• Janet (8/5): Exactly what we were looking for for a short stay. - Close to the railway station and shops. Items left for our use e.g. milk, tea, coffee, biscuits. No window in bedroom. No sofa. Additional mirror would have been useful.

• Rebecca (8/5): Clean, comfortable and well equipped for a short stay - Despite being tiny, it was well equipped for our short stay. It was really clean and tidy. The WiFi was excellent! As it was at the top of the high street, it was fairly noisy. It would have been nice to have a more comfortable chair, but I can see that it would be hard to fit it in.

• Marie (8/5): Came down to see my granddaughter that’s live in Redruth as I don’t see her much , I had I lovely stay part from the sho - Very clean and had everything you needed for a short break The shower was horrendous , kept going hot and cold and not much water came out , that’s my only fault
• Barbara (7/5): Premajhno, a urejeno in čisto - Urejeno in čisto. Zelo majhna nastanitev, kot garsonjera. Vse zelo stisnjeno. Za družino skoraj premajhna, ni namreč prostora za odlaganje prtljage. Pogrešali smo štedilnik, bila je samo mikrovalovna pečica/pečica.

• Kelly (9/5): Ideal location - Immaculately clean, very easy access instructions, perfect location, heating control, excellent communication with host, super comfy bed, milk and tea/coffee provided.
• Elise (6/5): Good value for money for a very short stay but no ventilation at all. - Host was pleasant and easily contactable. Answered very quickly and let us check in early. Very kind and accommodating. The shower was clean but due to the poor ventilation of the whole property, smelled very moldy. The kettle was also not checked between guests and left in terrible condition meaning we were unable to have hot beverages in the morning. The host was very apologetic and offered an alternative solution but we had to leave very early and had to grab coffees later that morning at a petrol station instead. The only cooking facility was a combination microwave so our dinners were rather awful. We needed a place to stay for one night but we will definitely not be returning as even then it was rather difficult to do with the aforementioned problems.

• Joyce (8/5): The caetaker was very helpful on our first day. Nice stay overall. - The property was very clean and tidy. Parking was readily available and even free from the evening till 9am. Good communication and information sharing from caretaker. The second bedroom had no window making it warm. The fan in the room was is a bit small. Some letters were missing from the hairdressers shop that is used to sign post to the property, but the Katie was available to help.

Would certainly use again if needed similar! - The place was absolutely fine - we just needed a place to rest up and sleep overnight between two locations and The Cosy Nook served the purpose for us. The accommodation had everything we needed for the night - comfortable beds, nice and clean and a decent bathroom and shower. Can't fault the place and the host was very speedy in responding to my message with the lockbox code for arrival. Would use again if needed similar accommodation in that area. There is nothing to report as poor or not up to standard. In an ideal world, it would be nice if there was a sofa to sit on, but the beds are great and the table and chairs do just the job.

All in all a good value for the money stay :) Bathroom has a bit of a damp smell as it's so enclosed and no window... but clean and does the job! Could do with a comfortable chair if there is any room to fit one in. Or maybe a sofa bed instead. Step on entry into the apartment very high, so maybe a bit more of warning to remember this when entering and especially leaving the apartment. .

• Philip (10/5): An amazing cosy clean cheap place to stay - All the rooms and beds were very very clean, had all the required facilities from an iron to a dryer, towels coffee, tea and milk was provided which was a nice touch, had usb plugs on the sockets, hosts were very responsive and nice. I had an amazing stay especially for the price. The location and parking was also amazing. Couldn't of had a better stay than this.

Good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Great location in town centre and close to station. Everything was fine during my stay. Nothing.

• Jan (6/5): Satisfactory choice for one night, but not a longer stay - The room was carefully renovated and clean, directly in the center and close (5 minutes walk) to the railway station. It is well equiped including a washing machine, a TV, a microwave and a fridge. Milk and tea bags included. the owner was nice and helpfull when I had problems finding the room. Nook is really a proper description of the property because the only access and a window at the same time face directly to the passage. It satisfied my needs on the last day of my stay in Cornwall, but I can hardly recommend it for a longer stay.

• Brid (5/5): Passable - The property is located at the back of a business premises. There is no window in the bedroom, and only a frosted window in the living area. The property is spotless,but due to the lack of natural lighting,and the location it is claustrophobic,and dark.

• Dr (8/5): Clean and cozy bolt-hole on Redruth's main street - In an absolutely brilliant location for the centre of Redruth and ideal for the Station and Kresen Kernow. Tucked away in the main street it is small but cozy, with a bedroom, bedroom/kitchen and ensuite/shower. It has a really good microwave and a toaster but no grill or oven. There are no views from the property, but is is snug and very central.

• Robert (7/5): It met our needs - just! - It was clean and modern. The location was great. The bed was comfortable. There was no cooker (hob or oven), although strangely a washing machine. There was nowhere to sit other than on hard dining chairs, so not really possible to spend a relaxing evening in. We had booked this intending to bring our daughter and granddaughter, but glad they were unable to come as the accommodation is not really suitable for more than 2 people. Only one wardrobe which is difficult to access and a bedroom with no windows or storage of any kind. Only one mirror in the whole place in the shower room not near a plug socket when doing hair. Fortunately we were only using it as a place to sleep, so it was fine, but I would have liked to be able to make porridge in the morning. The wasn’t even an ice compartment in the fridge, so no ice for my G&T in the evening. The shower was just a trickle of Luke warm water. It was ok, but a few small adjustments could make it so much better.

• Lin (8/5): Overnight stay in Redruth - Easy location to the town. Well equipped kitchen area. Nothing really. I'm a rather light sleeper and did hear a bit of traffic at night but I'm very sensitive to the slightest noise!

• Steven (8/5): Cosy Nook in Redruth - Place was clean, well located near the railway station, and the owner was exceptionally helpful. The shower takes a long time for the water to stop running compared to other similar showers we have used, which was a little nerve-wracking on first use. We thought it was a little expensive for what it is, but lack of accommodation in the area probably accounts for this.
