Guest Reviews
- Gennasi (8/5): - Corte tranquilla, appartamento comodo e funzionale
- Chiara (8/5): -
- Abdullaev (10/5): -
- Marisa (6/5): -
- Sanchez (8/5): Casi perfecto - El lugar super lindo y la ubicación, no muy lejos del centro y fácil de llegar con el transporte publico No había prácticamente agua caliente para bañarse
- Vladyslav (7/5): -
- Szyt (5/5): Następnym razem zabierzcie ze sobą kawę, herbatę, cukier i filizanki. - Łatwy dojazd do centrum. Obiekt jakby industrialny przerobiony z jakiegoś przemysłowych pomieszczeń , wyposażenie bardzo kiepskie i słabej jakości. Łazienka szerokości 1m i z pleśnią. Aneks kuchenny niczym z kuchni dworcowej. Kilka szklanek i kilka talerzy i sztućce do tego bieda i tyle.
- Liubov (4/5): Better avoid this property - The property itself is quite unique and could have been a nice place to stay. It has high seilings and a lot of space. Digital lock system is very convenient and worked well for us. The location is not convenien to reach the monuments, but there are many restaurants and bars around. Everything was just terrible. One of the air conditioners wasn’t working, there was no hot water, we didn’t have any cups to make coffee, and there were no blankets to cover ourselves. The kitchen was so old and in such poor condition that it was disgusting even to touch it.
There was no sound insulation from the street, so we could hear every person arriving in the yard, talking and laughing — we basically couldn’t sleep at all for two nights.
I would never call this a rental property suitable for guests, especially at this price. It should be properly maintained, and everything that is broken must be fixed. It feels like the owner is trying to make money without making any investment.
- George (8/5): It could have been better - The virtual key system is great. The property is located close to Rome Termini, restaurants, shops and public transport. The internet connection is very good. Generally speaking, the property offers everything needed for this type of accommodation. The built up mould in the bathroom (even if the place is generally clean), the water leak around the toilet bowl, not working TV remote control and the feeling that you trade a slightly cheaper price for a minimum maintained accommodation are the minuses of this property.
- Stanisław (10/5): Best place to stay outside of the very center - Very spacious. We booked for two people and we felt it would comfortably accommodate two or three more if needed! The bathroom is bigger than it looks in the pictures, we had no issues with it being narrow.
The apartment had all the amenities we needed and some more. Good amount of bedding and extra pillows. Plates, glasses and a table saved some of our stay in Rome – it was raining heavily so we had to stay in. We were SO happy we did not book some small hotel room elsewhere!
The building and patio is very charming, we had our door open most of the day as there are no see-through windows (hope we did not disturb the neighbours!). You open the door through a website – very convenient.
The location is good enough, not far from the main train station. Buses from a nearby stop go to all tourist attractions in Rome.
The neighborhood is lively and full of local, young people in bars late at night even during the week. San Lorenzo does not look welcoming at first sight, but we felt safe – e.g. the amount of LGBT+ flags in windows suggests it's not a seedy area. For a rainy day there's a nice little cafe on the piazza and a great restaurant right next to it. The AC in one of the rooms is finicky and often does not turn on. It wasn't a huge issue as it wasn't that hot outside. We could also use some wine glasses. Maybe the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. All in all – no huge complaints.
The temperature of the water in the shower is hard to adjust, but that is understandable with plumbing in such buildings. Just be careful with hot water :)
- Mario (9/5): Your jump into shabby-chic Rome. - The place is a bizarre studio apartment obtained from the refurbishment of what I think was a courtyard warehouse back in the days. It is a strange place but very charming, and it has everything: a bedroom, a living room with sofa, table, chairs and kitchenette, a bathroom with shower. Located in the heart of San Lorenzo, the hippest, the most artsy, and the most shabby chic part of Rome. The restaurant on the square is a delight. Given the particular nature of the apartment, you don't have any real windows, since they are all made opaque for privacy reasons. The apartment could use more plates, more cutlery, and definitely a couple of mugs/tea cups are missing.
- Elena-raluca (10/5): Wonderful location! - The apartment was comfortable with everything one would need. The location had good restaurants and great attractions nearby!
The host was very helpful and informative with suggestions of where to eat and what to see.
- Meg (5/5): Passable - Spacious but looks dirty in the inside except for the second floor. The toilet is very close to the sink hence you will always hit your knee every time you use the toilet. When we checked in the soiled linens/towels are still in the room, they said they will take it out but they did not.
There’s no kettle for when you want to make coffee in the morning. The area is very busy, traffic when you get out, loud horns and sirens all the time.
Restaurants and markets are very close tho.
- Giedrė (9/5): Recomend - Nice service, beutiful yard, nice spacious and clean rooms, there were few towels, shampoos TV did not work
- Brândușa (9/5): Cozy apartment - - Good location, close to city center.
- The facilities.
- Spacious apartment.
- The new entrance system that doesn’t need a key, the doors are opening from the phone.
- Supermarket very close and also a lot of bars and restaurants in the area.
- Nice neighbourhood. - In the pictures there appeares like they are more than 1 room and bathroom, we didn’t need them but for sure it’s confusing.
- They changed the entrance system in our last day, it was a bit strange to let the apartment open for the workers so that they can change the door knob, but it was fine in the end.
- The towels were kind of dirty.
- Adach (8/5): Unique - Staff went over and above to help us. On Daniel 's recommendation, we stayed in this out of the way neighbourhood by the university and were rewarded with great food, wine, and an eclectic vibe. Note: the restaurant across the street was in Stanley Tucci's Italy (season one - Rome episode) Dark interior in apartment. A little fresh air would make it more comfortable.
- Tony (10/5): Great place to stay - quirky apartment in a secure quiet block. Small kitchen with fridge and cooker that was adequate
- Noémi (8/5): Very good -
