Guest Reviews
- KIRILL (10/5): Great 👍 - We visited Puerto Rico for the first time with our family (three children) and chose this house — and it turned out to be a great decision. We did not regret it at all.
We were completely satisfied with the house. The location is excellent: shops, cafes, beaches, and El Yunque National Forest are all nearby. It takes about 40 minutes to reach San Juan and the airport, 15 minutes to Luquillo Beach (the best beach), and around 30 minutes to Ceiba Ferry (for trips to the islands of Culebra and Vieques).
The house is located in the forest, which creates a truly authentic and relaxing atmosphere, with the sounds of birds, frogs, and wildlife all around. It feels incredible.
The house is very well equipped and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, cutlery), a wonderful veranda, and a spacious ground floor area with a billiard table, grill, and fireplace. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The rooms are cozy, the living room is comfortable with a sofa and TV, and the bathrooms are convenient.
It is also worth highlighting the availability of beach equipment: beach chairs, towels, balls, coolers, beach utensils, and more. Overall, everything was excellent.
Our family travels a lot, and we can confidently say this is a great place to stay. I highly recommend this house to future guests.
Puerto Rico is beautiful!
P.S.
We visited El Yunque National Forest (highly recommended), Old San Juan (beautiful, authentic, and great food), and the Casa Bacardi Tour (I liked it, but overall nothing special).
We also went jet skiing ($120 for two people) and kayaking ($30 for four people). We mostly spent time at Luquillo Beach (the best!) — entry is $4 per car. There are many cafes and a wide variety of food options.
We also went to Seven Seas Beach a couple of times (not as good — the water is dirtier and it is windier) — entry is $5, and there is no proper cafe with food. -
- Michala (9/5): Jungle vibes! - Property was secluded and gave a wonderful feeling of an immersive experience in Puerto Rico. Was able to feel nature and hear the coquis singing all night. The driveway
- Fabien (10/5): Genial - L’hôte a été super, à l’écoute et nous a fourni des conseils sur la région tout le long du séjour
- Johanna (10/5): Over all it was wonderful, and it had breathtaking views. - There was a river around the corner.
They have good entertainment, the bathroom, bedrooms, living room and kitchen was very well prepared for our stay. No comment
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional - Joan was incredibly friendly, helpful, accommodating, and flexible. The house was clean, well equipped, conveniently located and surrounded by the sounds of the forest.
- Jodi (10/5): Beautiful mountain retreat with all the amenities and more! - Beautiful location in the mountains but minutes from the main highway. Island-wide power outages for the first couple days of our stay didn’t effect us in any way. The power and water were accessible the whole time despite the rolling outages. The AC units were loud at night, almost drowning out the amazing sounds outside, but they worked well. Screens in the living room windows would have allowed a little more fresh air in but we were comfortable the whole time. The balcony upstairs and full patio downstairs were amazing!
- Amber (9/5): Superb - Loved the sounds of the coqui at night, the proximity to El Yunque. We enjoyed playing pool in the covered outdoor space downstairs while grilling dinner.
- Lorel (8/5): No hot water to take a bath. - I like the location. There is no hot water in the morning. I have to take a bath with cold water.
- Daniel (10/5): Great and Family Place to Stay - Everything! Great and cleaned place to stay some days with your family... Thank you Joan for your service and communication.
