Who doesn't want a cuppa in the morning? Having a kettle to make a drink would make the stay more pleasant. Also a couple of decent pillows would have been nice. The pillows provided definitely need replacing. Pillows and kettle from Argos. £30 altogether. Job done. Didn't use the shower. Didn't look very inviting. Grubby shower curtain. Need a new one. They are cheap as chips to buy and just improve the overall appearance of a shower.

• Karolina (10/5): Very climatic place - Very interesting place, close to electric ballroom and in the end of camden so ideal place if you are around there It was hard to find the gate/location, the gps does not show it fully and especially at night finding it is a tiny bit tricky id say, but overall it was alright dont really have negatives to say about it

• Paul (2/5): Airless, shabby and uncomfortable. Not as pictured. - Very convenient for Camden Not the room pictured. Window could not be opened and radiator on constantly meaning too hot to sleep. Toilet difficult to use as sited so close to basin. Basin had no plug and plug hole had a large amount of hair in it. Shabby and dirty, the ‘quirky decor’ seemed to be mostly carrier bags stuck to the wall. Bed uncomfortable. Weird and dubious electrical wiring Yapping dog in next room, noisy machinery outside. I didn’t sleep a wink.

• bamboolemur (4/5): Cyber creepy - Awesome location. Quirky and unique decor. Shower had high pressure and hot water. Useful amenities (mini fridge/freezer, washing machine) but I didn't check if they work. I spent one night here with no serious problems. Odd smell. Dead plants. Not very clean-- dust and dirt on floors, windowsills, art. Ants in the bathroom. Mattress felt worn, thin, squishy soft, and not very comfortable. Shower would get way too hot if you bumped the handle. Small room with small window, not comfortable to spend time in. No check-in instructions were sent, so I knocked and poked around and finally found the way in. The phone number is disconnected. Obviously the cyber punk art is a selling point, but the two robot mannequins leering over the bed were creepy. The walls are covered with art junk but also straight up trash-- disposable shopping bags, post it notes, old menus, UFO manifestos. The entrance didn't make me feel very safe, as there is no reception person or lock at the main door, and the room key boxes have a code that doesn't change between customers.

• Helber (5/5): Habitacion un 10, el baño un CERO - La ubicación es perfecta y la habitación está genial. El baño es asqueroso, el desagüe de la ducha está fatal, el agua se acumula al lado del vater y se nota claramente la suciedad de huéspedes anteriores. El agua se queda encharcada en un tipo de alfombra que conecta el plato de ducha con el inodoro. Es impracticable ducharse allí descalzo. Con el precio que cobran ya deberían arreglar eso URGENTEMENTE.

• B (5/5): Location, location, location! - The location of this studio is amazing! Minutes from the Markets, all the best pubs, and a Sainsbury's. Access to the building was easy and information from the owner was clear. The accommodation itself is a compromise for the location. The quirky decor is sadly lacking in a few of the basics that would bring the standard right up. A kettle or microwave and maybe even a toaster would be a great addition, along with a few decent and extra pillows.  There's no cutlery, crockery, or glasses, so bring your own There is no TV, although there is good WiFi, so you can watch on your phone or a tablet.  The shower/toilet is the biggest downfall. While grateful we had a private toilet, we only used it when absolutely necessary. There's so many artifacts and books (contributing to the quirkiness) that the dust has settled on and it doesn't feel clean. Also seem to have attracted ants and flies. All in all, it was somewhere to rest our bones after a long journey, but we probably wouldn't use it again.

• Linda (7/5): Vhodné na krátký odpočinek a pak ven za zábavou. - Skvělá lokalita. Ubytování bylo vyzdobeno ve stylu cyber punk / mutoid waste company. Celou noc za oknem velmi hlasitě hlučel nějaký kompresor. Ruch z ulice byl minimální to bylo v pořádku.

Manque d'un peu de confort. - L'emplacement au plein centre de Camden avec tout à proximité (café, restaurant, balade, bus), facile d'accès. La salle de bain privative qui est propre avec des serviettes à disposition. Logement à la décoration atypique dont on se souvient ! Manque d'une bouilloire ou d'une cafetière. Le lit n'est vraiment pas confortable et petit pour deux.

Era tutto pieno di polvere), letto troppo piccolo per 2 persone, non c era shampoo/bagnoschiuma. Niente TV, niente phon. Abbiamo trovato un asciugamano che ci è dovuto bastare per 4 giorni. Posizione scomoda .della tazza. Di buono ha solo la posizione: a due passi dalla metro e dal mercato.

I should’ve taken more thorough pictures. It was absolutely filthy. Everything, even the sheets, reeked of mildew. The bed is basically broken, and so is the sink. Additionally, someone entered my room and touch my things while I was away. No..they didn’t tell me!!!

In a good way.The recycled art work was incredible,from the astronaut that greets you on the stairs to the printed circuit board map of Africa. Excellent location in the centre of Camden. Nothing of note,but it could do with some TLC in places.

Fuimos a pasar fin de año y nos dejó una bolsa con globos y dulces variados en la puerta como regalo. La cama no era muy cómoda, se escuchaba bastante el ruido del exterior y la cocina no tiene nada para cocinar (cubiertos, menaje, ni si quiera fuego). Además no había lavamanos en el baño y cuando te duchabas el agua corría por todo el suelo.

I thought it would be more "apartment" in that I might be able to make a cup of tea. I brought tea bags, milk and sugar. There was a fridge and a sink, but the hob was tiled over and there was no kettle. What was the fridge for?

The location is excellent if you know what to expect, and anyone who books here would be mental to expect it to be quiet and peaceful, it's Camden, it's noisy, busy and a bit crazy ! What we couldn't have known is that the windows don't shut so extra noisy for that. The rickety stairs and the very soft mattress, I wouldn't recommend for older people, nor for 2 large persons, the double bed is not that wide and the sink is very close to the toilet, could easily brush your teeth while on the loo if you are so enclined! Not complaining, just stating, mini fridge very useful but no kettle, not one glass/mug/spoon or even a sponge (sink and mirror in bathroom not to my standard of cleanliness but that's ok). We enjoyed our stay and very convenient for transport/shops everything or either walking to West-end. NOT ABOUT THE PROPERTY - Don't bother eating at Poppies fish & chips next door, disappointing, not good and pricey.

We had a blast just looking around seeing all of the art they put around, was even greeted by the owner over an intercom. Would definitely try and stay here again in the future! Nothing.

• Alfonso (8/5): Excellent quirky little studio in the heart of Camden. - Great location and amazing quirky building close to the best area of Camden Town. Easy to find and easy to access. Excellent for a couple of days or three in London. Needs a kettle in empty cupboard under the sink and a microwave on top of fridge. Bed mattress needs replacement.

• David (6/5): Perfect location for the young or in my case young at heart. - It was quirky to say the least, not for couples but excellent if visiting Camden for one night. Perfect for a student or lone traveller. The heating was on all night which isn’t good (for me) and the bed was ok. Nothing bad enough to complain about. The entrance is a bit treacherous if you have enjoyed yourself too much! 😊
• Joseph (10/5): Excellent - No fussing around or needing to panic when my train ran late. I had the code before I even left for London. Collecting the keys was really easy. The apartment was a really unique spot to stop. It was wildly decorated. The location is excellent, right in the middle of camden town (you look down on the high street from the window) and yet I suffered no noise disturbance during my stay. There's a Sainsburys 5 mins away, Camden Market, also 5 mins aways, Camden Town Tube Station close by too. For the price I was heartily impressed A microwave would be a great addition. The appartment has a fridge and there's so much street food nearby, be nice to reheat something after going out for some drinks. Also the lighting is extremely dim, I would replace the abstract wood lampshade with a different one and a brigher LED bulb. Could be nice to have an additional lamp or something.
• Dominic (8/5): Overall, very happy with my stay here. I'd book this again. - A really cool, funky place to stay, right in the heart of Camden. I was staying here to go to a gig at Dingwalls, so the location was perfect. The shower was decent, and having a fridge freezer in the room was useful. The curtain on the window in the main bedroom area doesn't completely cover the window. It's not a privacy concern, but it did let in a bit more light than I'd have liked. And, as is bizarrely common with places to stay, no plug was provided for the sink or washbasin.
• Agus (8/5): Estancia práctica con inconvenientes nocturnos - Nos gustó el alojamiento, la habitación estaba bastante bien, en pleno Camden, y tenía lo necesario para nuestra estancia. Eso si, por las noches a veces había bastante ruido, con sirenas o conciertos del pub de enfrente, y hacía bastante calor por la estufa que no conseguíamos apagar. También era un poco incómodo que no tuviéramos pica en el baño.

The gentleman that met us was a character at 80 years old very informative This room with a small bed not a double with adjoining toilet and shower which was absolutely disgusting unclean I had to go out and buy cleaning stuff to sanitise every where .there is no kitchen equipment at all not a glass or cup or knife and fork so we had to eat out all the time.theres no where to hang your clothes just 2 benches attached to wall .the window has 3 ridiculous large containers full of dead plants and plastic flowers which was covered in little flies.i rang the number attached for contacts to ask if they had more towels as was left 2 towels for 5 days .the whole place needs gutted and bloody good clean .

• Nigel (8/5): An Inspiration For Budding Artists - I love the great art cultured furnishings, the great sculptured designs, putting good use of throw away items to use as decor. The bed was fantastic for comfort with a lovely clean smell of lemon fresh bedding. Overall, clean and interesting, being in a great location for the high street and market. Great to have a fridge and washing machine too! Would have been nice to have a little more self catering items, like a kettle. The shower worked well but adjusting the water temperature took a while to adjust to.

The flooring in the bathroom is very strange and we chose not to use the shower. It was very noisy all night from Camden parties.

• Humphries (8/5): A most amazing experience in the heart of Camden perfect for our night at the Jazz Cafe. - The absolutely amazing eclectic decor, artifacts and atmosphere - so very Camden! The fact that there wasn't a kettle or tea/coffee - we brought our own milk! The shower head was leaking but I actually fixed that! The shower/toilet area could have been a little cleaner...

• Sarah (8/5): An amazingly unique property in the most perfect location. - The uniqueness of the property is amazing, and the location. The host allowed us to make last-minute changes to check in early and that was extremely helpful. It wasn't the cleanest, and we were unaware that there wouldn't be cups and plates to use, so we came unprepared for that.

• Christiane (10/5): It was an extraordinary place to stay! - A cozy, clean room with futuristic furnishings and plenty of space-themed art, right in the heart of Camden’s vibrant hustle and bustle — hosted by the nicest space artist in the world. Staying here felt like living inside an art exhibition.
