Guest Reviews
- Harry (10/5): -
- Marie (8/5): Comfortable and clean - Clean and tidy There was a strong smell weed, not sure if it was previous occupants or from the flat downstairs
- Archie (1/5): - There was ants all in the kitchen and the floor was all wonky
- Funmilola (9/5): - The neatness and spacious rooms
- Ahmed (7/5): Good value for money, good for family, location not too bad. - Good location, good value for money.
- Phiri (8/5): Short stay - The location if the property is great, close to the local shops. The property itself was nice and clean and of good size good value for money my 2 nights stay was a good one. My wife and kid loved it. I would definitely come again. Not that I didn't like it because its the way it is if you have small kids keep an eye on the outside stairs that leads to the property
- 張秀霞 (9/5): -
- Ieva (7/5): Well priced place for family stay - Convenient location with good transport links to town. Shop right opposite and lots of places to eat. Spacious rooms. Mattresses a bit too soft and bouncy for our liking.
- Rhian (8/5): - Clean and comfortable Road noise and the stairs up to the flat
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Emma (10/5): Hidden gem in Bournemouth - Great size and can easily accommodate 4 adults comfortably. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Beds were clean and comfortable, and the place smelt lovely when you went in. Bright rooms thanks to lots of windows and the apartment is a fantastic size. Separate dining area is a huge plus. There is no outside space to sit in, but not really a hardship if you just need somewhere comfortable to stay during you visit to Bournemouth.
- Zara (7/5): Good value for money, but attention to some details needed. - It is a very convenient location for us, clean and spacious. For what you pay it is good value for money. Needs a lock from the inside or 2 keys.
The washing machine didn't work.
The radiators in the living room and bigger bedroom didn't work and no thermostat to change/turn up.
Could do with chopping boards
- Chloe (10/5): It was amazing - The property was stunning Everything was good
- Murielle (8/5): - Very spacious, nice lounge, coop just across the road, great value for money Very basic equipment/utensils in the kitchen
- Chantelle (6/5): -
- Kevin (2/5): Poor management - It was big & good value The heating didn't work properly
The washing machine didn't work
& the smoke & c/monoxide alarm in the kitchen
Wasn't in its housing nor was it wired up in the ceiling .
And the back window was broken once it was opened it wasn't possible shut again because the arms were broken
I made them aware of the situations b4 I left but nobody contacted me before I left.
When they did contact me I was told I wasn't allowed to stay at that property or any of her other properties which was which ones they are but she never provided me with that information
- ivan (10/5): - The flat is amazing it's a credit to ownerd Nothing
- William (7/5): Apartment was nice - Very spacious No heating in the living room or the main bedroom.also we’re an elderly couple and the stairs to the apartment where very steep.and on entering the apartment there was a smell of weed .also the kitchen window needs attention
- Kelvin (10/5): Would use again - Metal stair access was difficult in the rain, especially as we were elderly
- Jeni (10/5): A lovely short stay! - Surprisingly spacey! Really good condition! Had all we needed for our stay! The coffee and biscuits were the best touch! Stairs leading up to property were like cast iron and had holes like a grate, arrived in heels so had to take them off! Can’t be helped but was only thing I didn’t like but now I know for next time!
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Sherralyne (7/5): -
- Rita (5/5): Satisfactory - It was pretty close to where we needed to be. The carpets were extremely filthy.
- Jason (10/5): - Lovely apartment. Very comfortable and clean.
- Maya Marie (10/5): - Host was lovely apartment was on point as always x
- Lexi (8/5): - Space was good , easy to use instructions . Clean and comfortable Smell of smoke in the living room , must be from previous people staying and smoking inside . One half roll of toilet paper for the duration of the stay
- Brittany (7/5): -
- Ross (10/5): Lovely apartment 10/10 - Everything Nothing
- Nick (7/5): Great location, spacious for family with all amenities needed - Good spacious property. Perfect for kids to have own room rather than sharing hotel room. Nice lounge space and kitchen facilities. Little tricky to find, steps up are steep, couldn’t get temperate right on shower
- Karen (8/5): - It was spacious, clean and very modern inside and cosy, with a huge television, comfortable beds and very very clean. Tea and coffee facilities. Parking for one car and toiletries including shower gel and shampoo. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The only downside was that the rainfall shower temperature adjustment wouldn't work very well which resulted in a very hot shower. Otherwise all was good and well recommended. would return !
- Ruth (7/5): Pleasant useful base for weekend but wouldn’t want to stay longer - Location was good. Buses, local shops and takeaways easily accessible Quite impersonal- saggy mattresses- felt it needed an update?
- Natashagauntlett (8/5): - A nice modern apartment and esay to access The checkout is too early
- Paula (8/5): - Property was comfortable and clean. The hosts were very efficient and accomodating when we had a couple of queries.
- SUSAN (9/5): Ideal location for the purpose of our trip. - Extremely clean property . Well furnished and spacious .
- william (10/5): - Great apartment.
Fully equipped.
Super clean.
Comfortable beds.
Excellent WiFi
Easy access to Bournemouth. The main shower lacked power.
- Paul (10/5): -
- ivan (10/5): - Everything about the place it was amazing Only one negative was staircase to flat was bit steep
- Lewis (7/5): - Lots of space. Comfy. Easy to check in(key safe) Main shower head was stuck on maximum temperature. The floor was very uneven. I also have never booked somewhere that expect you to empty the bins and remove the bed sheets.
- mark (10/5): -
- Vicky (7/5): Comfortable, clean, cheap & cheerful! - Incredibly easy to get in using the lock box, super affordable, nice and clean, location was good for what we needed. Have a proper kitchen that was fairly well stocked was a bonus. Lots of space and a cosy sitting room. Wonky floor 😂 the whole apartment feels like it's slightly listing to the side which was a little unnerving. Way too much fabric softener used on the bedding which I found really overpowering although it didn't seem to bother the others as much as me.
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Asutosh (9/5): -
- Kaelah (10/5): Couldn’t fault the apartment at all! Amazing location and facilities will definitely be staying again!! - Very spacious, great location and very clean!
- Tamas (10/5): -
- Natalie (7/5): -
- Ekuri (10/5): -
- James (10/5): -
- Irfan (8/5): - Cleanliness, space, comfortable No wastebin in toilet, powerplug of masterbed right side not working.
- Family of 4travellers (10/5): Great place for families with children! - Clean and comfy. It was a bit weird that they ask you to strip out your bedding and put it on the floor. We've been to many houses and flats and this was never demand by us. We always throw away our rubbish and wash our dishes.
- Santosh (10/5): -
- Nadiah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Jeniece (8/5): Nice Apartment - Convenient parking
Nice residential area
The advertising pictures are true and the apartment is nice and modern. Room sizes are really spacious.
Fan in living room and main bedroom
Living room is very comfortable. Nice size TV, we brought our PlayStation for entertainment in the evenings. I tuned the channels to get normal tv programmes which was all fine.
Bed was very comfortable, slept great
Kitchen had utensils, pots, pans, cleaning products, decent size fridge. A few sachets of tea, coffee and milk provided
Was able to store shopping items in cupboard and make breakfast and lunch. Nice dining table to sit and eat
Wimbourne road is very long and has shops such as co op across the road. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lidl, fish and chips shops, Greg's, KFC, Superdrug, Holland and Barret all a short drive down the road. 3-5 mins
Approximately 15 min drive to beach
I requested a 12pm check out the night before check out and it was kindly granted. It is definitely a home from home and we had an enjoyable stay Place is modern but doesn't hide the fact that all the surfaces could use a good wipe down. Maybe me being a bit OCD.. Lots of finger smudges on tv, bedside tables needed a wipe, kitchen surfaces need a wipe. Fridge needed a wipe. Kitchen surfaces needed a wipe. Coffee and tea mugs had staines from being unwashed
Oven and oven tray need a clean
No toilet brush
No broom in kitchen to sweep up
No spatula as part of the utensils
The pots and pans need updating
There is 1 bin in kitchen and small bin in toilet, a small bin in the living room would be practical
One of the bedside plugs in main bedroom doesn't work (previous reviews show has not worked for a while)
Stairs to apartment quite steep. Very scary when dark or raining
Windows in main bedroom are badly stained from the outside. Can barely see out of them
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good but we were unlucky with weather as it was so hot and apartment got very hot with no air coming in. Thankfull - Plenty of space and clean. The outside steps to reach the entrance door.
- David (9/5): Superb - Nice spacious property
- Lara (8/5): Great value for money - Really spacious apartment on the high street. Shops are within walking distance. Good WiFi. Comfortable beds. Fans were provided as it was summer so that was appreciated. Washing machine was a great addition for after the beach (just pack own washing powder). Really happy that we could park right at the entrance. Bedrooms are facing the high street so keeping windows open at night (July) wasn't an option. The kitchen cutlery and crockery were really cheap, old, used. Would have appreciated a better pan and a spatula, but I do understand why this is kept very basic. Our 10 month old had fun crawling around the apartment but his hands and feet would get really dirty from dragging them along the carpet.
- Mayka (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend or go back - Central, space for the car Mattresses were literally horrible, the 3 of them. I have pictures of how deep the holes are on them.
The sofa looks dirty and dusty. Furniture doesn’t get moved for hoovering/dusting. The kitchen was full of ants.
- Essen (10/5): Definately worth the stay for the price and location. Recommend this stay to all. - Parking was good and location was also good. Only 17 minutes drive to the beach. What I like best was the price. Very good value for money and definitely worth it as it was spacious. Sitting on the sofa felt like sitting on the floor as I sank into it and struggled to get out lol.
- Yemi (8/5): Very good - The apartment was very clean and welcoming. There was a local Co - op which was nice to pick up the odd stuff. It was very hot however fans were made available.
- Sarah (10/5): Superb !!! - Convenience to where we needed to be.
Super large property and at an affordable price.
Great communication from the staff, and brilliant directions.
Thank you for an amazing stay, we would have liked to stay longer.
- Goulbourne (4/5): Mediocre - It was located on a high street close to shops and restaurants Ants in kitchen and dining area
Place had a dingy feel
Bed wasn’t particularly comfortable
Main shower SCOLDING hot and no one could use it.
- Alexander (6/5): Great value for money but the ants are a big problem as it limits the whole point of wanting a kitchen area. - Property is great value for money, has good space and is comfortable.
Living area allows for family to relax and have accessibility to the internet and a wide screen Tv. The property has a bad case of ants in the kitchen area, even after cleaning with products provided everytime you enter the kitchen you will find ants crawling across the surfaces.
Also the shower bar thermostat valve is not working correctly and can cause you to scold yourself if not careful.
- Helen (7/5): Lovely place good location lots of buses , needs blackout blinds in bedrooms ants in kitchen - Very spacious , good for a family Had a problem with ants in the kitchen as shown in photos, very bright in the bedrooms early morning, shower was very hot couldn’t adjust temperature
- Brewster (3/5): ONE NIGHT WAS ENOUGH- NOT CLEAN - I like the decorations throughout the apartment, nice homely feel It is not clean in a lot of places throughout the apartment. There was a dead fly on the duvet cover of the single beds- this room is definitely not used often enough. I left the dead fly corpse on the drawers in the bedroom to show the cleaner what they had missed- I hope they would have checked this room thoroughly enough to find this already. Liquid stains down the bedside cabinet of the spare room also. The bed headboards were thick with dust. The living room still had stains on the cabinet below the TV. The bathroom has toothpaste splatters of every occupant who has ever stayed in this apartment, on the blinds which is directly above the sink. Stains in and around the bathtub. There is a small mould beginning in the bathroom too. The walls are very thin between the neighbours too, you can hear them talking as if they were in the same apartment- wasn’t pleasant trying to fall asleep at 1:30am with chattering neighbours. One night was enough. Wanted to shower after staying here. It looked lovely on first arrival, like a nice little home, but the horror which followed the rest of the evening has really upset me.
- Rai (8/5): Very good - It was clean
- Nahidur (8/5): Very good -
- Karl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (9/5): Worth every penny - The apartment is very spacious and clean. It has all you need for a comfortable stay. We all said we would definitely be booking again. The added bonus is it's a quick journey to the airport from there as well.
- Roland (6/5): Pleasant - Location Beds not comfy and not the cleanest
- John (8/5): Worth a look for the money nice stay at Bournemouth - Free WiFi , heating good , big rooms , quiet location, free parking The access stairs quite steep , the bed springs are noisy , the bedside power socket wasn’t working , the washing machine was very noisy overall facilities better than the norm lovely and clean plenty of towels
- William (10/5): Presently surprised at the size of the flat - Excellent location and very clean and tidy Shower temp adjustment a poor
- Ravpreet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Superb - Parking close by everything you needed good clean and roomy apartment
- Ruby (10/5): Amazing - It’s amazing for the price it’s comfortable feels like your at home The neighbours downstairs and extremely rude it was my birthday we where playing some music and it was loud and the neighbours came upstairs recording and having ago at us but we ignored them and carried on having fun at around half 10-11 we where in bed
- Philip (9/5): A comfortable, convenient apartment just outside of Bournemouth. - The flat is located just behind a run of shops on the Wimborne Road. The host sent detailed instructions that enabled us to find the flat with no issues. The keys were in a lockbox and the code communicated two days previous; there was also parking available.
The flat itself was spotless, with all the facilities you'd expect. It was comfortable, warm, and well furnished. It's a little out of Bournemouth, but good for people willing to take a short drive or public transport, and it's out of the way enough that it's quieter than your average city centre apartment. Only a minor point, really. I don't know if the boiler was simply set too hot, but the shower offered two choices - scalding or freezing. There was, however, a mixer shower at the opposite end of the bath, but it's something that the hosts could look at for the future. Otherwise, it was everything we needed.
- Una (7/5): Good space, nice and warm and cosy - Good space, quite and parking Living room smelled of smoke but this may have been previous guests, cleaners had opened all windows to help before we arrived
- Rihab (9/5): We enjoy the stay and the city as first time to visit Bournemouth - Clean tidy quit meet our expectatiion. Sorry The mattress are not comfortable at all this is the only negative point but the rest are very good. clean and tidy.
- Mark (1/5): Shocking - i’d like to make this a formal complaint. - Location good, spacious and clean Bed mattress where beyond repair and had the worst sleep ever. Springs completely gone, they are super thin so you feel the board when sit or if turn. Partner had sharp spring sticking in back all night. The sofa was in same state - thin and unbearable to sit on. This place should not be allowed to be listed on here - people book an apartment for a good nights sleep and the larger space (i.e. lounge area which was unusable due to sofas). Avoid.
- Pelzer-smith (7/5): Good - Lovely flat
- Tomasz (8/5): Very good -
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (6/5): Pleasant - The place was clean & tidy. Property - difficult to find & not easy to park.
Mattresses are dreadful & desperately need replacing.
Neighbours below bang on the ceiling if you walk about
Access is up a fire escape!
- Shez2018 (7/5): Good -
- Gould (1/5): AVOID AVOID AVOID - Spacious. Where do I start?
We had issues with the property on the first night of our stay. The property is located above someone who lives below. The floorboards are super old and creaky. The resident from below came banging on our door at 9.30 at night saying he could hear everything because the floors were so bad and thin and if we could be lighter on our feet. Obviously this put us on edge for the rest of the night. My daughter is 3 and obviously doesn’t like to sit still. How can you enjoy a holiday where you feel like you can’t walk around in your own place because the floors creak with every step. As decent people we didn’t want to upset the neighbor anymore so felt like we had no choice but to leave. It wouldn’t have been enjoyable for us to stay for a whole week. I reached out to the owner Kerry on 2 occasions to be completely ignored. Not once did she care or try to advise us. It’s rude! Took it up with customer services to try and get a refund for the 3 nights we weren’t there but Kerry refused and said the floors weren’t old or creaky .. even though I have video evidence of this too! Not many families have spare money to be able to go away for a week so I hope she sleeps better knowing this. Therefore don’t use this accommodation if you have young children who like to be on their feet.
To add - the carpets weren’t clean, I walked bare foot and had matted hair stuck to my feet. Shower doesn’t work properly. There’s a big hole in the back of the sofa and the sofa feels like a brick to sit on. Also the plug socket doesn’t work one side of the bed in the main room. Opened packets of coffee sachets in the kitchen.
- Clare (8/5): Very good - Spacious, clean, good provision for a self catering property such as washing up liquid and cleaning products. Stairs were very steep and it was raining so held tight to the handrail!
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely spacious apartment, very clean and working facilities. perfect for the 4 of us. would definitely stay again. 15 min uber to the town centre.
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent place, I recommend
- Parmjit (9/5): Superb -
- Darren (10/5): Highly recommended - Lots of space and excellent location
- Giulia (8/5): Family trip on the Jurassic Coast - I like the size of the apartment, really spacious.
We loved the living room, where we could watch a movie all together.
The kitchen is also fully equipped, but we didn't have the chance to cook. The parking outside is a bit small and Bournemouth centre cannot be reached by walk
- Frilly (5/5): Passable - The apartment was clean and a good location Me and partner went to Bournemouth to get a bit of us time before our baby arrives in November. The plan was to rest as much as possible, but this wasn't possible for us at all , as the bed was uncomfortable and the sofa was rock hard , we left a day early just so we could sleep . We hardly slept , lovely apartment but the bed is really uncomfortable and the sofa is rock hard . We didn't get much rest at all.
- Sekhon (7/5): Good - The flat is very spacious and peaceful
Even the bedrooms are on the main road. Not bad The location and the size. Suitable for a family of 4
It is upstairs, not suitable for elderly and disabled person. Metal stairs going up
- Julie (9/5): Superb - Great location for us with a 5 year old. By a large park. Easy parking by the flat. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen was not completely equipped for our needs as a family but was OK if you don't need to cook much.
- Amit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (9/5): Superb - Lovely spacious rooms. Decor was modern Hole in the back of the sofa. Steep stairs at the entrance.
- Lee (5/5): Just about adequate. - The property was clean. The parking was against some over flowing bins which made it tight. Plug socket to the left of bed in main room weren’t working. Part of the floor in the kitchen felt like it had given way. Couldn’t see any fire detection, Could be wrong but should be at least a couple of domestic smoke alarms. Closed windows due to noise on the high street but one of the fans was broken so had to leave it open.
- Stella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (7/5): Comfortable - The space was clean and huge. Liked the layout and the beds/seats were comfortable.
A lot of facilities in surrounding area, which was perfect. Only 5 miles from centre of city. neutral colours for decoration, making it easy to relax.
Liked the fact the keys were easy to get and did not have to talk to anyone as I was very tired from driving. The list of things we could not do, I am guessing they have had bad customers before.
However the fact there was no milk, old coffee & tea (open &stale) was not the greatest welcoming after driving 5 hrs.
The sofa has a MASSIVE hole in the back, which they covered with cushions. The bedside light in little room didn't work. The plug socket on left side of bed in main room didn't work & only a fan for 1 room. We spent most of our stay wondering if we would get charged for all this old damage. All annoying but we still had a lovely time.
