Also, an easy location if you would like to take ubers and go somewhere Also huge thanks to the staff who kept in touch with me since the beginning of my stay til I left. The noise from the neighborhood that lasted until early morning - but the host provided me ear plugs
- Roy (6/5): Bonito pero sucio y sin servicio o asistencia efectiva - Amplio y se denota que está nuevo La higiene, está muy sucio en especial esquinas, incluso desde que llegamos había una camisa tirada en el baño. El fregadero lleno de restos de comida sin limpiar o botar. El servicio de ayuda es todo por mensajes totalmente inservible ya que no cuentan con alguna persona física que ayude o asista en caso de una emergencia como que se queden o pierdan las llaves. Adicionalmente no hay un parqueo y gente de la calle cobra parquear en la calle donde es totalmente gratis

- guillermo (7/5): Lugar muy cómodo buena ubicación no hay maletero - Ambientes grandes todo limpio en orden y funciónando lugar tranquilo No nos brindó un lugar para dejar las maletas antes del check in ni aun pagando. En nuestro caso éramos 5 pasajeros con un solo departamento estábamos más que cómodos

- Ibarra (10/5): Excelente apartamento en casco - El apartamento estaba super hermoso, limpio, CENTRICO, las vistas 10/10 de la bahía de Panamá. Las amenidades del apartamento muy de buen gusto y modernas. Cuenta con absolutamente TODO: toiletries, tiene una cocina equipada con absolutamente todo, incluso jabon de fregar. Me sorprendio mucho que tiene centro de lavado y ellosnproporcionan hasta los pods para lavar! Me encantó. El balcon del apartamento fue lo mejor! Las vistas a la bahía increíbles. Se escuchan las aves en la mañana Lo único que no me gustó fue que al llegar los aires no funcionaban y las luces estaban parpadeando. Sin embargo el equipo fue tan atento. Enviaron a una cuadrilla inmediatamente y no se fueron hasta arreglar el problema. Un poco incomodo porque queríamos descansar y no fue posible ya que hacía mucho calor y decidimos salir en lo que lo arreglaban. En cuestión de 2 horas estuvo listo. Sin embargo, los errores pasan, hay cosas que se salen de las manos. Le sigo dando un 10/10 a este lugar porque a pesar de ese pequeño inconveniente fueron tan amables y atentos tanto como el equipo virtual de atención al cliente como los trabajadores que fueron a arreglar el sistema de electricidad.

Very noisy, sounded like somewhere next door was a washing machine running all night and the rooftop bar around the corner was very loud too. Normally I am not too sensitive about noises, but here it was a bit too much. Sadly the Wifi didn’t work in one of the two bedrooms, connection was too bad.

- Petr (1/5): I Do not recommend! - Location is near Plaza Herrea which is good. Apartment facing the street - u never get a night sleep as there is a street party every night. In our apartment the aircon did not work. They tried to fixed it 3times but no go. So with windows open no sleep and terrible heat. Also the apartment is full of mold. Like it’s kept really bad. The bath shower didnt work. Place is dirty. No bins sp people leave their waste at the hall of the building which is a whole different of a smell. For the price they charge there are tens of better places to stay in Casco. I would take it only as last resort.
- Amanda Feodora (10/5): Große Empfehlung! - Wir haben zum Abschluss unserer Costa-Rica- und Panama-Reise drei Nächte in einem Apartment der Paradise Lodge verbracht – und es war mit Abstand die schönste Unterkunft unserer gesamten Reise. Das Apartment war äußerst sauber und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das sehr bequeme Bett und die einwandfrei funktionierende Klimaanlage, was in dieser Region einfach Gold wert ist. Das gesamte Gelände der Lodge ist wunderschön angelegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Man kann zahlreiche Tiere beobachten und auf kleinen Wanderwegen die Natur genießen. Auch die persönliche Atmosphäre hat uns sehr gefallen: Wir hatten die Gelegenheit, die Besitzer kennenzulernen und uns nett mit ihnen zu unterhalten. Dabei haben wir tolle Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen. Das gesamte Team war durchweg zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit – das Serviceniveau war wirklich sehr hoch. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Alis: Die Kommunikation mit ihr war unkompliziert, herzlich und immer angenehm. Sie war unglaublich aufmerksam und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch einmal besonders gemacht. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team der Paradise Lodge für diese erholsamen und wunderschönen Tage. Für uns war es der perfekte Abschluss unserer Reise – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Uns hat alles gefallen!

Helaas hadden wij het idee dat de airco niet goed werkte. Zelfs op de koudste stand kwam er relatief warme lucht uit. Dit zagen wij ook al in eerdere recensies terugkomen.

Make sure you ask for the main building entry code before trying to get in. Air conditioning also a bit temperamental.

- Thomas Josef Heinrich (8/5): Super Lage, geräumiges und gut ausgestattetes Appartment. - Sehr gute Lage. Zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten zur Plaza Herrera. Für das Betreten des Appartments sind 2 Codes erforderlich. Ein Code ist für eine Lockbox im Hausflur mit dem Appartementschlüssel und ein anderer Code für die Haustür. Der Code für den Appartmentschlüssel wird frühzeitig übersandt. Der Code für die Haustür wird allerdings erst kurz vor dem Check-in Zeitpunkt auf das Mobiltelefon geschickt. Touristen aus Europa reisen mit einem langdauernden Flug an und haben eventuell zunächst noch keine mobile Daten Internetverbindung für Panama. In diesem Fall sollte man in einem Cafe oder Restaurant per WLAN den Haustür Code in Empfang nehmen, sonst kann man die Haustür nicht öffnen. Dieser Ablauf war uns zunächst nicht klar und sollte etwas deutlicher erklärt werden.

- Clara (9/5): - Property is newly renovated well equipped. Staff is very responsive and nice. Easy to walk to the Casco nice area. Casco is expanding and o e day everything around the property will be part of the nice area. While we felt safe walking in the area of the apartment the apartment is at the edge of the nice area of Casco Viejo. Some shady people always in the blocks of the apartment trying to take advantage particularly if you want to park. Nothing your host can do about it.

Encambio las paredes y la cama de este necesitan pintura. La tapa del sanitario estaba suelta, la reportamos, y en lugar de cambiarla, la quitaron y lo dejaron sin tapa. Nuestro apartamento era el 2C.

MUY SEGURO TRANSITAR EN EL LUGAR - Tiene muy buena ubicación, el único problema que no nos habían pasado el código de ingreso al edificio, si el de la habitación pero no teníamos como ingresar al edificio, luego se solucionó. Que no había ninguna cortesía, nada para tomar, un saquito de té o de café, no hay muchos supermercados cerca y uno tiene comprar un frasco de café o una caja de té por 3 días, cuando uno llega desea tomar algo.

We did not stay at this apartment. Also the blue key fob was broken which is used to enter secondary main door. They ga v e me code to another box to access the key card to enter main door. The area of this property is not in the most safe area. Definitely not walking around especially at night.

- Joanna (9/5): Great accomodations for a short stay in the old town of Panama City. - The old section of town was a few blocks away -easy to walk to the restaurants and sites. The space was quiet as long as we kept the windows closed. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. We were never able to figure out how to use the TV - sign in etc. There were no instructions. The Georgian restaurant at street level was exceptional. Very efficient air conditioning. Great WiFi. Couch in living area was not comfortable. Too noisy outside to keep windows open. Minimal kitchen supplies unless you would want to buy simple basics to cook. Would have been nice to have a pool or access to a pool. Towels and linens were not changed during our 6 night stay, though we could have cleaned them in the washer. nor was there any cleaning of our unit.

- Ardiana (8/5): - Die Lage war grundsätzlich gut, nahe am Zentrum von Casco Viejo. Die Zimmer waren genügend gross und alles war recht sauber. Die Klimaanlagen liessen sich nicht immer gut bedienen und haben teilweise extrem getropft. Gleich neben dem Gebäude begann ein ziemlich düsteres Stadtviertel - die Polizei hielt uns an nicht dort zu Fuss durchzulaufen. Am letzten Abend gab es sogar direkt unten an der Strasse eine Schiesserei. Leider auch sonst sehr viel Lärm, vor allem im 1. Stockwerk - Geräuschisolation = 0.
- Angela (8/5): An Uncomfortable Stay - I liked the quietness at late late night hours ( after midnight). I did not like the a/c breaking down and flooding the space. I did not like the bug problem (gnats/mosquitoes). These two aspects of my stay made it rather uncomfortable.

La ubicación no está muy buena debido al aspecto de la calle, pero está cerca de las atracciones que hay en el casco viejo de Panamá, donde todo se alcanza a pie. No me notificaron a tiempo cuál era el número del apartamento (hay 10 en ese mismo edificio). No me notificaron a tiempo tampoco la clave para abrir la puerta de la calle ni la clave para sacar la llave del casillero. Llegamos al edificio y no pudimos entrar. Luego apareció un chico que estaba en la calle y que aparentemente estaba al servicio del edificio y nos abrió la puerta. Luego él mismo se comunicó con los operadores para que nos mandaran por Whatsapp el número del apartamento y la clave del casillero para sacar la llave. Eso llamo yo una mala organización.

- Mitzi (10/5): Problemas con estacionamientos - Me encantó que todo estaba impecable, muy espacioso, tenia todo lo que necesitabamos para unas grandiosas vacaciones. La ubicacion del apartamento es bueno, tienes todo cerca. La seguridad tambien es muy buena, siempre hay personal de la policia nacional por todos lados. Lo unico que me arruinaba mi felicidad era que no cuentan con estacionamientos. En frente del edificio se puede uno estacionar pero o está lleno o tienen algunas personas locales que te piden dinero para dizque guardarte el parking o cuidar del carro. Esto es un oficio ilegal, considerado un mecanismo de estorcion, me pidieron que tenia que pagar $10 por dia, ya que en los estacionamientos legales se paga entre $20 o $25 por dia, lo que representa en un gasto adicional innecesario. Logré evadirlos y los reporté a las autoridades correspondiente para que no afecte al local, que por todo lo demas de magnifico.

Er waren wat issues maar doordat je 24 uur contact kan hebben via WhatsApp met een persoon dus geen computer was het makkelijk om dit direct te melden Het kon niet helemaal opgelost worden maar het feit dat er naar je geluisterd werd en begrip werd getoond maakte het acceptabel voor ons. Uiteraard hoop ik en daar ga ik wel vanuit dat ze de issues oplossen voordat de volgende gasten hier gaan verblijven. Wynwood is een bedrijf in meerdere landen die verantwoordelijk is voor de verhuur en deze mensen kunnen onmogelijk er persoonlijk zijn dus ze zijn afhankelijk van de schoonmakers...onderhoudsmedewerkers ed. en daar heb je dan niet veel controle over wat het voor hun wel lastiger maakt..daarom is het contact onderling zo belangrijk en daar ben ik ze dan ook heel dankbaar voor ...een dikke 10 voor dat 🤗 Uiteraard waren er wat dingen wat ons tegenviel maar details vind ik overbodig. Mijn tip in deze, ook al is dit niet eenvoudig (ik heb zelf een B&B op 1 van de eilanden in Panama) zorg voor goed personeel .

Hosts should inform you about how to get in a little earlier, because if you get to the property with no internet on your phone, you might have difficulties in accessing the premises or getting in touch with the renter.

- June (2/5): - Initially the service started out positive and proactive when the original suite did not have working a/c at all. I was able to relocate to another suite but the a/c while working, was very poor. I did not complain however at the time despite the hot sleepness nights. I did decide to extend my stay for a third night and that's when I was asked over Whatsapp for a photo of my credit card, with some numbers obscured. I said no as it wasn't my standard practice and that's when the tone changed to more pressure, which I did not like. I already had submitted a photo of my passport and a selfie, they were particularly insisted on the selfie, which is odd because most places are fine with a passport photo upload. Nagging for my credit card photo despite me extending for a third night, and they did not ask me prior. The a/c for both rooms barely work. The kitchen hood does not work. Asking for 50usd for a couple of hours check-out, initially friendly but puts pressure tactics for you to submit a photo of your credit card on a Whatsapp number that is different from their official website. Neighborhood at the edge with locals staring directly into your bedroom and living room, all day and night so I had to keep the blinds down, do not recommend at all.

- Ignatius (9/5): Excellent stay, I'll definitely use it again. - The apartment is within walking distance from everything in Casco Viejo. It is clean, spacious and the kitchen has all the appliances you may need, even a dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower and a bath tub. We parked the car in the street on arrival and only used it again after we checked out, two days later. Getting into the building on arrival, after a three hour, drive was a bit of an issue. Make sure you get the code to enter the building and the code to open your apartment key locker. Without both codes you will not be able to access the apartment. Open the building front door with the 4 digit code, then open your apartment key locker, on the right wall after you've entered the building, with the other code, to get your apartment key. You only get 1 key. If you are 2 people and 1 goes somewhere with the key, the other person is locked in and cannot leave the building, until the person with the key returns. Although the three air-conditioners were on, it didn't work. On day 2 afternoon it was 30.2C inside the apartment so I sent a Whats Up message to the managing company and they've immediately sent a technician to check it. He switched off all the circuit breaker switches, waited a minute and switched them back on. That worked and withing minutes the apartment was a comfortable 23C.
