Guest Reviews
- Robert (10/5): Fabulous base to explore from - Large spacious property yet had a homely feel. We were lucky that the trees in the street were all in blossom Would of been nice to have had some garden seating to enjoy the unexpected sunshine as the small back garden seemed to be a sun trap
- Beverly (10/5): Beautiful house - perfect location - It’s a beautiful house with lots of space and very well kept. It had a very homely feel and everything was spotless. The location was within walking distance to the town centre and the beach. It’s situated in a quiet and peaceful leafy street and it was perfect for my family who was visiting Ayr for my sister’s wedding. Nothing

- Rosemary (10/5): Had a great time, and would highly recommend this property. - The property was very well equipped with excellent decor. It was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It is in a quiet street very close to the centre of Ayr. Provision of a hairdryer would be helpful
- Mark (10/5): Just what we were looking-for - Great space no issues at all.
- Alison (10/5): Great house for a family getogether. Close to town centre but very quiet. - Warm house. Very comfortable, especially the beds. Very well equipped. Great location. Nothing!
- Evan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gordon (10/5): Beautiful house. Lots of space for us. Good location - Spacious. Comfortable. Clean. Enough showers bathrooms. Lots of room for sitting eating together WiFi bit slow
- Stefan (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (7/5): enjoyable, comfortable family holiday - Plenty of room in each of the rooms, plenty appliances and nice location Only one parking permit, beds were too warm at night despite weather being warm rather than hot and only a small rear garden for kids to play in
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Well appointed property in a good location. Nothing really.
- Andy (8/5): Lovely large period property. - Spacious, clean, and central. Parking was nearly impossible for a large car at the rear of the house, and permit parking on the street was hard after 4pm.
- Louise (10/5): Excellent stay - Spacious , comfortable with everything we needed . Good for transportation to the British open
- April (8/5): Lovely house, but stay at your own risk - This was a beautiful house in a great location. Extremely clean and spacious, comfortable beds, nice size rooms. The decor was lovely and done to a high standard. I’d say this is probably the nicest place we’ve ever stayed in our travels. I had to take off a couple of stars for the management company. After we left, we got a phone call accusing us of having had a pet in the house because the cleaners found some pet toy in one of the rooms. (We did not). Furthermore, they claimed we broke a glass, when we did no such thing. I suspect that the cleaners broke it and pinned it on us. I had to pay £32 for a single broken glass.
I will say that they were understanding enough when I did accidentally forget to leave the parking pass when we departed. However, the unfounded accusations about the pet and the glass really left a bad taste in our mouth.
- Simon (10/5): Beautiful house with everything you need, be back again next year if we can. - House was huge, plenty of bathrooms, and the house was filled with everything needed for daily use; cooking oil, sauces, utensils.
Quality filled house, from the couch to the bed sheets, very high end which made the stay so much more comfortable.
Lovely little back garden, nice sun trap with enough parking for 2 cars.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Brilliant, everyone loved it so much we will be back - The property was spotless, in a great location
I thought there was only 1 shower room and there was 3 which was a great surprise
Lots of room for 8 of us, soundproof rooms .
Will return for another break
Thanks
- Evelyn (9/5): Comfortable, warm and welcoming. - Lovely, old house with lots of space. Warm and comfortable, with every device required for any eventuality. Parking for two cars was a bit awkward, with only one parking permit and parking at back of house difficult to negotiate with a largish car.
- Hazel (9/5): Perfect getaway for a break - Very comfortable, lovely house,
Everything you could want, plenty of dishes etc
Bonus having a parking permit.
Lovely furnishings and decor, very tastefully presented. It would have been handy to have a chair in each bedroom for drying hair and make up.
A minor point , being 4 ladies of mature age.
- Allison (10/5): Winner winner - The house was beautiful and spacious no waiting about on using the bathroom as there were 3! Everything was there dishwasher etc.the beds were super comfty .overall we had a brillant stay at the old manse would def book again.i also appreciated the late check out as my coach wasnt until 1.15pm.
- John (9/5): Superb -
