• Pipibank (10/5): - Lovely apartment with lots of space for 4 of us and 2 lovely bathrooms. Fantastic views of the town and harbour. Plenty of kitchenware, glasses etc. Tromso in the summer is gorgeous,. A bit of a steep hill from town but easily managed.

• Catherine (8/5): i loved the place also because you have a front row seat to see the northern lights from a the windows of the apartment - the location is great and you have a stunning view over the city and a great sea and mountain view. the place is very spacious (2 bed and 2 bathrooms), warm and cosy and decorated simple and beautifully (the two decorative stoves suit the place perfectly). the apartment is equipped with everything you need for your stay. you’re just a few minutes away from the town center and you have a bus station down the road where you can take the bus that goes to the airport. the house is made of wood, which is part of its charm and you can hear your neighbors leave the house, depending on how loud the stomp when going down the stairs but that’s a minor issue

Views are amazing and location is exceptional, you can walk around the center of Tromso very easily. We got to see some northern lights from the apartment at night over the city. Awesome! The sofa bed is really comfortable.
• Eloise (8/5): Lovely apartment. - Lovely apartment, warm and comfortable. Driveway very icy and dangerous - you really need crampons if you are attempting it in winter. We bought them but didn't have them for the first time we went up and down the driveway.
• Ashby (10/5): Wonderful, spacious and comfortable apartment with great hosts and fantastic views of the city. - The apartment was fantastic, very spacious and well appointed with everything that we (me, wife and two kids) needed for our stay. It was very warm with great heating and good bathrooms and showers. The hosts were super helpful before we arrived with instructions and answers to questions. When we struggled with access on first arrival, they were immediately on the phone and there in person to help and resolve the issue. The location was better than we thought, only a 12-15min walk to port. The best bit for me, was the views of Tromso, which were stunning, we spent a good deal of time just looking at the view. Nothing, everything was great.

• Jennie (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment was so lovely and perfect! I wish I could have stayed longer just to enjoy the views and comfortability! Nothing. You do have to walk uphill from town (or can take a taxi) but the walk is short and worth it for the views and space.

• Sarah (9/5): Brought my elderly parents to Tromso, to make some special memories. So glad we booked the apartment, the 10min walk to - Great location with the most amazing views - each window gives a different perspective; easy access to bus routes if you don’t have a car (or don’t want to walk the hills back). The apartment has character, is spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Nothing we didn’t ‘like’, but as mentioned in some other reviews, some bed-side lamps would be a good addition - I like to read before bed. Also, naybe toasters aren’t a Norwegian thing but one would have been handy for breakfast. Looks like there are still some parts of the apartment under renovation but they are closed off so doesn’t impact the rest of the apartment.

• Terri (10/5): Great views and location - highly recommended! - The views and the location, which was easy walking distance to town. And the free parking! Plus the host was very helpful when we left an item behind and needed to collect it later.
• Sean (9/5): Perfect place to stay for a weekend trip!! Awesome views - The location was right next to town which was very convenient! Also since its above town, you can get some pretty insane views. The kitchen is also very nice and they offer you all the silverwear and plates you need! Honestly not much to complain. If you do go when its winter there, make sure your bring the right shoes or ice spikes. Tromso has some pretty agressive hills and some places are covered in black ice which was pretty sketchy at some times since we were wearing sneakers.
