• Oliver (9/5): Strandnahe individuell gestaltete Wohnung, Kayaks inklusive - Strand um die Ecke, insgesamt nette Wohnung mit zwei Bädern. Fühlten uns wohl und konnten die drei kostenlos überlassenen Kayaks am Strand gut nutzen. Nette Bar mit Aussenterrasse in der Nähe, Bäckerei ca. 100m. Öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze ca. 200m. Ich hatte einen Balkon/Freisitz erwartet. Der auf dem Bild abgebildete Balkon gehörte allerdings zur darüber liegenden Wohnung, nicht zur gebuchten. Fanden wir nicht wirklich problematisch, da der Strand um die Ecke liegt und eine nette Bar mit Terrasse in der Nähe ist (schliesst 21:00Uhr, sehr leise).

• Hanna (9/5): Apartament z 2 sypialniami dobry dla rodziny lub czwórki przyjaciół. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. - Miejsce z klimacikiem bazy surferów na Florydzie. Położone tuż nad oceanem, przy plaży, w sąsiedztwie licznych większych i mniejszych knajpek. Apartament z dwoma sypialniami czysty, przestronny i dobrze wyposażony, pani, która przekazała nam klucze, zarezerwowała nam taxi na lotnisko. Aż żal było wyjeżdżać.

• Pauline (10/5): Clean comfortable convenient apartment. - The location is great , close to the beach and nice cafes and restaurants in Porto Pim bay then 5 minutes to the marina and further restaurants in Horta. The sea at the beach is very shallow and you can walk far out. The apartment we stayed in was on ground floor with one room right on the road but it was not noisy. The air conditioning was effective. There is a coffee machine, microwave kettle hob and fridge. Comfortable beds. We were sorry we had no time to use the kayaks (free of charge and with life vests) Room at back is slightly dark ( little natural light) but had good electric lighting.

• mrobson (9/5): Great stay. - Good location close to the beach. Easy to talk anywhere for meals. The 3 bedroom apartment was huge and great for 2 grandparents, 2 adults and 2 kids. The free to use kayaks were a ton of fun in the ocean.

• margo (9/5): Ruime accommodatie aan het zandstrand van Porto Pim. - Mooie ligging aan het zandstrand van Porto Pim. Vriendelijk onthaal en steeds bereikbare host. Voldoende ruim voor een gezin. Gebruik van kayaks. Handdoek voor afwas absorbeerde niet goed (detail dus) en er hadden er 2 mogen zijn. Onhandig systeem van vuilbakken (hebben we op andere plaatsen op de Azoren ook gehad). Airco enkel in de leefruimte en niet in slaapkamers, waardoor het daar niet extreem koel was. Al met al dus zeer beperkte negatieve opmerkingen.

• John (2/5): Pictures are deceiving. Terrible experience. Would not recommend. - Proximity to the bay. Got there a bit early for check-in and only a cleaning woman was there who did not speak English. It is extremely hard to find - a wooden door in the wall poorly marked and parking is non-existent. Door enters into a dark basement that is not well lit - no reception area as in the photo. Had to go searching for someone to help through unlit corridors - very creepy. When I found the cleaning lady she called the host who spoke to me briefly and said that we could check in and she would be down to greet us shortly but she never showed up our entire stay there. Went up another internal labyrinth of stairs next to the laundry/utility area and the cleaning women opened the door room for me. The unit layout was like the pictures, but the lighting was terrible and we couldn't keep any of the window shades up because each window looked out into another building's/unit's window. The large window near the eating area opened to the internal stone steps so anyone walking up the steps could view you like a fish in an aquarium. There was even a large window in the front door, directly across from the bathroom door that did not have a shade, so anytime you came out of the bathroom someone could be looking right at you through that window. On top of that, the mattress on the bed was as hard as a rock, the shower had no soap holders or towel hangers, the garbage can in the bathroom was so rusted it fell apart when opened, and the host left a couple of packages of saltine crackers on a plate as a welcoming gift (?). Overall very creepy place - not at all like the pictures displayed.

• Tom (8/5): Een prettig verblijf op een prachtig eiland! - De dames die de accommodatie waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook naar de kinderen. We konden hen bellen en op haar vrije dag kwam Alessandra naar de kamer om ons helpen met iets dat het kunnen wachten tot de volgende dag. Verder is de kamer mooi en het gebouw zelf leuk ingedeeld. • Susan (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft nahe dem Strand - Tolle Unterkunft mit allem ausgestattet was nötig ist. Alles war tip top sauber und wir hatten uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Strandnähe ist super und es werden gratis Kajaks ausgeliehen, toller Service. Die Wohnung ist ebenfalls toll gelegen und man erreicht Restaurants oder auch den Supermarkt zu Fuss in kürze.

Wir waren in der Wohnung im Erdgeschoss, sehr dunkel und kaum möglichkeit zum Lüften. Als wir ankamen stand im Spülbecken noch ein gebrauchtes Glas, Küchenschubladen und -schränke machten einen schmudeligen Eindruck.

• Harrington (9/5): We only had two nights in Faial and Porto Pim Bay was the perfect spot for our stay. - The location is perfect! 2 minute walk from the harbor, so close to great restaurants, and in the middle of Port Pim. The kitchen was super useful and we loved that they compost and recycle! Alexandra was so friendly and accommodating! There was nowhere in the shower to put our toiletries... such a minor thing. We had to plug in the electric kettle from the floor... the outlet at the kitchen island was too high for the cord. Again, such a minor thing.

• Florence (8/5): Perfekte Lage - Die kleine Bucht ist sehr schön und man ist sehr schnell im Zentrum. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und es ist nett eingerichtet. Das Preis/Leitungsverhältnis ist top. Teilweise viele Gebrauchsspuren (vor allem im Bad).

The proximity to the city center and the beach is a big plus! The staff was very nice The floor was a bit dirty (sand). • Esther (10/5): Tutto perfetto! - Abbiamo soggiornato nel T3 all’ultimo piano: erano due appartamenti quindi avevamo due salotti e due cucine. Bellissime le 3 camere, da alcune finestre si poteva vedere il mare. La proprietaria (e le sue collaboratrici) gentile e disponibile tanto è che, avendoci spostato il volo a tarda sera e non avendo lei ospiti previsti per quel giorno, ci ha fatto rimanere qualche ora in più per poter far dormire le nostre figlie piccole durante il pomeriggio. Lo abbiamo davvero apprezzato. Pulizia top, letti comodi, location davanti alla spiaggia (mare molto calmo e basso per diversi metri, adatto ai bambini piccoli) e a una decina di minuti a piedi dal centro. A pochi metri dall’alloggio ci sono dei bar e ristoranti (attenzione: non si sente nessun rumore. Abbiamo dormito con le finestre aperte ed era weekend).
