Guest Reviews

- Mohamed (10/5): - It started with meeting Amr at the front of the pyramids, he showed me the place and offered me activities to do with very reasonable prices. He was not pushing me to get any stuff and gave us in very decent treatment. He made us feel so special. The place is exceptional just few steps from the pyramids with a super clear view for the pyramids and sphinx. The beds are comfy and super clean, the service is fantastic. The magic word there was the people (Hamada, Youssef, Ziad, Abdul, Kareem, the lady that preparing the breakfast), everyone just spreading smiles and unbelievable positive energy. They served us with love and made you feel that you know them for years. They just give you unbelievable positivity with huge respect and welcome for their guests. I have visited many countries and a lot of places but this one is unforgettable and I can say this is the best ever trip I have ever made. Thanks so much for this extraordinary experience. My family and I will for sure come again. Thanks so much
- Hussein (10/5): - excellent accommodation as usual, my favorite hotel in giza nothing

- Feroz (10/5): - The location is ideal for visiting the pyramids. Located directly opposite the ticket office. The hotel was very clean and had an excellent view of all three main pyramids. The hotel breakfast was made freshly and we were given the choice of how we wanted our eggs done. The hotel boy Ziyad (bodyguard) was very accommodating. Overall a dream experience and the hotel price with breakfast was cheap as chips. Would highly recommend it for families.
- Lixin (9/5): Superb - Zayad is really helpful. We experienced a water problem in the region. Zayad did everything he could to help us. It was such an experience for us. Thank you again Zayad!
The room is big and new. The terrasse has a beautiful view towards the pyramids. The hotel is not easy to find. It's in King Ali Palace(a perfume shop)
- Emmajane (10/5): Amazing view, kind staff and a fab breakfast - The view of the pyramids and the fantastic breakfast Nothing
- Arzu (10/5): Exceptional - The view was incredible. The staff was the kindest people I have seen in Egypt. All of them were so friendly and trying to make our stay the best. So happy to choose this hotel.
- Kasım (9/5): Greate location, wide room - The location was greate , room was relly wide. brakefast was enough. they let us enter to room even we arrived really early. They were relly kind and helpful. Piramides entrance is 50meter away, right front of the building The area was noisy at night, but we slept because we were tired.
- Angela (8/5): Very good - Nice location and friendly staff Was difficult to find and the taxi took us somewhere else.
- Hussein (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darenegademama (8/5): Legitimate Hotel - Clean, Safe, and FANTASTIC location - Fantastic location. A one-minute walk to the Sphinx entrance of the Giza Necropolis (Pyramids). Dozens of restaurants and small markets within walking distance. Easy, instant access to all kinds of transportation ... Uber, Taxis, Tuk Tuks, Horse Carriages
Three ATMs available in the parking lot.
We were a group of four women from the United States. We felt safe at all times.
Cute, clean rooms and rooftop patio. Hotel staff and management keeps street vendors from hassling its guests in parking lot and immediate area. (Those sellers are gonna HIT YOU UP, though, the minute you leave the parking lot and enter the street lolol).
Attentive, but non-intrusive staff. Staff doesn't speak English well, but with the help of Google Translate, and easy access to the English-speaking hotel manager, communication was not much of a problem.
We encountered a couple of random problems in a couple of rooms (a lost key/lockout; a toilet clog/backup) and the staff was diligent in taking care of the problems quickly and efficiently. Hotel only provided one small bottle of water daily...and only if specifically requested per day.
That was not cool. I've brought a dozen groups to Egypt over many years, and 1 or 2 liters of free bottled water, per room, per night is pretty standard
- Claudia (8/5): Good value for the money - - Top-notch location directly at the sphinx
- - Room wasn’t 100% clean, here and there some minor dirt
- I asked to arrange for an Uber to the airport and it seemed the host has forgotten about it and tried to organize one only when he was called by one of the staff members
- Darenegademama (8/5): Awesome Location. Earnest Service. Safe. - Fantastic location (literally just a few steps away from the Sphinx entrance of Giza Necropolis). Clean (mostly - see notes below) and fairly modern. We were a group of single women vacationing together, and we felt safe at all times in and around the hotel. Terrific pricing.
Our group occupied several rooms. The toilet backed up pretty badly in one of the rooms. Hotel staff responded quickly to the problem, and when they weren't able to resolve the problem within just a few minutes, they quickly moved the guests to another room. We appreciated their fast response to the issue Staff didn't speak English very well -- both they and we hobbled along ok using Google Translate, but was a little frustrating.
I accidentally left my key in our tour bus - unable to retrieve until the next day. The hotel did not have a master key to my room, so I had to shack up with another member of our group for the night until I could retrieve the key in the morning. I like my group-mate, but it sucked to not have access to my toothbrush, medications, clean clothing (after a long, hit, sweaty day), and privacy while I slept.
TO BE FAIR, THOUGH: the staff really did make every effort to get me into my room (even so far as attempting to use a butter knife to remove the deadbolt from the outside), but nothing worked.
If they learned from the experience, and get "master" keys made for every room, they'll have sufficiently learned from the mistake, and all is forgiven.
I don't think pillow shams had been washed after the previous guest -- pillows smelled of "someone else's" head....do note: room and bedding was, otherwise, clean and well-maintained.
- Martin (10/5): King Ali Rules - Everything.
This hotel is a hidden gem. It's quite easy to find in real life (just like for the giant King Ali sign near the entrance to the pyramids) but as of now anyway BOOKING.COM is the only place that has it listed.
Why I love it:
The People: The hotel is above the family perfume shop which means that there are many attentive members of their extended family and employees ready and happy to help you out at any time and with anything. The two people I dealt with most were the managers Sherif and Hakeem, both of whom are not only professionals ready to help with anything at any time but also GENUINELY good guys. Speaking with fellow guests over the duration of my stay I can tell we all felt the same.
The room: I'm a simple guy so I can only speak to my own peccadilloes. To me the most important thing by far are the beds. And these beds are great. Having spent a lot of time here I've seen many hotels in Giza and I can tell you that when it comes to comfort it's a crap shoot. And if you're booking a few day stay you don't want to take that risk. The beds are generously large, new and very comfortable. They also have an assortment of pillows so I was able to find those of the thickness I prefer and I'm sure you will too. As for the rest..? It's a room! The lights are good, I assume the wall TV works, etc. The only time I notice something specific about a hotel room is when it doesn't work, and here everything works. Fresh thick towels, clean comforters, hot shower... Everything clean, bright, and available in ample supply.
The view: Well, the view can't be beat. Imagine enjoying your free breakfast of eggs, pita, cheese, jam, potatoes, drinks, etc on a terrace looking straight at the pyramids and Sphinx with no obstruction before you. I liked everything!
- Alejandro (10/5): Panoramic views piramides - Location it was great , just front of the entrance, of the piramides , very safe , the staff very good , the driver Amar (I hope written the name correct)was excellent, pick up from the airport very late without any problems, he helped us a lot , he did the tour for the city , even buy for us a very delicious mango fresh juice. I never forget the experience in Egypt. If I can said something , I will say the roadworks
- Paschalis (3/5): Good terrace view, Affordable but bad accommodation. - Terrace View of the Pyramids, nice place to sit and also very affordable. (We paid only 43 euros for 3 days) The staff was friendly. The room was dusty and really dark. The bathroom toilet was also dirty and looked like it was not cleaned. The shower was a bit weird, and we couldn't use it because it looked really dirty. The next day we booked another hotel.
But to be fair, for the money we paid it was fair and the view really amazing. Maybe not for my standards.
- Lemonstree (9/5): Superb - The view is incredibly beautiful, you will literally be across the street from the pyramids! Also, the hotel staff was very friendly, you can ask them anything and they will help you at any time.
- Naina (8/5): Overall, King Ali Hotel is a very affordable option with an unbeatable location near the Sphinx gate - Our Stay at King Ali Hotel
Our stay at King Ali was generally good. The rooms were clean, although we noticed some sand on the carpet—likely due to the recent sandstorm. I would recommend the hotel management consider removing the carpets during the summer months, as they tend to collect dust and appear not to be vacuumed thoroughly.
Breakfast was quite basic, consisting of bread, cheese, jam, and omelette, with little variation day to day. It became a bit monotonous over the course of our stay, so a bit more variety would be a welcome improvement.
One of the standout features of the hotel is its spectacular view of the Pyramids—especially given how close it is to the Sphinx gate. This proximity also makes it convenient for food options, with places like Pizza Hut and KFC just a short walk away.
During our stay, there was a power outage at around 10:30 PM one evening. We reported the issue to the hotel owner, Mr. Sherif, who quickly understood our inconvenience and kindly offered us an alternative accommodation nearby for the night. In fact, we ended up liking that house even more than the hotel itself and requested to stay there for the remainder of our visit. My family was quite happy with this arrangement.
Overall, King Ali Hotel is a very affordable option with an unbeatable location near the Sphinx gate. With a few improvements, especially around cleanliness and breakfast variety, it has the potential to offer an even better experience.
- Nilesh (10/5): Value for money - Very friendly staff like family.
They have got Essence & Papyrus shop as well very nice & worth visiting.
Room had refrigerator, kettle, Hot water geyser in shower. Do ask for more tissues as quality of tissue is not good.
Seamless checkout staff helped in carrying luggage & even got our missed baggage safely collected even though we were away.
I got packed breakfast box as had early morning tours all was good. Lived 3 separate days in 3 different rooms. All was good. Whatever you require for breakfast they get it for you.
You can view the pyramid anytime as it can be viewed from terrace of Hotel.
I booked Nile River cruise through them it was worth it. No lift to hotel as its on 2nd floor but staff helped to carry luggage up & down.
Hotel is away from airport about 45 mins as per traffic.
As location is in market place surrounded with different hotels it was too noisy of music till 11 pm on Thursday night as it was weekend so had disturbed sleep but other nights it was all good.
Mention about breakfast requirement to Mr Hakeem as the request given to staff was not conveyed due to which we did not get breakfast 1 day as we left early next day.
The tour of Pyramids booked through them was expensive & not satisfactory.
Return shuttle taxi didn't have AC so was very sweaty.
- Hussein (10/5): one of the best hotels in giza - very comfort
- Enes (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very friendly and the view is perfect. Clean hotel, cheap for its price and location.Greetings from Türkiye
- Alex (8/5): Lovely hotel. Service a bit underwhelming. - The property was very very clean, spacious and nice. We actually stayed at Habu Hotel because the host upgraded us to a different room. Habu hotel was just 4 mins away from the original location so we still have the view of the pyramids. The hotel was very lovely. I have nothing against the hotel itself. The only downside is that the breakfast was a little bit late and underwhelming. We had to keep reminding them of our breakfast. We asked the hotel if they could sort us out for two sim cards and the sim cards costed 10 euro for 10 GB which didn’t work after 1 night. We also asked the hotel for a car ride and they wanted to charge us 30 USD where on Uber it would have costed us 10 USD. Service was just a bit underwhelming. We expected a different service but they were very lovely to upgrade us to a better room.
- Andrew (9/5): great location, hakeem one of the employee helped me booked our day trip in cairo - location, right infront of the pyramid. hakeem one of the employee helped me booked our day trip in Cairo. help us saved money booking day trips and overnight at the white dessert tour.

- Ferdi̇ (10/5): If you want to visit Giza Region and you don't want to pay much, you should stay at King Ali P. Inn. - I booked three rooms (3 days) for my family and friends. Just after the reservation, Mr. Hakeem contacted me about the reservation. I asked for airport transfer. We were three family so we needed a big car. He helped about it.
When we arrived at the hotel at 1 pm, our breakfast was already prepared although breakfast time had already passed.
Mr. Hakeem arranged Nile Cruise, Saqqara Necropolis, Cairo Tours etc. for us.
The location is also great, you can drink coffee by watching the Sphinx and Giza Pyramids.
The room is clean and has private bath and toilet.
The beds are comfortable.
You can change money at the reception.
You can buy perfume and papyrus paper from downstairs of the hotel. You can get a good discount as you are the customer of the hotel. Don't waste your money from other places.
Also Mr. Hazem (the waiter, bellboy etc.) is a nice and helpful personal.
Thank you Mr. Hakeem, Mr. Saber (The owner of Hotel) and especially Mr. Hazeem.
- F.o. (9/5): Great! - Perfect location, great views, restaurants in the area. Unexpected attempt to cancel the booking by the property owner. But this was resolved promptly and professional by the owner.
- Yu-chieh (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was great, the manager and the staff were so friendly, always there to help, very thoughtful and so kind, thank you for the warm welcome!!

Water was cut for a short period in the last day of our stay.
The area is noisy during the daytime but quiet at night.
- Ab97999 (10/5): Truely memoreable and Fantastic - The hospitality of the staff is exceptional. We received a warm welcome and felt extremely comfortable during our stay. Our room was fantastic; they upgraded our room without asking. I would like to extend my special thanks to Mr. Hakeem, Mr. Hazim, and Mr. Ahmed for their attentive services and hospitality. It's accessible to all establishments and has a great view of the pyramids at the rooftop.

- Veronika (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, the pyramids and sphinx’s view from the terrace is incredible. Also, it’s right near the entrance to the Giza Plato. And there are few atm-s and a small 24/7 shop nearby. The room was quite simple, but with everything you may need (working ac, fridge, bottled water, clean towels, hot shower, etc). Breakfast consisted of eggs, cheese, bread and jam.
The staff was very helpful and thoughtful!

Sherif arranged all our tours and provided all the information we needed to make our stay memorable and the breakfast was delicious , the rooms is very clean and Wi Fi is strong . This is our second time staying with him and we will definitely return! And don't forget to visit his perfume and papyrus shops , really from my heart i recommend this place. Nothing
- Omar (10/5): Everything was great and excellent also excellent location and service I had a great experience I would definet recommen - Wonderful Egypt with new friends and great experiences!
+ Sherif has a great place. He’s well connected in the town and can help you with anything you need, and his recommendations and suggestions are always great and reliable. Egypt can be a challenging place to travel, but Sherif treats you like family and makes everything easy. I will definitely be referring my friends, and I hope to come back again! The week we stayed was excellent, and Sherif has the best location on the planet to see the pyramids.
The whole community was awesome too. Saber and Zeko are very friendly and great and we enjoyed meeting them every day! Sherif’s family is always around to help and have a nice conversation, and you feel truly welcomed.
Finally, Sherif and his team went above and beyond for us. When my wife got sick, he got medicine. When we woke up late, he rearranged the day to accommodate us. When we wanted a simple breakfast, he took us on a walking tour of the town to find everything we needed. This is so much more than just a room, and it means a lot to us. Nothing!
- Tom (10/5): Great Location, helpful staff, high recommended - Great location, helpful staff, highly recommended
+ The location was perfect, the view of the pyramids was amazing, the Princess hotel is right next to the entrance for the pyramids. Especially at night the view was breathtaking. The breakfast was very good, all Egyptian and fresh. The staff was exceptional, they helped us a great deal with everything and the prices that we got for our tours all around Egypt, not just for Cairo, were much cheaper than anything we could find online and offline.
Advice: DON'T book any tours online, it's rip off. Just talk to the owner of the Princess Pyramids View and he can arrange almost any tour all around Egypt for you, not Cairo. You'll save A LOT of money. Everting it was great !!
- Mahmoud (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect in Nubian Pyramids view inn. The staff was helpful, the accommodation was beautiful and the breakfast was super. It couldn't have been better, moreover the balcony scene too close to pyramids also transportation.
Thanks😍 Everything was perfect
