Claire (9/5): Majestic apartment, warm welcome by hosts - - Excellent communication and responsiveness of the host: they truly do everything to ensure that guests have the best possible stay experience, providing all the necessary stuff and advises; - We were met and welcomed by the host in the inner court immediately after we called to announce our arrival; - Apartment was very clean and furnished / fully equipped with care and attention to detail; - Food condiments, water and coffee/tea preparation facilities provided, as well as shower gel and liquid soap with very agreeable fragrance; - Can use washing machine, microwave and dishwasher; - Almost blind stores present in all rooms, high ceilings, dining room; - Window frames are modern and reduce considerably the outside noise, but as it can be seen on the map, this quarter is surrounded by railways, so if you have a light sleep and wish to enjoy it in the early morning or late evening, might consider bringing good earplugs (trains/trams pass by from approximately 5am to 12am). - Convenient geographical location: 4 bus stops away from the P.za Vittorio Emanuele metro A station, which provides to all main Rome's attractions including Vatican; 10 minutes bus ride to Termini station as well, 2 buses available with stops just in front of the passage to the inner court where the apartment is situated (14 and 5). I found mattresses quite hard. Some people like it, but too firm for my part. An electric kettle and a water filter would be great to have hot drinking water free from limescale.
