Guest Reviews
- Robert (9/5): Location, well maintained property, several restaurants and dining options. - Location , well maintained property, variety of dining options, bus stop and great café on the corner. Nil
- Katie (5/5): Adequate - Location was great.
Practical set up. Bedding & cleanliness was also good. The detailing - tissue box had about 6 tissues left in it, no spare box to be found.
Salt & pepper shakers empty - no pepper to refill with
Checking in at 3pm, temperature was dropping and the place had clearly not been occupied recently because it was freezing & took a long time before heating really warmed the building. Heatpump could have been left on 20 degrees to make it at least comfortable.
No additional blankets in bedroom to bring downstairs while it warmed up.
Cups while im sure clean from dishwasher were badly stained.
Bathroom had bare minimum, no tissue box there either, nor cotton pads/buds - again its the little things.
Im still waiting for my damage deposit to be returned 24hrs later - I think that's unreasonable.
Compared to other properties around the country it was adequate but average.

- Melanie (10/5): - Modern and clean A little expensive
- Howden (9/5): - Location is really great, property was clean and functional Not much at all
- Hayley (10/5): -
- Ellen (9/5): Everything was perfect, easy booking experience and great communication. - Arrival was so easy with the use of lock box, fast & informative communication with the host. The apartment was exactly as shown in the online images.

- Annette (9/5): - The apartment was bright, clean, and comfortable. It was easy to operate doors, windows, and blinds to manage the air and light.
The kitchen was outfitted well, with everything easy to access, and it was lovely to have the courtyard with its chairs, privacy, and clothesline.
Addington was a great location for us, with easy access to the city, Hagley Park, and roads to other tourist spots. Also good for restaurants and supermarkets. The plants growing along the driveway made it a bit challenging to navigate - the trickiest being a grape vine growing over from the neighbouring yard. It's a bit tricky reversing when there are plants scraping the sides of the vehicle. This was not a deal-breaker, just an inconvenience.
- Emma (10/5): -
- Lynley (8/5): Great location and facilities were really good. Everything we needed. Great unit - Very close to the Wolfbrook Arena and lots of places to eat
The communication was excellent
Facilities brilliant. Everything we could possibly need. The beds were very uncomfortable
- Dave (10/5): - I have stayed here a number of times now and as usual it is perfect. Location is great, easy process to go through to access. Staff communication is simple and welcoming. The property is clean and well stocked. The small gifts biscuits or drinks make it an even better experience. Nothing
- Jie (9/5): Good experience for short stay. - Very tidy for everything in the room, Very cozy, good design and decoration for the property. Good position, lot of restaurants in 5 minutes walks. Entire kitchen things, time was very tight and I didn't have time to cook a meal myself, next time I will.
- Peggy (10/5): Amazing - Beautifully modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean and comfortable in a great location with easy walk to cafes and restaurants. Nothing.
- Zeba (9/5): -
- Nichola (6/5): - Very clean Beds were terrible
- Susilia (10/5): The stay was delightful, amenities were amazing, location made it extremely easy to get to and from places. The automati - The open floor plan, the heat pump and the washer/dryer and the large bathroom and two toilets. There were no extra linen and to receive extra linen we were about to be charged $25 for it.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location. Modern, clean and comfortable. There wasn't a general waste rubbish bin so had to take rubbish with me in fear of being charged. Otherwise very good.
- Megan (9/5): Superb -
- Minwei (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful - There were Asian condiments in the cupboard and the only property we stayed in this trip that provided a small carton of milk in the fridge. The house was furnished nicely and the beds were comfy. It’s a fairly quiet street but with multiple food options nearby. The sofa smelled a bit funky. Unfortunately, it appears it took on the body odour of some previous guests. Might be good to change the sofa and cushion covers and wash the sofa blanket on a regular basis.
The toaster was also a bit temperamental. It didn’t always stay when you press the lever down to activate it. The doneness of the toaster was also inconsistent.
- Margaret (7/5): Our stay suited our purposes. - Location and condition of the property was good. Very close to a small shopping centre and bus stop. As regular holiday home renters we were surprised at the tone of the emails about house rules. There were so many rules and additional charges that we were put off even before we arrived. Instead of feeling welcome the tone of the rules and instructions seemed to assume we would damage the property. Our week long stay was fine but not so welcoming. That said, we did appreciate the tea, coffee and basic condiments available.
Note the property is unit 4. We were just given the main address and had to ask a neighbour which unit we were in.
- Angela (10/5): We loved our stay. We didn’t want to leave. Great are close to shops airport mall. Very quiet area. - Everything! Very cozy and homely. Didn’t want to leave.
- John (8/5): Great Location - would stay again! - The location of this apartment is great! It is in a central location with cafes and restaurants very close by, but the street is very quiet and the place backs onto a park which makes it feel very secluded.
The kitchen was very well appointed and having a seperate toilet downstairs was great! The beds were very comfortable too with plenty of pillows and bedding. Although we didn't use the laundry, having a washing machine/dryer within the unit would be very handy if I was staying a little longer. We really enjoyed our stay. The stairs to start with felt a little steep But we got used to them over the time we were there. I had an elderly mother staying with us so was a little nervous of her ascent and descent ... but she made sure she only made one trip up and down rather than multiple ones. The Kitchen was great; A lot of people don't understand how to treat a glass cook top which is such a shame but I felt the cleaners could get some advice on how to keep the cook top clean with the paste and scraper,.it badly needed doing. I managed to clean it a lot more than it had been when we arrived but it needed the proper 'utensils'. Other than that.....LOVED IT!
- Vincenzo (1/5): WARNING ASBESTOS! Just 5 metres from the apartment there is a pile of ASBESTOS abandoned and chipped - the central position of the structure As soon as we arrived we noticed that just 5 meters from the apartment there was a pile of abandoned and partially chipped asbestos. Knowing the dangers of asbestos for human health and deeming it appropriate and necessary not to stay there, we immediately asked, in vain, the managers of the structure and the booking customer service to intervene immediately to find an alternative solution, documenting everything with photos and asking to be contacted urgently by someone capable of making decisions in this regard and taking full responsibility for the above.
- Caroline (9/5): A delightful house - a home away from home! - A lovely house, excellently equipped - we had absolutely everything we needed. The location was great too - a short drive to the city and 20 minutes from the airport.
- Martin (9/5): Superb - Very tidy and comfortable for a small family. There could be a little more cutlery in the kitchen.
- Niki-lee (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication and property was in perfect condition.
