- Tessa (10/5): Relaxing break to start the year - It was very cosy, great location, had everything we needed. We appreciated the heating being on, the fire laid and a welcoming lamp on our arrival. The dressing room was a great space for walking gear, and the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The car parking space was a good size too. The only very slight niggle was that the arrival email mentioned the location of the key box but not that you needed to undo 2 locks on the door. Hard to see when we arrived, was almost dark at 4pm - of course the instructions inside the Old Beams DID mention the 2 locks! Maybe add that to your email? But once we managed to get in everything was lovely.
- Sands (10/5): What a fantastic spot, right in Ambleside with a lovely pub virtually next door I wouldn’t gestateto book again - Very clean and well stocked with everything you may want with regards to cooking and cleaning.
