• Luís (10/5): - Adorámos a hospitalidade do sr Júlio, o proprietário. Sempre atencioso e disponível. O alojamento está equipado com todo o tipo de comodidades e equipamentos e fica a 1 minuto da praia. Recomendamos vivamente. Não temos nada a apontar.

• Vertebra (10/5): Spacious, spotless, and serene stay - The apartment was impressively spacious and sparkling clean, with thoughtful attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable, and we even found some food prepared for us upon arrival — a lovely touch. The host was extremely responsive and kindly allowed us to check in earlier than planned, which made our arrival much smoother. Overall, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a truly comfortable stay. The nearby beach is not the most spectacular one, and the view from the balcony faces some construction. However, this was shown in the photos, so it wasn’t a surprise. In any case, you can still hear the soothing sound of the ocean waves, which balances it out.
• Kennington (7/5): A nice apartment but shame no real sea view and expensive! - We enjoyed the apartment a lot. Lots of space and lots of facilities. We were relaxing there a lot so valued the space, very comfortable sofas and good dining table and the tv was good, logged on to Netflix etc. The only thing I would say is the description clearly mentions ‘sea views’. In the 180° panoramic from the balcony, It is a very ‘partial’ view of the sea (10° of the panoramic). Essentially the balcony looks out on to a building site, not too noisy but it is a shame because it leaves the apartment without any real ambience of a coastal apartment. The owners left us a small pot of home made plum jam and I have to say it was delicious! Always difficult to make complaints when the hosts are such nice people, but it is a business and we are the customers! Very expensive at £125 a night or 144 Euros! This apartment would have been half this price just 5 years ago, but hey the wheels of capitalism! I did let the owners know that the temperature for the shower and the kitchen hot water taps when turned up was very high/almost scolding! When you turn it down in the shower, it went to warm or cold there was no in-between. I did open the boiler cupboard and tried to turn the temperature down, but it looks like the gauge it’s not working. With the income made from Booking.com I think it’s reasonable for the owner to fix these things rather than let people put up with such difficulties (they must know it is faluty); it wasn’t that comfortable when it was scolding hot! We had to buy bin liners and extra toilet rolls which considering £125 a night was not really on.

• Nathalie (10/5): - Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'accueil chaleureux et empressé du propriétaire et de ses enfants. L'appartement est très joli, impeccablement propre et très bien équipé. La situation à 3 mn à pied des plages est super, avec de nombreuses possibilités de restaurants à proximité. Nous recommandons !

• Mona (10/5): Exceptional - A great place very close to the beach. There's good food around and the historic center of Vila do Conde is in walking distance. The apartment has everything one needs and is very comfortable.

• Anna (10/5): Brilliant! - The flat is very well equipped and is exactly as described / pictured. It has everything from kitchenware to beach towels, umbrellas etc. West-facing terrasse is a bonus. There are two beaches (one small, one medium-sized) just across the road, we loved them. Cafes, restaurants, shops in the near proximity and the villages of Varzim and Vila do Conde (with more restaurants and historic sights) a pleasant 15-30min walk along the coast. The host is extremely nice and accommodating. He thought of all the details and is always easy to reach for any question. Thank you - we’ll be back.

• Tolu (9/5): Look no further. This is the one. - Perfect location for a relaxing time away. I worked remotely while also needing to decompress and it was just the perfect spot. Not touristy at all. It's not a place for you if you need your Starbucks, Shopping mall etc... But if you want everything you need and yet be in stress-free place to recover from the pressures it's spot on. Oh and you must have breakfast/ lunch at As Marias Brunch & Cakes... You just absolutely must. Bars, restaurants etc. Around.
