rowena (3/5): Looks can be deceptive. - Looked amazing Villa flooded from 3 diff areas when It rained. This made the tiled floor treacherous. We also had the misfortune to be there during a storm. Pool heating was knocked out. Most importantly so was the hot water heating. We had NO hot water for 5 days of our week long stay. The technicians that turned up several times at the villa said they needed a part. According to customer service at Villaplus it was just an expected disturbance from the storm and no sun to heat the solar panels. Their answer to the flooding prob was to send us two girls to mop up and leave extra towels. A health and safety sign on the wall said there was an electric shower backup. There wasn’t!! The intercom was faulty and kept making a high pitched noise. Villaplus’s answer to that was to just switch it off then complain to me by whatsap that one of their technicians was outside but couldn’t contact me! Lovely villa to look at. But book at ur peril. And don’t expect any sympathy or understanding from Villaplus customer service. We have been given a paltry part refund. Personally I’d have preferred hot water to get washed! Maybe that’s not something Villaplus customer service do. Attached photos do not come near showing what the flood was like
Luisa (10/5): A lovely relaxing escape at Villa Milano in Playa Blanca. - The villa was lovely- modern, bright and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with a range of crockery, utensils and table wear. Three bedrooms with tons of built in storage and comfortable beds. Three bathrooms were modern and spotlessly clean. The villa had a small putting with a washing machine and iron and ironing board. A nice pool with plenty of outdoor seating and a lower, more private area which provided some shelter from the wind. Located less than 10 minutes from the Rubicón Marina, we had a wide range of restaurants and shops close by. It would have been nice to have a bit of kitchen roll, some more toilet roll and a few cleaning products, but this wouldn’t prevent us from booking again.
