• LAETITIA (10/5): - Nous avons adoré l'ensemble du riad : la beauté du lieu entre traditions et modernité, la propreté, l'ambiance, les repas très copieux et délicieux, l'ensemble des services proposés. Le riad est idéalement situé pour se déplacer dans la Médina. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la délicieuse cuisine de Sana et sa gentillesse et toutes ses attentions. J'ai adoré le professionnalisme de Omar, sa disponibilité, sa réactivité, ses conseils mais également sa gentillesse. Omar et Sana ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable et inoubliable. • Dani (10/5): A fabulous choice for riad accommodation in the medina - hidden away and very peaceful. - Riad Dar Asam is a peaceful and quiet oasis in the centre of the Marrakech medina. We stayed in many properties during our 4 weeks in Morocco and this was by far the best. It stood out in terms of comfort, style and finish. A very comfortable bed, good sized room, lovely bathroom. It was a joy to stay here. Omar and Sana are very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. There was plenty of communication before we arrived so that we could be met and escorted to the riad as it is in a tiny lane that is inaccessible for cars. We had a very early flight when we were leaving and Omar got up at 3:30am to assist us with our bags and make sure our driver arrived on time. Breakfast was delightful and we also requested to have dinner at the riad on our last night. We were served beautiful salads, tajines and brownies with icecream for dessert (see the photos). All was prepared especially for us and served upstairs on the rooftop terrace. The riad is very beautifully styled and everything has been carefully considered. We had a ground floor room opening out to the reception/interior courtyard area. Another guest was smoking in the courtyard and the smoke was drifting into our room. It would be great if smoking was not allowed in this area. Smokers can always use the rooftop terrace.

• Antonio (8/5): Bel soggiorno - nel complesso l’esperienza è stata molto positiva. La struttura è bella, curata e con un’atmosfera autentica che ti fa vivere davvero Marrakech. Anche lo staff è stato sempre gentile e disponibile: una menzione speciale per Omar, davvero accogliente e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Una mattina, nonostante l’orario anticipato, ci ha comunque preparato un caffè prima della colazione, gesto molto apprezzato. Un piccolo appunto riguarda le dimensioni: dalle foto la struttura sembra più grande rispetto a quanto sia in realtà, ma questo non ha compromesso la qualità del soggiorno. Da considerare anche la posizione: la stradina per raggiungere il riad non è delle più comode e, se si arriva in taxi dall’aeroporto, è necessario fare comunque circa 10 minuti a piedi. Inoltre, se si hanno escursioni organizzate, non è comodissima perché i transfer non passano davanti alla struttura e bisogna spostarsi a piedi fino a un punto di incontro. L’unico vero aspetto da migliorare è l’orario della colazione: viene servita a partire dalle 8:30, che risulta un po’ tardi soprattutto se si hanno tour organizzati con pick-up alle 7:00–7:30. In questi casi si rischia di non riuscire a usufruirne.

• Eric (9/5): Superbe riad, un personnel agréable et disponible, des repas copieux et délicieux - Nous avons séjourné cinq nuits au Riad Asam. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au sein de ce Riad alliant modernité et tradition. Sana et Omar nous ont accueilli avec leur gentillesse et leur sourire. Ils sont tous les deux, adorables, très serviables et toujours disponibles pour donner plein de précieux conseils. Suites spacieuses équipées d’une très bonne literie, de belles salles de bain en tadelakt, et l’ensemble d’une propreté irréprochable. Les petits déjeuners, à la fois variés et très copieux, sont servis sur une très agréable terrasse en rooftop, avec une magnifique vue sur la Koutoubia. Nous avons eu l’occasion de prendre deux diners préparés par Sana et servis par Omar. Les deux diners étaient à la fois très copieux et excellents (à tester sans modération). Le Riad est idéalement placé, à la fois proche des principaux centres d’intérêt (moins de 5 minutes à pied de la place des épices) et en même temps situé dans un environnement très calme, ce qui est appréciable après le tumulte de la médina. En synthèse, c’est le troisième riad dans lequel nous séjournons, et sans aucun doute, lors de notre prochain séjour, nous réserverons de nouveau au Riad Dar Asam . A tester sans aucune réserve. Consigliamo di provare la cucina di Sana la migliore cucina di tutta Marrakech. Decosmo (9/5): Bel Riad in una posizione perfetta - Il riad ha una posizione perfetta nella Medina, a 12 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale, e 1 minuto da una via trafficata con negozi, ma in una via defilata lontana dal rumore. La struttura è pulita e ha tutto ciò che serve. La colazione è molto buona e la cena era davvero buonissima! Omar e Sana sono persone molto gentili e super disponibili. Il wi-fi non prendeva molto bene nella nostra camera (la più grande)

I asked if they would give me a bigger room as mine was very small and a bit tired. They told me I could only have the room i had paid for which I thought was very mean. The other rooms did not show up on the booking website anyway. Also on the website they were saying the normal price was double what I was paying so I assumed at that price I’d be staying somewhere like Riad Sakkan I’d stayed at before and which was fabulous and the same price they purported the original room price was.

• Reham (9/5): Excellent stay with great staff - 1-The location of the Riad is very central. 15 min walk to the main square where you pass by the markets. 2- Place is quite, the few days I stayed there we were only 2 guests so very quite and peaceful. 3- They have small nice rooftop where you can enjoy breakfast or some warmth and sunshine during the day. 4- Sana and Omar are really great. They are very helpful, kind and nice. 5- Sana is an excellent cook, I asked her to cook me dinner every night and I do not regret it. Homemade Moroccan food. 2-3 appetizers, main dish and dessert for 25 euro. 6- I asked the Riad to arrange my pickup from the airport which was very smooth and Sanna was waiting me at the parking lot to take me to the Riad. It was a good arrangement to avoid getting lost in those winding streets. 7- Breakfast: typical Moroccan breakfast: bread, omelette, cheese, butter and jam. It was good and filled me enough to lunch time. Nothing at all, I enjoyed my stay.

Abbiamo cenato due volte nel riad e Sana è un’ottima cuoca ho mangiato il tajine più buono di tutta Marrakesh . Le camere sono spaziose pulite ed essendoci stati a dicembre hanno anche l’aria condizionata che le riscalda. Se posso dare un consiglio dove si fa colazione e la cena è il patio del riad dovrebbe essere in qualche modo riscaldato perché è un po’ freddo quando si mangia

El desayuno muy completo y muy rico y energías de sobra para el resto del día. La ubicación es complicada de encontrar y si se hace de noche puede ser un poco peligroso, ya que las calles son muy estrechas y laberínticas.

The location is great, and I did not have any problems with getting there and to other places in the Medina with Google maps. Omar organized our transfer to the railway station by car, which was very convenient. I would suggest including more unsweet food in the breakfasts.h

Les chambres étaient spacieuses, la literie super confortable, très belle salle de bain, le tout décoré avec goût et très propre. Petits-déjeuners excellents, tous différents lors de notre séjour de trois nuits, pris en terrasse, un régal. Nous avons aussi goûter aux talents culinaires de Sana, un repas complet, typiquement marocain, qui reste l'un des meilleurs repas pris à Marrakesh. Omar nous a donné de précieux conseils, toujours souriant et serviable. Il s'est même levé aux aurores pour nous préparer le petit déjeuner un matin. Nous avons surtout croisé Omar, vu nos horaires, mais toute l'équipe était magnifique et a su donné une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale à ce lieu magique.

A reggeli és a vacsora is nagyon finom volt, a szállás csendes, barátságos és modern. A szállás által foglalt taxi nagyon jó volt. Teljesen biztonságban éreztük magunkat, mondjuk a városban sem volt semmi probléma, nagyon kedvesek a helyi emberek is, csak jó emlékekkel tértünk haza. Nem volt. 🙂

Deux personnes professionnelles, disponibles, d’une gentillesse incomparable. Riad pas facile d’accès les taxis vous laissent à la place jemaa el fna c’est à 1,5 kms. Cependant les taxis privés du Riad bien qu’un peu chers vous rapprochent du Riad à 4 mn, à l’arrivée même tardivement une personne du Riad vient vous accueillir ça c’est très bien. Nous avons été un peu surpris de la promiscuité dans le Riad mais c’est aussi la configuration classique de ces habitations singulières.

Das Personal Omar und Sana waren hilfsbereit. Sana ist eine exzellente Köchin und hat täglich frische Gerichte zubereitet. Die Lage mit den schmalen und dunklen Gassen etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig

• Grant (7/5): Good - Great location. First impression wasn't great with it hard to find down an alleyway, but once you learnt the route very easy and good location.. Staff were great. Saw some of the riads while in Marrakech. This is more of a guest house.
• Malcolm (9/5): A delightful Riad - It's a little difficult to find but Google maps brought us straight here. The Riyadh is clean, the staff is delightful, the bed is comfortable, plenty of hot water. It might be nice to have a shower curtain so that the water done splash out on the floor. A shower curtain would be nice so that the water does not splash out on the floor.

• West (10/5): Perfect oasis - As first time visitors to Marrakech we couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. A wonderfully helpful and friendly team made our stay so much easier. Sena's food on our first evening was delicious and Omar could not have been more attentive to our needs. Cleanliness was exceptional. A beautiful oasis in the hubbub of the Medina. A short walk to some excellent restaurants as well as the main square. Despite visiting in Ramadan we didn't experience any difficulties and the restaurants we chose all served cocktails, wine and beer. As did the hotel. With only 5 rooms the riad was very bijou. My only comment would be to add an extra chair in the hotel room so that a couple can both read and relax after a day of walking. Security wasn't a problem, neither was privacy. We were really appreciative of a different cultural experience.

• Thompson (10/5): An oasis of calm in the centre of the Medina - The staff made our stay for my wifes 60th birthday along with our family very special. Nothing was too much trouble even down to having a beautful meal ready for us on our first night, even though our plane had been delayed. Everything was done willingly with a smile and you certainly got the feeling they all had pride in their role there. I would recommend this Riad as a top class place to stay if you want a quiet oasis away from the wonderful madness of the Marrakech Medina ! This was our first time in Morocco and we are so glad we found this marvellous place. It is impossible to put anything in here !!

Omar, Sanaa and Khadija who work there are superb in going the extra mile in trying to meet our expectations and made all the efforts to make us feel comfortable. Moroccans are friendly people. Christiane, the lady owner of the Riad communicated effectively and answered all my queries before my travel. The Madina which is the old city is dusty, however going to the modern part of the city near Gueliz can give you a break, where the modern cafés and wider roads and cleaner air. Scooters an motorbikes are every where in the little alleyways but this is part of the fun. In January and you walk in short sleeves? wao. None really.

• Julie (10/5): A wonderfully located Riad with exceptional service. - The location of the Riad is perfect for access to everything we wanted to visit. It is only a 3 min walk to the Souks and a 10 min walk to the main square and night market. The Riad organised a driver to collect us from the airport and a cart to carry our suitcases from the taxi drop off point to the Riad. It was very efficient and very reasonably priced. The Riad was extremely clean and the en suite rooms spacious and very comfortable. The best part of staying at the Riad however was the staff, Sana and Omar. Not only were they incredibly welcoming and helpful, but nothing was too much trouble for them. They made our stay very special. They were happy to make restaurant reservations, book taxis, advise on where to go and how to get there, provide copious amounts of ice for cold afternoon drinks and even taking us to an eating place that was difficult to find on the map. Sana cooked us a delicious supper one evening and made sure we liked all the proposed ingredients. Both Sana and Omar were incredibly attentive but never intrusive. The service was second to none. We would highly recommend this Riad if you want to have an authentic Morrocan experience but be well looked after at the same time. Nothing.

• Seattleguy (9/5): Nice stay in Marrakech - This is a Dar, not a Riad. Once you accept that, it is a wonderful place. Omar & Sana are very friendly & helpful people. Rooms were nicely sized, terrace was a great place to enjoy the breakfast. Omar was also able to get our laundry done, so that was awesome. I don't know who folded the clothes, but they were done way better than I do at my own home.
• Omar (9/5): Superb - Staff were all excellent Omar Sana and Khadija Omar went out of his way to arrange our bus tickets. Even pulled 1 of our bags all the way to the taxi from Riad. Thank you very much
