• Kamala (10/5): Perfect, no words to describe. By far one of my best stay in Iceland. - Everything was perfect. The interior decorations of the apartment make me feel cosy and comfortable like as if I am at my home. Everything was available in each room. The cleanliness was on the spot. I would highly recommend this apartment. The host respond to my email very quickly.

The light was on when we entered the apartment in the evening, and we felt truly welcomed and welcomed. This apartment was the nicest we've rented during our 15-day stay in Iceland. Here, for once, the price-performance ratio was just right. Thank you so much – we'd love to come back.

• Gerald (9/5): Comfort plus - Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, die Gastgeber haben an alles gedacht. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht, man könnte aber längere Zeit in diesem Apartment verbringen.
• Ann (9/5): A comfortable apartment close to the waterfront. - The apartment was cozy and comfortable. It was two blocks from the grocery store and within easy walking distance of a very good restaurant, the waterfront, the Duus Museum, and the Giantess Cave. The cab to and from the airport was $35 each way and we worried some about arranging the cab for the return trip, but it all worked out.

• Petra (10/5): Very clean, cozy and fully equiped apartment right in the heart of Keflavík downtown. - Amazing apartment located in Keflavík downtown only 10 mins drive (taxi) from the airport. Fully equiped, clean and cozy place. The owners are extremely polite and nice people. Will definitely stay in again if the place is available when we are traveling. I highly recommend this place for families.

Host was helpful with parking and offered us use of his own grand-childrens playhouse in the back garden. lots of choice of tea and coffee etc Everything you could possibly want in teh bathroom would be great to have an oven.

The rooms/sleeping arrangements were comfortable. It was clean and cozy. It was difficult to find the property. The directions weren’t 100% clear and we ended up on the wrong street.

The location is great for exploring the Keflavik town and also for access to the airport and rental car companies. The beds and furniture were comfortable, a nice little kitchen with a coffee station, and a nice spacious bathroom. The hosts were active communicators and provided useful travel links.

Minor point really get to the nearby supermarket and you will work it out!

Thank you! - The kindness and presence of the host who moved her own car because one of us was on crutches, facilitating his walk into the house. The lovely welcoming touches everywhere, well stocked kitchen, great bed, sheets and towels. Everything! Nothing!

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, except for a dishwasher. Its close proximity to the airport made our travel convenient, which was a big plus. As a group of friends staying for just one night, we found it to be the perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would definitely recommend it.

The apartment had everything we needed for a family of four:two decent sized bedrooms and large bathroom. It was very clean. Nothing. We didn’t actually spend much time there as we left early in the morning. Didn’t have parking but we used the parking lot which was just next door so not really a negative.

• Manoela (10/5): Perfect place - The flat is lovely, the decoration is so nice and you will find everything you need there, from game boards to hairdryer. Its really close to the airport and easy to park the car. My only complain would be about the shower curtain, its too long and you keep stepping over it during the shower. Sometimes it stucks in the drain but its a very easy problem to solve.

Good supermarket over the back fence. Very tasteful and thoughtfully decorated space. Shower was tiny. Toilet seat was loose and needed replacing. Not much else to complain about.

• Paul (10/5): Warm, cozy, and relaxing apartment perfect for a long layover or staying for longer near Keflavik airport. - The hosts were very kind and helpful. They make the apartment very warm and welcoming. We had a 14 hour layover and were able to be rested and relaxed for our next flight. Hope to be back to be able to enjoy the property and the area more! Only a few blocks from public bus stop to the airport.

• Aroonwan (8/5): Cozy designed apartment at the basement - I chose this apartment because of its location. Our flight left at 7.30 AM so we had to stay nearest to the airport. We could park the rental Volkswagen caravelle just beside the apartment, very convenient. Cozy designed apartment. It was too small for 6 people who had to open every luggage to pack their belongings. Therefore we used every inch square of the apartment, to sleep, to open the luggage, to cook our last meal and to eat almost all food.

• Kedrigern (10/5): Exceptional - We have had nothing but very good accommodation throughout our stay in Iceland and this was one of the best. It's in the original house, very nice surroundings, perfect for a night before a plane trip and a shame we didn't have an extra day or two to explore the area. The whole apartment is very cosy and sensitively decorated and probably one of the few where there is also a large TV, great for a final relaxation. I'd probably just put the shower in glass :). And maybe enlarge it a bit.

It is very tastefully decorated in a traditional fashion, which makes a pleasant change from the ubiquitous Scandinavian minimalism elsewhere.
