- Anderson (10/5): Our stay was excellent and having a restaurant and bar behind the inn was a plus. - Clean, quiet and cozy. Flying Insects/ bugs enter you roof when door is opened at night.
- James (8/5): Clean, quiet and well kept property. Would book again. -
- Alfonso (10/5): The staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. - It was very close to the race venue and very comfortable. No complaints, it was all amazing.
- Michael (9/5): The Clearwater Inn and Tavern is a clean, comfortable, quiet and well run establishment. - Breakfast was very basic mostly prepackaged offerings but since i'm a yogurt person it was fine. Good coffee/tea selection in a comfortable area. The Tavern was excellent as usual and staff was great. The room we stayed at had apparently new Mini-splits which was a welcome upgrade from our previous visits.

- Vohnoutka (8/5): Loved it! Convenient, clean, great property, great tavern, great people and vibes - Proximity to mountain, great tavern out back, clean, nice breakfast, outdoor space looks great for summer fun The heat was challenging to get to a comfortable temp. On the second floor it was super hot even if you turned the heat off so you had to open a window then woke up cold, closed it, rinse and repeat. Pretty common in mountain lodging though.
The shower also made an odd wailing sound, the temp fluctuated so you had to keep moving the handle frequently to keep it comfortable, and sometimes the water just stopped (maybe someone else showering nearby?).
- John (9/5): - The restaurant was closed so we can not comment on that. We really enjoyed our stay at the clear. The bathroom was small with no counter space.
- Ana (9/5): - Habitación amplia y limpia.
Buenas instalaciones
Personal muy agradable El desayuno. Para salir del paso
- Michael (7/5): - great place , not open restaurant mon and tue location
- Henry (8/5): Great unit and location but the beds. - Location, cleanliness , breakfast room and the tavern out the back. The beds. So small and much too soft. We had to use both beds as one couple could not fit comfortably on one bed. Kept rolling into each other which is ok if you are 23 but not when in your late 60’s 😂😄
- Emma (10/5): Great stay - Easy contactless check in. Nice breakfast. Clean and modern room. Excellent tavern with food next door. Really enjoyed our stay. Nothing.
- David (10/5): Beautiful rooms, great facilities and legendary service! Highly recommended. - What a great place and amazingly good value for money! The rooms were large, well appointed and clearly newly refurbished with delightful modern furnishings and all the facilities we could ask for including bedside table top electrical sockets and USB ports. Everything was spotless and smart.
The "Breakfast Nook" very much exceeded our expectations - a very well stocked self service area with seating and everything for a hearty breakfast. Coffee, tea, juices, cereals, pastries, muffins, fruit, bread, snack bars and much more. They even had a freezer with bacon and sausage muffins, toasties and so on and a microwave to reheat them.
But the standout feature of the hotel without doubt was Fiona on reception.
She was an absolute delight, so welcoming and informative and helpful and when she realised we were expecting to dine there she came up with a bunch of recommendations in Killington and then astonishingly drove us down there and picked us up later on. I'm sure that might not always be possible, it was a quiet night at the hotel, so please don't go expecting it! But we were so grateful for her incredible thoughtfulness and generosity, which stands out as one of the memorable moments of a truly memorable 16 day road trip. Fiona is a superstar of the hospitality industry. We booked this hotel primarily because a) it was where we roughly needed to end up that day on our roadtrip and b) it had a lovely looking tavern/restaurant on site. When we got there the tavern was closed. It's closed every Mon/Tue and this is perfectly clear on the inn's own website BUT it's not clear on the booking.com page (or at least it wasn't clear to me).
However, the amazing Fiona rescued the situation (see positives above) and we had a very enjoyable evening in Killington a few miles down the road.

- Dina (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft!
- Edoardo (9/5): - Posizione, pulizia e colazione Poco insonorizzata
- KEE WON (10/5): - 깨끗하고 정리 잘된 방에 훌륭한 아침식사! 가격 대비 정말 최고였어요! 없습니다!
- gavin he (9/5): - Very clean, good breakfast! No
- liz (10/5): - New facility, clean, modern comfy, good continental breakfast option. Iron and hairdryer available. Had to drive 5 miles to dinner because the next door tavern was closed the two days we were there.
- Susan (9/5): Comfortable stay on RT 100 - Our reservation has a glitch but the staff member responded quickly to my email/text and was able to adjust it based in o a ur schedule and accommodate us. Very efficient! Nice little inn in a very quiet location, a nice restaurant as well.

La grande taille de la chambre

- William (9/5): A hotel with character. Comfortable, clean, and well managed. - A terrific hotel that offers excellent facilities, very clean comfortable rooms and a good on-site restaurant. No big deal but it’s in a pretty rural location. There are no facilities or services you can walk to.
- Ian (7/5): Pretty good. - Spacious clean, comfortable. Staff very accommodating. No phone service and wifi was on & off. TV was overly complicated with multiple steps to turn it on and no instructions
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Philippe (9/5): Great little Gem for motorcycle enthusiasts. - Fiona! She was very kind and helpful.
The room was clean and modern. Comfortable. It’s basic but a great basic. Just very sorry I missed the Tavern. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Jodi (10/5): -
- David (10/5): Good value - good location - Self serve breakfast was nice. Baked goods were very fresh! Staff/owner was very friendly and accommodating.
- Judith (9/5): Nice, clean, friendly motel. - Check-in was very easy. Keyless was very convenient. Reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast had gluten free and dairy free options. Lots of nice choices. Minisplit in room worked quietly and efficiently. This is a motel, not a new chain hotel. But it was clear that lots of effort went into making it comfortable. Restaurant behind the motel was pleasant and the food was very good.
- Lyndsey (9/5): True Hidden Gem - The staff was so helpful and accommodating. They offered to let us check in early after our long drive. Any issues we had they were quick to fix. The room was clean, and had cute personal touches like a rubber duck on the hand soap in the bathroom. The room was very private, but also easy for us to access. Breakfast was fantastic every day.
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): Superb - The breakfast nook was so cute!
The room was clean and comfortable.
- J (10/5): great ski weekend, thanks! - great
- Alison (9/5): Looking forward to come back again - 4th time staying here and for good reason. Clean comfortable and well appointed rooms, great breakfast nook, easy check in, friendly staff, and the bonus of the onsite tavern. Easy reach of Killington. Nothing
- Arman (9/5): The location was great; the room meets expectations. Simple check-in and check-out process. - The location was great; the room met our expectations. Simple check-in and check-out process. The shower made a whistling sound. For $200+/night, I wish there was free laundry. Also, there was no detergent. A paid option would be great at the minimum.
- Scott (10/5): This will be my designated stay when snowboarding! - Property was in a perfect location. Short drive to the mountain. Super clean room. Restaurant behind the property was even better! Food was excellent!
- Curt (9/5): Superb -

- Briana (10/5): It was cute. It was clean. Owner was friendly great location. - We loved this place when we came through for Valentine day weekend . It’s 15 mins from the mountain , clean and quaint . The woman who runs it was very accommodatable and friendly and even decorated our space with some “love decor” like rose pedals and chocolate. We will stay here again. The tavern in the back is an added bonus.
- Lev (8/5): We enjoyed our stay. - Good location, we got to the ski lodge in a reasonable time. Restaurant, markets nearby.
Room - good. Fitted bed sheets don't quite fit, otherwise good beds and pillows.
Breakfast is ok, a good variety of frozen sandwiches, bars, yoghurt, etc. But, frozen sandwiches...
Good internet connection after the initial constantly dropping connection problem was fixed.
Very helpful and responsive staff. The walls are quite thin. Breakfast can be improved (fresh fruit).
- Xiongbin (9/5): Superb -
- Austin (10/5): Clean, comfortable, great food and staff. - Buffy and the staff were fantastic, friendly and the food is outstanding. Room very clean and beds were very comfortable. I have been telling friends from Rochester ny what a great spot you have. Thursday night I'm at the bar and one of my high school buddies and his family show up. I had no idea he was coming up to Vermont. Had a great time will be back again. Prime rib special is on Friday, wish it was on Thursday and Friday. You also ran out of T shirts , maybe next time I'm there you will have them back in stick. I tried to buy the T shirt Buffy had on.
- Yimeng (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tara (8/5): A nice property close to Killington. Electronic check-in is a dream. - Ease of check-in. Nice clean, modern rooms. Nothing comes to mind.
- Jamie (9/5): We had a wonderful stay. We loved the Kelley’s entry and the breakfast nook. The in room keurig co - The breakfast was excellent. There were many choices for everyone.
- Lovenduski (10/5): Exceptional - The location was a perfect distance from killington ski mountain. And it was really nice to have a tavern with great food right out back.
- Sage69 (8/5): Nice, as advertised. - Nice friendly place. Roomy enough and pet and family friendly. Not fancy but had everything you would want or need. Bathroom is adequate as is the small kitchen. (small tub - bring you own stopper). 3 Televisions (One for each room), but only the one in the main room worked. There was a problem with the Inernet service, and I hope they have that under control now.
- Rose (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dorota (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xuanyu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corinne (9/5): Superb - in the middle of nowhere but with a restaurant under the motel - so it was very very convenient. The motel had everything and more and the breakfast was great!
- Raimonda (9/5): Fiona, who manages the property was very helpful and went out of her way to make necessary arrangements. - The property was clean, comfortable and well maintained.
- Zhao (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stacey (9/5): Superb -
- Baker (10/5): I had a great stay here, my friends and I attended the Halloween party at the attached tavern which I also loved! I’ll b - It was very clean smelling and looking. The beds were comfortable, the showers were clean and had soaps and hair wash, fresh towels, there was a little telephone booth with extra towels, toiletries, hair dryers, etc, and the continental breakfast in the breakfast nook was so cute and thoughtfully done! Not a thing!
- Diane (9/5): A clean and comfortable motel with good facilities. - The meal options at the adjoining restaurant were really tasty and we were grateful that we were there on a day that the restaurant operated. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and we were told there were no other eating opportunities in the area on those days. Something to be aware of when booking I would say. The property also had a laundromat which was a real boon as we were half way through our road trip and getting our clothes washed was really helpful. The property even provided washing powder for the coin operated machines another great boon. The staff were really helpful.
- Arun (9/5): Superb -
- Beverly (9/5): I would recommend it to anyone travels g that way - It was clean and comfortable the staff were very friendly and very helpful at all times the little laundry was a bonus for anyone on a long road trip. The restaurant behind the hotel was very good value and very friendly The restaurant was only open Wednesday to Sunday
- Huai (6/5): Pleasant -
- Elaine (10/5): It had an actual kettle - nothing more to say! - The Tavern was excellent, the breakfast had an actual kettle which is very important for a good cup of tea and the telephone box for odds and sods was a great touch. The main road was a little noisy
- Veronica (10/5): Great place to stay! - How clean and spacious the room and bathrooms were, and comfy bed! N/A
- Meredith (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Great location on a road trip through the Green mountains or Vermont. Breakfast was limited. Tavern at rear of hotel is closed Monday to Wednesday.
The desk was lightly staffed.
WiFi was terrible and kept cutting out even though our room was close to the office.
- Nicola (3/5): Poor - We are gluten free. There was very limited choice. There was no one on reception. The reception was closed. When someone did show up they were more interested in their phone than us. Most importantly we selected this because it had an on site restaurant which turned out to be closed. VERY FRUSTRATING after a long drive.
- Sue (10/5): We loved it! - It was the most adorable place for us. Beautiful location! Wish we had the time to stay longer! Fiona was the best and you can tell she's worked hard at making it very charming. They have a great bar/restaurant, the bartender Kyle was great. Food was very good! It was a great find and very perfect for us! Can't really think of anything.
- Wenmin (9/5): Superb -
- Yi (8/5): Very good - Location is great. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Small size bathroom sink due to limited bathroom dimensions.
- Tatiana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jovana (10/5): We had an amazing time and the staff was wonderful! - The room was very nice and clean, the staff was awesome, and the breakfast was reasonable for the cost. We liked the microwaveable sandwiches and we made some peanut-jelly bagels. They also had granola bars and fresh muffins for the road. :)
We travelled with our 2 year-old border collie and she had the best time - they even had dog treats in the "phone booth" close to our room.
The field in the back was amazing and we let our dog run and walked along the ravine quite a bit in the early morning.
Looking forward to coming back one day :)
- Cunningham (9/5): Superb -
- Desiree (10/5): Beautiful location! - It was in a beautiful location, and literally a few miles from everything you need, quick stop stores, grocery stores, trails etc. Nothing, it was perfect for our night getaway!
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Our favourite stop on a tour of New. England. Lovely, smart and clean Inn with comfortable beds and lots of toiletries, soft towels and bed linen. Very friendly and welcoming staff and the breakfast was great - lots of choice. We are at the tavern round the back - super setting, beer and food. The owner and staff were brilliant. Would definitely go back there. Nothing.
- Steven (9/5): Like the Clear for location, Comfort, comfortable & the Tavern located on premises. - Breakfast was good. I like it included in the price.
- Edward (9/5): Superb -
