- Chloe (9/5): Beautiful, clean rooms, lovely owners and staff, and generous communal amenities. - The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The communal amenities were lovely, with great tea and coffee selections, and the table tennis was a fun touch! Most of all, the owners and staff were all incredibly friendly and generous with their time.
- Tim (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - We weren’t offered breakfast

- Ian ruth janice (9/5): Really enjoyed your facility - Unique set up
- Angela (9/5): Restful and pleasant. - Excellent for my friend with a disability, accessible bathroom. Group/shared area outside was a great space. Shared kettle and microwave a good use of resources. The manager was a lovely young woman, very understanding when I had booked incorrectly and turned up a week early! The kitchen facilities were a little smelly. I am sure people would take advantage of it by removing things like knives that actually cut.
- Stefani (8/5): - Cleanliness and the comfort
- Howard (8/5): -
- Anne (8/5): Great - Unique
- Richard (8/5): - Very convenient and comfortable room.

- Julie (10/5): We loved staying at the Red Emu Motel. - We liked the design of the motel with the communal area in the middle with each room having a front and back door to allow entry either way. We also liked the shared tables for meals. It was only a short walk to the local pub for dinner. The kitchen area was a bit untidy as I think some guests did not clean up after themselves very well. A stack of clean tea towels and hot water would have been nice too.
- Jo (10/5): -
- kim (10/5): Great place with a great feeling about it. - This was a clean, modern facility. For a country motel it was far more than I was expecting
- Mark (8/5): -
- Merv (4/5): -
- Miriam (9/5): Great stopover - Clean and modern Yea making facilities in the room would be nice
- Gemma (6/5): Clean pleasant stay just a bit loud with someone in the room next to you. - Clean and great overnight stay. Walls were so thin you could hear TV playing in the room next door. Also very loud when people arrived at 11pm.
- Brian (6/5): -
- Murray (9/5): A restful overnight stay after tracking down wild flowers. - Our unit was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The unique design of the central amenities area worked very well. Not much

- James (7/5): - Best alternative in a very small location, clean and tidy It was not a traditional motel as expected affected our response. E:g: No facilities e:g: tea making facilities in room. It’s a new approach, and common kitchen area was not clean/appealing.
- Morag (5/5): Convenient clean and comfortable - Clean and new facility. Well located. Comfortable bed. AC good water pressure and plenty of hot water Soundproofing was poor . We could hear the next door room’s tv very clearly- fortunately they turned it off about same time as we were going to bed . Would have preferred a kettle in the room and cups rather than coping with the messy kitchen and one kettle in the morning.
If other residents had been using the communal space at night it would have been very noisy.
The motel was difficult to find as we had no phone service and signage was poor.
No one to check us in and took 2 phone calls to reach anyone .
Friendly people once someone arrived
- Richard (8/5): I would recommend this property to short stay tourists & longer term workers from out of town. - Clean, spacious & centrally located. The common area for guests was well designed. Not applicable.
- Barry (10/5): -
- lorrainen (9/5): Convenient and comfortable - Availability NA
- Judy (9/5): Travellers dream - a modern outback motel with great character and welcoming owners and staff. - The Red Emu was opened last year and was designed by the owners for travellers. The units surround a covered kitchen, dining, lounge and games area, which is very inviting. The kitchen area is large, with BBQ, cookers, air fryer and microwave along with the sink, cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils. Very well thought out! The rooms are spacious and the bathroom was also, with lovely little extras to ensure a modern look. The room was spotless, with comfortable beds and lovely soft towels and nice toiletries. The owners were so friendly and Chloe who helps there is a friendly outback girl with interesting stories of how she manages life and employment in the outback. This is an outback travellers dream come true! Perenjori is a lovely little town and very welcoming. Of all the Wildflower Trail towns, this is the one I highly recommend and would stay again. Daphne’s Cafe had great coffee where the locals congregate and share friendly advice on the Trail and road conditions.
- Ann (9/5): Excellent for our needs - kitchen was well serviced. Room and bathroom tastefully decorated. Hard to find. Not really well signposted and doesn't look like a motel
- Bower (9/5): handy to pub -
- Leslie (10/5): -
- Tanya (8/5): - Clean and new, ability to cook in communal kitchen You can hear a lot of noise from other residents
- Colin (10/5): -
- Jeremy (10/5): 5 star accommodation in Perenjori. - Facilities and rooms were incredible and the staff were lovely. Absolutely great place!
My partner and mother in law are locals from Latham and they were blown away at the standard and presentation of the property.
- Flags (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly would stay there again if in the area
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (8/5): Highly recommend ! - Fantastic amenities, bedroom clean, smelled nice, shower facilities great with towels and good soap options NA
- Debra (8/5): Excellent budget-friendly option - The room was very clean. The building is in excellent condition and still looks new. Peaceful. Good location - walking distance to the pub and the new grocery shop which is being built. Nice shower, plus toiletries provided. Great off-road parking. The colour co-ordination of the accessories was noted. The staff were very accommodating of our arrival being later than planned. All the basics were covered, including TV, wifi and fridge in the room. If you want extras, there is a well-equipped shared area with dining tables, sofas, BBQs and games. Great value for money for this type of accommodation.
- Debbie (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): Comfortable - Friendly staff lovely rooms and set up
- Stephen (10/5): Very pleasant - Didn’t have breakfast only a cup of coffee and hit the road Couldn’t fault

- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sage (10/5): Very Memorable - Only had coffee, owner took us to care in his 1925 Buick.
It is a location only 2 blocks from the pub. Great food and people there also. Really nothing to say negative about our stay. Even have washer and dryer for your use.
- Reigan (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Great motel, staff lovely, place clean and beds comfy
- Stephen (10/5): A very pleasant surprise. - The Red Emu Motel is exceptional, great layout, very clean and easy walk to the Hotel. Nothing.
- Margaret (10/5): We are very happy that we chose to stay at the Red Emu Motel. - Super clean. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing
- Gemma (9/5): Superb -

- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (10/5): Very practical and easy facilities - Perfect location; practical uncluttered room; great bathroom and comfortable bed
- Linda (8/5): The stay was great. The other people staying there were friendly. - The Red Emu was lay-back which is good when on holidays. The room and beds were great. Interesting concept like a camp kitchen area. Everything worked out very well. I didn't find anything to dislike
- Judith (10/5): A welcoming and well appointed place to stay in a lovely country town. - Very friendly staff. New, fresh and clean. Well equipped in room and in generously sized ensuite. Communal area is excellent with cooking, dining and social facilities.
Great value for money - would highly recommend. Can’t think of anything
- Steven (9/5): Most enjoyable - Great advice from the staff as to where to see wildflowers . Easy, comfortable, clean facilities. For the price, excellent value
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Carleen (9/5): Great place for stop over , - Friendly staff in reception. Very clean . Well appointed communal area. Perhaps a kettle in room so you don’t have to wander out into communal area ,
- Jenny (10/5): We felt welcome and safe thank you. Great place. - Quiet location but close to the hotel where they do great meals. Very comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Lots of added extras. Thank you.
- Robyn (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): A very pleasant experience and knowledgable owner about the town and best wildflower locations - We’ll clear of main road
Easy walk to pub with great meals
Well planned and decorated units and kitchen area
Easy parking close to unit Nil
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Audrey (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (9/5): very pleasant and would recommend. - New facility with great feel - like a cross between a motel and a campsite (shared kitchen and common room) great advice about the wildflowers in the district (the reason for our visit) It met our expectations.
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Roger (10/5): Best value accomodation within 100km of the area - Basic accomodation but everything was new clean and tidy. All rooms have a second door that leads to a communal camp kitchen where you can make anything from a cup of tea to a full meal. Walls between rooms are thin so the possibility of noisy neighbours could be a distraction
- Ashish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (9/5): We only stayed for the night but the room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed. - The rooms were very clean and spacious, they are only a few weeks old so still need a bit of decorating. The common area looks to be coming along too and that’s where my friend and I sat to eat dinner together. There was nothing I didn’t like though it will be better once fully finished.
- Gerald (7/5): Recommended and will be great as it gets established. - Only been opened a month and owners getting up to speed
- Coralie (8/5): New place will be a great place for people too stop - Very clean and the staff are excellent and the shower was hot bed comfortable Nothing
- Frank (9/5): Superb - Very new, very clean, very friendly. Perfect for our needs.
- Wigwam55 (8/5): Great accommodation and host, well located for mid west wildflower experience. - The Red Emu in Perenjori was a great location for our mid west wildflower hunt. The accommodation is new and clean. The bed was very comfortable and shower hot. Host Jenna was great to deal with. A full range of private cooking facilities is available in the common area, but if you don't want to self cater, the Perenjori Hotel serve meals 7 days a week and is only a short walk away.
