Guest Reviews
- Gail (10/5): Truly a home from home. - It truly felt like a home from home. Luigi and Alison were so friendly and welcoming to our family. We regularly stay in Cardiff for medical appointments and from now on we will stay here every time. Nothing at all.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Fabulous - Communication from host: excellent.
Parking: excellent, felt safe leaving car on the driveway.
Area: Perfect. Whitchurch shops and restaurants within a very short walk and the bus stop to get into the centre of Cardiff is literally across the road
Accommodation: Immaculately clean, shower great and fabulous Egyptian cotton towels provided that I was tempted to take 🤣
Host provided a lovely complimentary welcome hamper, plus things like tea and coffee and milk are kindly provided so that people who stay short periods and forget to pack such things can have a brew immediately on arrival.
We stayed in March and It was freezing weather. It was so much appreciated that on arrival we walked into a heated up flat. A wonderful little bolthole for a Cardiff visit. In my opinion, for the money, hotels just can't compare. This provides far more comfort, space and flexibility. Will be our go to place for Cardiff rugby in future!
- Oliwia (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Gorgeous home, and very well-prepared for our stay. There was everything we could've possibly needed - teas, coffees, toiletries, the tv was working, and there was even a little welcome basket with snacks and bread. It's clear that there's a lot of love and care put into this place :) Thanks very much!
- Rachel (9/5): Great flat.we stayed a week and it was perfect - Well designed house conversion which is fitted out with good quality equipment. There is a nice living room, a good shower and a pleasant outdoor space.
Near Whitchurch village which has good amenities. Good bus and train routes into Cardiff. My partner found the double bed too soft. It was fine for me.
- Claire (9/5): Great location, close to city centre & local village. Most comfortable & fully equipped. - Everything you need was there! A lovely welcome pack of food & drinks, fully equipped kitchen, even tissues on each bedside table! Good coffee from the pod machine. Very comfy beds. Great to have a car park at the door.
- Shannon (10/5): Home away from home - It has such a homely feel, you instantly feel comfortable. A great location, close to the little row of shops and bars, and only a short taxi ride into town. Alison and Luigi went above and beyond, a cute little welcome basket, the fridge with milk in and a few beers! Plenty of blankets and everything you would ever think of needing. There wasn’t anything we disliked. Was the perfect place
- Richard (10/5): Lovely property with great facilities. The owners made every effort with lovely touches. Will definitely come back - Very clean in a great location close to bus links into city centre Nothing
- Blanca (10/5): Cute, warm, clean, well comunicated - Super perfect! I have no words to describe the fantastic welcome from these two amazing hosts, Luigi and Alison. We won’t hesitate to stay again if we ever come back to Cardiff. Truly impressive — our best booking ever. Thank you both!!!
- Gill (10/5): We had a fantastic weekend staying here. - This is the best self catering property I have stayed in. There was a welcome pack on arrival which was brilliant, the flat is very well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts were really friendly and very flexible. The location is great as easy to get to the motorway and the city centre. The flat is close to the centre of Whitchurch which has shops, cafes and restaurants.
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (9/5): Superb - We were looking for a well-placed, well-kept, quiet retreat. We found it with this property. We will definitely be returning.

- Robyn (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location and such a kind welcome! The house was warm when we entered, and the small touches, like fresh milk and bread just really set this place apart!
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was amazing, very clean very stylish, everything you needed just a home from home, our hosts were super friendly, we had a welcome basket with bread butter jam biscuits tea coffee sugar milk crisps creal, ect. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay, kitchen had everything you would need, it's a home from home. Alison and Luigi are the perfect hosts with a perfect flat. Couldn't fault a thing.
