• Brandon (6/5): Great value rental, don't expect a resort experience. - Good value rental, kind host, lots of space to enjoy and a nice two-person hot tub! Lots of options for entertainment in the house, and the patio is a great place to hang out. The house was in great need of an exterminator, we only used one of the two bedrooms because of the bugs in it at night. The air filters in all air conditioners hadn't been cleaned or changed in quite a while.

• Kale (9/5): - I love that there was a lot of extra blankets, towels, dishes ect. There was coffee! The hot tub was nice and there was alot of extra things to do, such as darts, games, corn hole. I loved the tree swing! And we found Alexander springs like 8 miles down the road! Beautiful place! No matter how much we tried we still tracked in sand, maybe a little rock where you park would be a good idea. But everything was great!
• Cindy (9/5): Quiet setting and a very clean place to stay - We had a wonderful 2 days at "Your Second Home in Florida". Very clean place and quietly set in with many mature trees. We loved it. It was perfect for what we wanted. John the owner was very gracious when I talked with him by phone. Everything was good, no complaints.

• Mina (10/5): Great stay - Comfortable home, comfortable beds. It had a good kitchen that had what we needed to cook our meals. Plenty of parking. I wish we tried the hot tub! It looked nice. The host John was welcoming and saved us when our car needed to be jumped after we’d left the car lights on overnight.
• Jilbureid (8/5): A whole house for the price of a hotel! - Loved the cute little town it was in. It was very close to the forest and springs. There is a store very close for forgotten items. The hot tub was nice to have available. The hot tub had way too much chlorine. It made our skin extremely dry and irritated. The grill struggled to get hot and never had a good flame. I'm not sure if we needed to change the tank or not, we just ended up cooking the meal in the kitchen instead.

• Linda (10/5): Comfy and convenient. Great value. - Our location was very convenient to Mount Dora and Eustis so we could enjoy the holiday lights with ease. Nice drive to our destinations. The home was very clean and beds were very comfortable. It was a great value priced comfortable home. The pictures on the listing depicted one bedroom with two beds. Upon arrival, there were only two beds total. The three bed set up would have been more convenient, but we managed. The listing probably needs to be updated with better information on sleeping accommodations. Only other issue, which I advised the homeowner was that nonslip adhesive needed to be added to the bathtub and shower floors. We had a very enjoyable stay, and I don’t think you could ask for anything with more amenities. Nice swings in the yard, dartboard, hot tub, putting Green layout, bicycle, power vehicle for kids, TVs in every room. Lots of games and DVDs for enjoyment. Perfect set up. Will be back next year if our journey takes us back to the Mount Dora to varies and Eustis area.

• Alex (8/5): We came to kayak in nearby spring, staied 2 nights and in general it was OK. - It was easy to get to the property. The owners didn't bother with waivers, copies of DLs, etc. The kitchen is very well equipped and modern. The living room is comfortable enough, as are the beds. Listing says there are 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, and another with 2 twin-size beds. Instead of 2 twin-size beds, there is a king bed. For us, it was OK, but for example, a couple with 2 teenage kids, a boy and a girl, it would be a problem. Bathrooms are really outdated! Towels and linens, while more likely to be clean, have a lot of spots which make them look dirty and definitely old and worn out.

The washer and dryer were very nice for our dirty laundry. Kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Can’t think of a thing that we didn’t like.
