• Petra (10/5): Klare Empfehlung! Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Matala :-) - Alles war super! Sehr saubere Unterkunft, tolle Ausstattung und eine äußerst herzliche und freundliche Gastgeberin, sodass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
• Simon Moritz (10/5): Perfect place for a week in Matala - Great place in a very central location. Easy to reach the beaches, restaurants and a small shop. Very friendly host, super helpful with anything. Free parking, good enough and stable WiFi (>15mbit), good kitchen with lots of space and enough equipment.

Ritorneremo.... - Siamo due amiche che hanno soggiornato a Matala nell' appartamento di Ioanna che vogliamo ancora ringraziare per la gentilezza e disponibilità ad attendere il nostro arrivo la sera tardi e per averci accolte amichevolmente. Inoltre Ioanna si è prodigata per risolvere un piccolo problema con il miscelatore della doccia! Come sottolineato da altri, l'appartamento è risultato ben attrezzato ed in una posizione fantastica nel centro del paese di Matala (che ci resterà nel ❤️).... Bella vista mare e tanti bar, ristoranti e negozi proprio sotto casa. Nulla
• Miriam (6/5): - Tolle Lage im Zentrum und nur zweite Reihe zum Meer, sehr nah am Weg zum Red Beach, Meerblick, tolles Lokal unterhalb (Giannis Grill), sicherer Parkplatz, sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die sehr schnell reagiert (bei Regen hat sie mich sogar zu meinem Auto auf dem Parkplatz gefahren :) ) Sauberkeit hat leider nicht unserem Anspruch genügt (Haare im Bett, Leintücher/Handtücher fleckig, Wasserkocher verkalkt, schimmeliger Filter in Kaffeemaschine…); Wasserpumpe leider sehr laut (bei Toilettenspülung zb); in der Dusche fehlt ein Vorhang so dass alles nass wird, Siphon am Waschbecken undicht, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimme für uns daher leider nicht

• Sarah (7/5): Great spot but bring good earplugs. - Excellent location in the middle of town with a beautiful view. Ioanna was very helpful and responsive. The water pump connected to the restaurant downstairs was very noisy until 1am going on and off constantly. The pillows need upgrading as uncomfortable. The lighting was very harsh.
• Eline (7/5): - Het appartement was ruim en op een goede locatie. Het was goed geluidsdicht, want we hebben geen last gehad van het restaurant eronder. Het contact met Adriana was heel goed. We hadden 3 nachten geen warm water. De eigenaresse heeft het geprobeerd op te lossen, maar dat lukte niet. Dit heeft ze wel netjes gecompenseerd. En je hoort een pompgeluid wanneer er water wordt gebruikt, ook vanuit het restaurant. Dit hoor je dus veel, maar het stopt na middernacht.

• Gilda (10/5): Nel cuore di Matala - Alloggio incantevole esattamente come appare nelle foto. Posizione invidiabile nel centro di Matala e con un terrazzino con vista in cui è perfetto rilassarsi dopo una giornata esplorativa. Le camere sono spaziose e i letti molto comodi. Torneremo sicuramente!!

• Fjwood69 (10/5): Fantastic stay in the heart of Matala, steps from the sea, shops, and dining. - The location is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the sights & sounds of Matala itself. Steps from restaurants, shops and the beach it's fantastic. And as a base for venturing out to other parts of Crete, it's an easy trip to Heraklion, Rethymno, various cultural sites, or villages along the south coast. Parking is also very useful as this can be very painful in Matala during the high season. Would definitely return. Being directly above George's Yard (one of the best and certainly busiest restaurants in Matala), it's occasionally necessary to close the balcony door so as to enjoy some peace and quiet.
• Benoit (10/5): Top location! - Modern and clean, wonderful view, great location 1 minute from the central square and bakery. We cooked 2 evenings, everything you need is available. Parking included, which is necessary. Everything was fine, we had 2 little issues but Adrianna fixed them right away.
