Desayunos exquisitos, con posibilidad de que te lo traigan al bungalow y gran servicio de todos en general! Simpatía, atención, recomendaciones, todo, todo de lujo. Restaurante al medio día y noche, bar, una reserva ecológica donde puedes avistar distintos animales, mas no se puede pedir, espero poder regresar!!! Por poner algo, el wi-fi en el bungalow podría mejorar, pero considerando en donde esta el hotel, es lo de menos!
• Lori (10/5): Pretty hotel, but still in town - The over-the-water experience is wonderful. The room was very big and the breezes kept it cool. Still very romantic and the sunsets from the deck are amazing. Free welcome drink at the bar was nice. Very close water taxi to Bocas town. The picture makes it look like this is not surrounded by other homes and rentals, but it is very much so. It is on the bay of a town and surrounded. Busy boat traffic.

• Helen (7/5): As an experience it was fine. - We stayed in an over the water bungalow. It was very nice with a small seating area, an even smaller bedroom (with a lovely view from the bed) and a terrace with steps directly into the sea. Inside, there is a small glass panel in the floor to watch the fish and another with a raised glass cover, underneath which is a gap to feed the fish through (fish food is provided). It did feel very private and we had breakfast in bed which was lovely. The food in the restaurant was okay, nothing special. We enjoyed wandering through the nature reserve, directly behind the hotel, feeding the caiman (again, food provided) and trying to spot sloths. We were a bit disappointed that no one met us at the quayside with an umbrella as it was pouring with rain and they could see us arriving. In general the staff were pleasant enough but lethargic, we kept having to remind them of things like our drinks. The bedroom was tiny and the bathroom was so small washbags had to be kept in the living area. Not all the lights worked but as we were only staying one night that wasn’t a problem for us.

La comida muy rica, gracias por los detalles en el día de mi aniversario y cumpleaños. Si se se siente mucho el ruido desde el centro, había una fiesta y se sentía prácticamente al lado.

Pero me hubiera gustado que alguien me dijera que estamos en un entorno lleno de manglares, selva y flora a reventar... eso es fantástico pero tiene pequeños inconvenientes que no sabíamos... como que el agua no es cristalina, que depende mucho del clima y que es un entorno muy "fangoso" debido a que llueve mucho y el agua es mas oscura que en otros sitios. Por la mañana huele mal, imagino que por el sistema de desagüe... hay bastantes mosquitos, arañas, cangrejos... realmente no me han picado y he estado comoda, pero el ralec siempre va conmigo. Tienen 6 casas encima del agua pero hay otras 3 en los árboles, y nosotros sin querer reservamos la de los árboles, que al final estuvimos genial, pero pensábamos que habíamos escogido la del agua y nos desilusionamos. Aún con todo lo mencionado, la comida está buenisima!!! Nuestro vecino era un oso perezoso!! Y el lugar es de ensueño... seguramente repetiríamos El lugar es fantástico!! • Koen (9/5): Great stay with friendly staff, amazing excursions, and a unique jungle experience - We had a wonderful stay and would rate this accommodation a solid 9/10. Communication before arrival was excellent. The team shared all the necessary details on how to get there and provided helpful information about available excursions, which made planning very easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to help. They gave great advice, tips, and insights to make the most of every excursion. We joined the Zapatilla trip and the Isla Colón adventure—both were truly amazing experiences. A special mention goes to Captain Bobo, who made the island trip especially memorable. We were lucky enough to see dolphins every single day! On our last day, we visited Red Frog Beach, which is absolutely stunning. Lunch at Villa Rosa was another highlight—great food and a lovely setting with a swimming pool. One of the unique features of the accommodation is the private jungle trail right behind it. We loved walking this path several times a day. Along the way, we spotted red frogs, caimans, sloths, and much more—an unforgettable experience, especially for our kids. The accommodation also serves good meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast is particularly nice, and purified water is provided with meals or available upon request in your room. We also really appreciated the support from the reception desk in organizing our transport to David. They truly went the extra mile to help us, and in the end, we were able to arrange a 3.5-hour taxi ride with a trusted local driver. We traveled as a family with two boys aged 5 and 6, and overall, it was a fantastic and memorable stay. The only reason we didn’t give a perfect 10 is due to noise during the first two nights. However, we later learned this was because of a local festival, so it was temporary.

Hubo discrepancias con el desayuno, nos han realizado dos cobros por la reserva y la suma son unos 40€ de diferencia que tengo que reclamar, diciendo que era los impuestos, reserva con impuestos incluidos. El camino hacia el pueblo es una aventura por unas maderas que dan al lado, camino mal cuidado y lleno de basura, no es agradable de pasear, aconsejamos coger lancha si quieres ir al centro del pueblo.

• Kristin (8/5): Sehr gut. - Doppelzimmer im Haupthaus war sauber, jedoch relativ klein für zwei Erwachsene. Für eine Nacht hat es uns nicht gestört. Personal war sehr freundlich. Hilfsbereit beim Buchen vom Wassertaxi zu einem abgelegenen Strand und bei Abreise. Hotelbar und -Restaurant sehr gut. Kayak und Paddleboards standen kostenfrei zur Verfügung! Leider kein Strand am Hotel, so dass baden nur über die Holzstege möglich gewesen wäre. wir sind dafür mit Wassertaxi zu einem anderem Strand gefahren.
• Lucia (8/5): Beautiful hotel, great staff but not very nice location - The staff was super friendly and remembered all our preferences/request. It’s the most beautiful hotel in this island. It has its own natural reserve that is quite special: long trail and many animals. Location is not convenient, the nearest small town “old banks” doesn’t have any interesting attraction (compared to the other islands). The doors aren't fully covered and you can hear a lot of noise at night.
• Nina (8/5): - The staff was great. One can have a walk through the jungle in the back of the hotel and see animals. I only gave a medium score for comfort and value for money. The reason is the noise at night. I read the other reviews before booking this hotel and I hoped the noise from the other area of the island would in fact finish around 10pm but I was wrong. We had 3 nights at this place and each night the music played long after 10pm. One night it did not stop until the morning. The lack of sleep really didn't allow for an overall great experience unfortunately.

La habitación en si era justo arriba del lago donde estan los cocodrilos pequeños, en la noche hay ruido de la jungla pero es relajante, para la gente que le podia molestar haian tampones de oidos (no hay ventanas en si, son mosqueteros) Destaco muy por encima al barman, muy ricos tragos, ademas que el happy hour era muy buena instancia para aprovecharlo El personal en general muy amable y educado Podías hacer kayak el tiempo que quisieras y hasta donde pudieras, lo aprecie mucho ya que pudimos tener encuentro con delfines solos los dos Desde el baño podiamos ver a la otra cabaña, cambiaria eso para la privaciadad o pondria una cortina (nosotros pusimos la toalla) Y que es bueno que la gente sepa que no se pueden ocupar secadores de pelo en la habitacion porqué se corta la luz El resto en verdad muy bien

• HUGUES (9/5): - La vie sur l'eau accueilli par des singes sauvages. Le duplex au dessus du restaurant est immense avec 6 lits. Le jardin privé de l'hôtel est à voir: une jungle avec caïmans, paresseux, boa, grenouilles colorées, singes, etc... on a un peu peur mais ça vaut le coup. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Traverser l'ile à pied pour la grande plage :très bonne ballade. Pas de TV, pas de clim, tout est solaire et pour aller au village à 15mm à pied, le bateau est préférable voir indispensable la nuit. Mais l'expérience du trajet est à faire 1 fois. Mon regret l'eau n'était pas transparente pendant notre séjour

• Yehudith (8/5): Beautiful, secluded hotel - The staff is very nice and helpful. The place is very beautiful and well-kept on the water. However, the water does not look clear and there is a lot of seaweed on the bottom. It is not very pleasant to swim. For nice beaches you have to sail to nearby islands. On the other hand, it is nice to do kayaking, there is free of charge there. We had a quite small double room (the cheapest on the site). The room was very hot. The ceiling fan was not enough and we were given an additional fan. The hotel has a restaurant with reasonable prices, but a menu that does not change from day to day. There are no other restaurants in the area. If you want variety, you have to take a water taxi to the town of Box or Bastimentos. No air-conditioning.
• Joanne (10/5): Fabulous place to stay – location, staff and amenities - Excellent location on Bastimentos Island, set within a nature reserve and just a 15-minute water taxi ride from the main island of Isla Colón. We stayed for 10 days in a beautiful and comfortable overwater bungalow overlooking the ocean, with direct access from our private terrace for snorkeling or swimming. The views were stunning. A special thank-you to the housekeeping team, who did an outstanding job throughout our stay. The on-site restaurant and bar are top-notch, offering excellent food along with warm and attentive service from the entire staff. Reception was always available to help with anything we needed, whether arranging water taxis or organizing tours at very reasonable prices. Eclypse de Mar has its own boat and guide for island beach trips, snorkeling excursions, and wildlife tours. Alejandro went out of his way to create two very memorable experiences for us. We also loved the daily wildlife sightings within the nature reserve—sloths, capuchin monkeys, caimans, and many species of birds and butterflies. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, well-run place with great service in beautiful surroundings. Wifi from our bungalow 2 was very poor throughout our 10 day stay. Never any issues at the restaurant. Good wifi there.
• Lisa (10/5): Great place to stay, mini resort feeling on a beautiful island with stunning sunsets - Beautifully designed, exceptional customer service. Good food, especially liked the breakfast. There’s a small nature reserve in the back where you can see sloths, birds and caimans. I booked a massage with Natalia which was amazing. We stayed in the main house which is less private, you can hear everyone who walks by plus the people in the restaurant. But it didn’t bother us really.

• michelle (10/5): Perfect - Everything is a 10, good location, only couple of minutes on water taxi to Boca. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Restaurant on site has some choices, as well as the bar Definitely recommend even if is a bit pricey, but it's once in a lifetime experience. No complaints at all
• kathrin (9/5): Sehr zu empfehlen! - Wir waren im Dschungelbungalow. Natur pur. Man sieht so viele Tiere. Wir wurden morgens von einem Affen begrüsst. Jedes Mal beim Verlassen des Bungalows haben wir mind. 1 Faultier gesehen. Das Zimmer war sauber, gross und komfortabel. Das Personal, vor allem Fredy, war sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage im Allgemeinen wirklich sehr schön und es hat alles was man braucht. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker. Man ist mitten im Dschungel und es muss einem bewusst sein, dass das eine oder andere Tier den Weg in den Bungalow findet. Das Wasser ist nicht wirklich klar (nicht wie auf den Bildern). Die Frühstücksoptionen könnten ausgebaut werden.

• Richelanne (9/5): Geweldig en we gaan zeker terug! - De sereniteit, de rust maar toch ook de gezelligheid. Je voelt je alleen op de wereld. Je moet met de boot om van het resort te komen. Maar waarom zou je vaak van het resort af willen? Er was wel een klamboe. Maar dat is niet voldoende. Je moet immers in de ruimte rondlopen. En vooral in de ochtend en in de avond zijn er muggen. Wij hebben de shutters van binnen bedekt en toen gespoten. Daarna gingen we pas naar de kamer. Ik denk dat hoe dichter je bij de jungle zit, hoe meer last je daarvan hebt.

• Marco (10/5): - Eclipse del mar è una struttura accogliente. Sono stato con mia moglie da lunedì 9 a mercoledì 11 di febbraio . La struttura è fedele alla descrizione. Se si vuole un posto tranquillo , è un luogo perfetto . Il personale è gentile e garbato . Alexandro ci ha guidato in un tour ,tutto per noi . Abbiamo visto i bradipi in natura ,i delfini e visitato Playa de las Estrella . Tutto questo in dalle 11 alle 15:30 ,il tempo che avevamo a disposizione. Alexandro è stato molto empatico ed è stata una guida eccellente . Lo consiglio vivamente . Che dire dormire con le onde del mare che sono sotto di te , è una esperienza da fare
• Caroline (7/5): Unfortunately our stay was marred by strong winds, torrential rain and cool weather, it would be idyllic in fair conditi - We stayed in a very small room adjacent to the restaurant. Lovely views and very quiet. Pleasant staff. The private nature reserve was wonderful! We saw tiny tree frogs, beautiful birds and caiman and turtles in the lake. The restaurant menu was limited but adequate. The ‘path’ from the hotel to the village is a rickety narrow slippery (after rain) wooden path through a mangrove swamp, filled with rubbish, bottles, cans, nappies, takeaway cartons and furniture! It’s a disgrace! I wonder if they deliberately don’t improve it to discourage guests from leaving the hotel!

• daniele (8/5): Esperienza autentica nella natura senza dimenticare le comodità - -Prima di tutto la riserva naturale di proprietà della struttura davvero sensazionale -ottima pulizia tutti i giorni -struttura caratteristica ben integrata nella natura e nella laguna - buona l’offerta del cibo e la qualità ed ottimi i cocktail - colazione in camera deliziosa -complice il maltempo (ovviamente non dipende dalla struttura)la laguna è molto fangosa e torbida e fare il bagno è stato letteralmente impossibile. - ambiente circostante (per andare dalla struttura alla cittadina il percorso è totalmente cosparso di rifiuti.. una cosa brutta da vedere)

• saphir (9/5): Beau lieu pour un séjour - Le site, calme, beau. L'agencement des extérieurs avec suffisamment de fauteuils ou chaises longues. Le restaurant, qualitatif et bien placé et le bar où le barman, au demeurant très sympathique, fait de très bons cocktails. Tout le personnel est agréable et fait le maximum pour que le séjour soit réussi. La taille de la chambre est un peu petite et il est difficile d'y ranger ses affaires, idem pour la salle de bain où en plus les patères sont près des wc et au dessus de la poubelle. Le bar très près de la mangrove et donc des moustiques...difficile d'y rester mais il y a d'autres lieux pour profiter de son cocktail !

• Manuel (9/5): Beautiful place with good service. - Very good structure, not far away from Bocas town by boat (20’). Personnel is extremely helpful. If you stay at the main building, it could be noisy. The roof in the main building is made of zinc so it will be noisy when it rains. In addition, since in the main building you have the restaurant and the dinning room, you will have also some noise from those areas. Better to stay at the bungalows farther away from the main building. Food is ok.

• Juana Marín Leoz (9/5): - Las instalaciones, estupendas cabañas, muy confortables, y el personal, muy amable y con gran disposición. Sus recomendaciones, en días no muy soleados y lluviosos, nos salvaron y alegraron los días. El menú del restaurante no es muy variado, a todas las playas cercanas hay que desplazarse en lancha, ya que el camino al pueblo está en malas condiciones -que no es necesariamente responsabilidad del Hotel-.

• Marian (9/5): Empfehlung - Wir waren im Haupthaus untergebracht. Das Zimmer war nicht allzu groß, für 2 Personen aber völlig ausreichend. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön direkt am Wasser gelegen. Hervorzuheben ist der Teil der Anlage, welcher auf der Insel liegt. Man hat die Möglichkeit, via privatem Rundweg durch den Dschungel zu spazieren. Dabei sieht man Affen, Faultiere, Kaimane und verschiedene Vogelarten. Über die Unterkunft kann man verschieden Touren zu beispielsweise Schnorchel-Spots und kleineren Inseln buchen. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen waren lecker.
