• Melissa (10/5): - We spent a quick night here and the house was perfect. The location is convenient and the view is outstanding. We had everything we needed for a comfy night. The kitchen was well stocked for us to make dinner. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.
• April (8/5): Relaxing & homey! - Views and location. Everything we needed but would be nice to have local tourism info. Highway noise was loud…and a bit dangerous pulling onto the highway from the parking area
• zhenzhou (5/5): Generally this time stay was not very happy. - The sunset view was spectacular. The house was really old and the room was small and dark, the sheets wasn’t clean, the bed was not comfortable. Only one washroom in this house, for 6 of us was’t good experience.

• hongmei (9/5): Pleasant and enjoyable stay - The host replies message very quickly and in detail, the location is convenient One room upstairs has no heating vent, so we have to leave the doors open for hot air circulation and also no bathroom upstairs which is not convenient but acceptable

• Janet (5/5): Location and sunset is great, but cannot recommend - Location Older homes converted to Airbnbs always have some minor inconveniences or quirks. This house was filled with them. From the difficulty in entering the house due to the portable air conditioning unit being vented out the front door, to the malingering odor, to the sagging beds, it made the house overall uncomfortable. The bathroom has been updated, but there was minimal space for toiletries and there was only one towel bar for the hand towel, not a single other hook for a towel or your clothes while taking a shower. The electrical setups seemed to be questionable with NO outlets in the upstairs bedrooms- just an extension cord dangling from the overhead light fixture. The small appliances in the kitchen, which were too high for me to use, were plugged in to a power strip attached to the wall. Other reviews have mentioned the low countertops and sink, which surprisingly, were too low even for me. I also was surprised that the cleaning fee is so high when we were expected to wash the dishes (no dishwasher) and throw the towels in the washer. And if you stay here, be sure to bring shampoo and soap for the shower.
• Markus (9/5): Great location with beautiful sunset views - Great location, close to Cheticamp (15 minutes drive), but away from the hustle and bustle and with beautiful ocean and sunset views (weather permitting). Charming and spacious kitchen with pretty much all the utensils, pans and appliances (such as a fridge, coffee maker. etc.) one would need. Nicely renovated bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor. Very helpful and caring host (had some issues with the light fixture in one of the rooms upstairs, which was resolved the next day). Road noise can be annoying for light sleepers. Upper bedrooms could need some upgrading.

• Kaila (9/5): Had a great stay! - Great location, comfortable home with character, onsite laundry was nice to have, newly renovated bathroom, great amenities including a small BBQ and camping chairs, which came in handy. Bedrooms upstairs were warm and had to sleep with windows open; the traffic was loud. New beds upstairs would be beneficial.

• Donald (7/5): Pleasant, definitely enjoyed the sunset! - Newly refinished main floor bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen needs an update, higher counters or at least a kitchen sink at the property height. Lots of room in the kitchen to expand, new small appliances would be nice.
