• Fabrice (10/5): Exceptionnel ! - Voyage à 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Logement idéal. La localisation à l’ouest de l’île est idéale et offre du calme. Située en hauteur, la vue est juste magique. La piscine, chauffée toute l’année, est parfaite. La propreté du logement est irréprochable, absolument rien à dire, on a l’impression que tout est neuf. Tout est très bien équipé, la literie est très confortable, plusieurs oreillers sont proposés… de loin le meilleur appartement que nous ayons loué. Et que dire des hôtes : d’une grande générosité, extrêmement disponible et attachants. Nous recommandons à 200% ! Tout était parfait !
• Jiří (10/5): - Sergio and Sandra are simply wonderful. You will receive all the arrival instructions and equipment in advance. When you arrive at the accommodation, the owner will welcome you and show you the entire property, including the pool, and will introduce you to how everything works, from the locks to all the technology in the apartment. You will receive all the information about the area and trips. Sergio will be there to help you throughout your stay. What's more, they have a beautiful black and white cat that sits on the garden wall every evening.

• Els (10/5): Een fantastisch verblijf bij Casa Mar Azul waar werkelijk alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd was. - Onze ervaring bij Casa Mar Azul was er één om nooit te vergeten – hier passen eigenlijk alleen maar superlatieven. Alles was werkelijk tiptop in orde, precies zoals ook in de andere reviews wordt beschreven. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons welkom. Door vertraging met het vliegtuig kwamen we pas na middernacht aan, maar ondanks dit stond Sergio ons gewoon op te wachten. Hij nam uitgebreid de tijd om ons alles uit te leggen over het huisje, wat we enorm hebben gewaardeerd. Bij aankomst stond er bovendien een flesje Madeirawijn klaar, samen met nog wat lekkers – zo’n warm en attent gebaar maakt je verblijf meteen extra speciaal. Sergio en Sandra zijn echte superhosts: altijd vriendelijk, altijd bereikbaar en altijd bereid om te helpen. Geen vraag was te veel. Het appartement zelf was piekfijn in orde. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, en alles is met zorg en oog voor detail ingericht. Je merkt aan alles dat hier met liefde wordt gewerkt. Kortom: alleen maar lof. Dit is een absolute aanrader! 🌟 Helemaal niets – ons verblijf bij Casa Mar Azul was in alle opzichten perfect.
• Markus (10/5): Absolutely perfect - Absolutely perfect stay. Hosts were super helpful and friendly, accommodation was spacious and clean, location was great and everything worked smoothly from check-in to check-out. 10/10 experience, simply nothing negative to say about the accommodation.
• Maaike (10/5): Uitstekend verzorgd appartement met prachtig uitzicht - Het klinkt bijna te mooi om waar te zijn, maar deze eigenaren hebben met dit appartement echt een 10 verdiend! Het appartement is zeer schoon, heeft een uitzicht dat nooit verveelt, een heerlijk zwembad met waterspeelgoed/floaties en in het appartment is alles aanwezig qua kookgerei, wasmachine, badjassen etc. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam met tips voor het bezoeken van het eiland en services om je te helpen waar nodig. Het appartement ligt ook gunstig om het eiland te verkennen. -

Super eingerichtete Wohnung mit Traumausblick. - Sergio ist der hilfsbereiteste, proaktiv helfende, lösungsorientierteste und auch freundlichste Vermieter den man sich vorstellen kann und das auf eine ganz unaufdringliche Art.Die Familie von Sergio lebt im Untergeschoss. Somit sind sie bei Problemen sofort vor Ort aber sonst merkt man gar nicht, dass sie da sind. Sandra ist genauso freundlich und die gute Seele/Köchin im Hintergrund. Die Wohnung ist , wie schon von vielen anderen geschrieben wunderschön. Der Ausblick ist der Wahnsinn. Man ist innerhalb von einer halben Stunde in Funchal. Was will man mehr? Es fehlt lediglich (noch) ein Geschirrspüler aber der wird laut Sergio demnächst eingebaut. Ansonsten ist der Haushalt wirklich perfekt ausgestattet.

Why this is the ultimate choice for families: • Exceptional Hosts: Sergio and Sandra are the heart of this property. Their kindness is inspiring. From the famous warm orange cake, "welcome wine" and local treats, we felt like honored guests from the very first minute. They provided a "gold mine" of recommendations for family-friendly hikes, restaurants, and parking tips. • The "Everything" Apartment: This isn't just a standard rental; it’s equipped with more than you could ever need. For a family, the details were life-saving: lunch boxes for our mountain picnics, shopping bags, and a mountain of towels. The kitchen is fully stocked, the house is spotless, and the interior is modern and very comfortable. • A Private Paradise: The view of the ocean and the sunsets from the balcony is like having your own private miradouro. The heated pool was the highlight for our kids perfect for a swim even after a long day of exploring. Having bathrobes and dedicated pool towels provided for everyone made our logistics so much easier. • Perfect Location: The neighborhood is peaceful and safe. You are just a 10, 20-minute drive from both the beach and the mountains, making it an ideal base for exploring every corner of Madeira. • Hotel Quality, Home Feel: The quality of the house, the linens, and the thoughtful layout (like the practical shelves in the bathroom) feel like a 5-star hotel, but the atmosphere is 100% warm and cozy. If you want to experience the highest level of hospitality on the island, choose Casa Mar Azul. Sergio and Sandra, thank you for making our family vacation so magical. Our holiday was too short! It was heartbreaking to leave.

• Torsten (10/5): Wundervoller Aufenthalt - Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt. Wir haben die Zeit in der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung und der Außenbereich sind modern gestaltet und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es gab alles was wir brauchten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hatten immer gute Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Bei Ankunft wurden wir mit leckeren Spezialitäten aus Madeira verwöhnt und auch für Getränke war gesorgt. Der selbstgebackene Orangenkuchen von Sandra war vorzüglich. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um dieverse Ausflüge und Wanderungen zu machen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
