries in remote are dead.
Clothes storage lacking or selves could be provided in wardrobe cupboard.
