Guest Reviews
- Jill (10/5): - Loo
- Lorraine (8/5): - Lovely apartment in a great location. Everything we needed It was not a clean as I would have liked. Crumbs under the settee, dusty in corners and the vacuum clean was full including the hose blocked which was disappointing
- Rebekah (5/5): Beautiful property and location, but requires a little more home comforts. - Beautifully decorated and in a stunning location. Only 1 small thin pillow each and very firm mattress. Shower would not stay hot, ran cold every few mins.
- Gary Hewitt (10/5): - Great location, everything within walking distance.Advantage having a train station near, able to see more of Cornwall.
- Susan (10/5): Perfect! - Location is perfect, close to everything in town but quiet and peaceful. Great spot to explore the beautiful surrounding areas.
- Parsley (10/5): Exceptional - Right in centre of Lostwithiel Steps up to property more steep than expected, but fine for us.
- Leanne (8/5): Good location for visiting different areas of cornwall - The flat is in a good location for visiting the different areas of Cornwall. The decor is nice, modern and comfortable. There is parking, at the other end of the road. The washing machine and heating came in handy. Folder provided with information in. It does have a TV with a fire stick. Good shower. Good WiFi. Outdoor patio area. The flat on a whole could benefit from a good deep clean.
Noisy neighbour from the back of the bedroom, music blaring of an evening/night and just general noise (not properties fault).
Could do with a small clothes rail in the single room, and some extra pillows. The bed sheet on the double bed has had it's time.
The gold locks on the front door are temperamental, one is upside down so comes undone, the round one, the lock falls off when turned.
- Richard (5/5): Underwhelmed given the price - Beds very comfortable A little tired. Lots of old nicnacks, some crockery chipped
Outside area needs tidying up
No TV, extremely old radio cassette player almost impossible to tune in.
- Pam (9/5): Good location for South West England b - Quirky, compact and great location, for exploring south west. Parking was a little tricky (but free and available)
- Lee (8/5): Very good - The apartment was a good size and a homely feel Could have used a TV that picked up channels and not just play dvd and could use a microwave
Sofa is getting to the stage of needing to be replaced
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Affordable little gem in the centre of Lostwithiel - Great position in the centre of Lostwithiel but in a tucked away location, generally very quiet and peaceful. The flat was clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable few days. Mattress was a little on the hard side for our liking and could have done with extra pillows.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- Lorraine (10/5): Lovely little place, will def be going again! - The position, the layout, pretty much everything ..... Such a lovely place, really recommend. Nothing really, but feel the need to point out it's feather pillows, which being asthmatic and having a feather allergy, wasn't good for me, so we bought some (which we needed at home anyway, so no real problem there.)
Just thought I'd point it out incase others are in the same boat....
- Colin (8/5): Very good - Great little place.ideal for exploring this part of Cornwall. Lostwithiel is charming. Description of property is accurate and you know what to expect. Nothing all good.
- Rhydian (10/5): Handy little hideaway. - Right in the middle of the village close to the local store and the pubs. Allocated parking which is always handy. Really spacious apartment, plenty of utensils on hand. A good base to dump the car then catch one of the frequent trains to somewhere for the day. Nothing. Not that this bothered us but the TV is quite old and I'm not sure if it gets any kind of signal or if it's just for watching dvds. Again this didn't bother us but if you're someone that likes to watch TV something to bear in mind.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - This is why Booking.com works so well is because of properties like this. It was just as it appeared in the description and pictures. Everything worked great and was really clean.
- Carol (10/5): excellent location & very friendly & interesting area, also good transport links if you don’t use a car. - Excellent location nothing
