Lisa (10/5): Great relaxing place with the best view ever ! - This weekend trip was for me , my sisters and mom .. we had an amazing time and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed . Warren (6/5): An unusual experience - porch and view and the size of the unit... The pictures are deceiving as to what the unit looks like. For example, even though it shows a kitchen it doesn't have a kitchen sink. it suggests that the rooms are different than they are the main room as both the main beds and the kitchen living room. The pool while private is adjacent to the room and as a result there is a chlorine smell all the time. Even with the doors closed. Aso to call it heated is a little bit of an overstatement. While there is a sauna, they wanted an extra price of $50 a day for it which is ridiculous, citing energy costs. Anyways, as a result we never used it. The owners do try to accommodate the issues but everything is poorly set up. The property itself has a waterfront dock which is on a very rickety staircase 50 ft below the main property. Once again this is difficult to tell from the advertising and it is a very tiny dock when you're there with their equipment. Although a canoe is provided there are complications in actually using it because of the height of the dock to the water. As such, I would not recommend this for young children. So what I would say is this for the price that is being charged of over $400 a day is outrageous given the state of the property. In saying this, I do not suggest that it wouldn't be suitable for some people a family.use for example, as we didn't use all the room that was available, there is for example a smaller bedroom for one, adjacent to the pool. We only used that for our clothes. I'll leave it at that and you can make your own decisions whether it's suitable for you.
