- Lori-Anne (6/5): The room was clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. Was expensive for what it was. -
- Nix (8/5): -
- Farslow (7/5): -
- Sheri (3/5): will not book there again - the sheets and towels were clean and the heater worked well interior and exterior were dingy and dated. Minimal outlets, very thin walls (you could hear what was going on in the room next door - chronic cougher) mattress was way past its prime and something (guessing a spider - fairly large) ran across me and my husband in the middle of the night - waking us both up. It was a pretty rough night. Traffic noise
- Dave (5/5): Ok - All just ok Too small. Too close to road
- Michal (10/5): -
- Heather (10/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): - Such an amazing location. Beautiful area. Quiet. Gorgeous scenery, right on the river. Wonderful room.
- Theodore (9/5): Enjoyed the stay. Bed in room 2 is more comfortable than room 4 - No breakfast provided Microwave was dirty inside
- Kinder-Rowan (9/5): - Love the location!
- Theodore (10/5): If your headed toward doesn't and you run out off steam, this is a perfect facility to stay. I'll be - No breakfast. Room was cozy, warm. Towels were soft and the bed was very comfortable. Shower head needs changed (room 2)

- nicholas (6/5): A nice 70’s style motel. - This is a 70’s style motel with basic facilities and small rooms but it’s exactly what one expects.
- Brian (9/5): - Very friendly and accommodating staff.
- Laura (8/5): We would stay again if we were in the area. - It was quiet & peaceful. The staff were pleasant & helpful when the tv had lost its signal the owner came right away to repair it. We needed a reading lamp for both sides of the bed , since my husband & I both read.
- Cindy (10/5): - Small and quite
- Jeffery (3/5): -

- Dawson (8/5): Our stay was great. I was born and raised in Dolores........... - Great............. Nope
- John (7/5): It had everything we needed. -
- Paul (10/5): A + - Cabin like feeling of the room...bed was amazing and cozy...and staff was so friendly and kind
- carol (9/5): Clean, welcoming and a fantastic location. - This hotel has been around for a while and yet it is SPOTLESS. Staff was very welcoming and brought us old towels for the dogs after they popped in the river. We were only there one night however we got a chance to enjoy the river and having a drink in the overlook by the river.
- Laurie (9/5): -
- Kelle (7/5): - Right near a little creek and a path to Mexican restaurant but not quite what I expected. Photos made it seem like it would be more of a natural setting Photos made it seem like it would be more of a natural setting. Rooms are very small and outdated but clean. I think the accommodation makes sense if you're planning to stay, have young children, or dogs and need a place to be outside but for a quick overnight it wasn't really worth the money
- Shauna (8/5): Great stay , would stay again - Great location , clean comfortable room , friendly staff.
- Ricky (7/5): - Clean. Location. The air conditioner kept freezing up at night.
The mattress sank in the middle. Not comfortable.
- Kaul (4/5): Motel on the river was nice, but it is old and needs some updating. - The motel was right on the river & had a deck you could sit on and enjoy the river. This is an old motel, it was clean. But bed needs to be replaced and linens also. They also need to spray for summer bugs.
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vicky (10/5): Exceptional -
- White (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful setting. - Location was great. Could walk to the river and sit on a patio over looking the river. Or take the river walk along the river. A park is very near by for picnics. Hot water never ran out. Own parking space. Owner was very helpful and friendly. I slid to the center of the bed because of the mattress. Bathroom door wouldn't shut securely. I could have joined the conversation with the people next door. Bed too close to the wall for getting up in the middle of the night. Love the benches made from skis. Love the paneling.
- Marcianne (5/5): It was okay - Location clean nice staff Blinds didn’t shut properly
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (9/5): Wonderful cabin B. We would stay again! - Large cabin. Very comfortable for the 3 of us. Lots of towels, cookware, full size fridge, stove w/oven, and air conditioning! Beds a little hard, older, but lots of charm!
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant place to stay for the night - There were nice swings and picnic tables. Deck near river was very nice. But everything was old and needed to be painted. Cushions were all very dirty
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr. (10/5): Great Motorcycle Motel - Great motorcycle motel Gravel parking lot but most r gravel n small towns
- Talarico (10/5): Loved the cabin stay - Great place decent location. The people that own it are not only helpful but very nice. Just need to clean the jacuzzi but still was nice.
- Eva (8/5): Very good -
- Teri (9/5): Great place to stay and the staff was very helpful. - Location
- Janis (6/5): Pleasant - Very nice small motel near the Valley of the Ancients Visitor center. Cute and well maintained. There wells a huge screaming altercation between several families in the parking lot with violent verbal interactions for over 45 minutes. I had to call the police when 4 men started picking up sticks. Two members had to hold off aggressor. No motel management personnel appeared to be aware. The place is not that big. If we could hear it 5 rooms away there should have been immediate intervention. This went on all night to some extent even after I called police. We felt in danger so never left our room again so missed dinner. This should have been dealt with by staff immediately.
- Phyllis (9/5): Love being right on the river at a quiet place. - Location and simple home-like room We were given the key to a room already occupied! Quickly corrected but that was embarrassing.
- Dino (8/5): Very nice staff - Excellent staff expensive pet fee for only one night
- Rhonda (7/5): Good - Heating system was a bit loud. Everything else was good.
- Linda (10/5): So enjoyed our cozy room! - The staff was amazing!!! That’s what makes it!!
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Mitzi (8/5): It was nice and quaint I would stay here again - It was quiet It had snowed recently and there were snow piled up in the parking lot
- Elizabeth (6/5): Pleasant -
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Salli (8/5): I would stay again. Dolores is a good stop-over to break up the trip from mountains to desert. - The location was right by the Dolores River, which was so nice to take a meditative walk upon arrival. The park was nearby and the staff were friendly.
- Amy (7/5): Very nice stream side stay! - Room was small but comfortable and very clean. There is a nice river walk adjacent to the property. We built a lovely fire in the firepit. There are tables, chairs, and grills. Room was fine for a short stay but would have been tight for anything longer.
- Reeves (5/5): Passable -
- Thomas (7/5): Room was clean and comfortable - No breakfast Couldn’t get tv to work
- Sherrie (8/5): We took a drive to see the fall colors which were beautiful. And enjoyed two night stay . Close to town ,could even ju - They have a wonderful deck next to river , was beautiful view. Have your coffee and enjoy the rippling sound of the river . Peaceful Older property, but was still nice
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -

- Donna (9/5): Superb -
- Roxann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kellie (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Overall very pleasant experience. Easy check in ,Helpful staff Quiet and close to the river -
- Medlin (7/5): Good -
- Middleton (1/5): Bad - The bed was absolutely crippling, still I'm pain 24hrs later.
Like sleeping on a box spring.
- Linda (7/5): Good -
- Flyin' (8/5): A peaceful night on the river without the big chain vibe - Unique, older motel located on the Dolores River under tall shade trees and several outdoor seating areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our favorite was the deck right on the river. A river walk led us to nearby dining, with lovely views of the rocky cliffs along the tumbling river.
The motel is older (maybe from the 50's?) but has been nicely maintained and offered everything we needed for a comfortable getaway without that big chain vibe. There are also cabins of various sizes and a limited camping area where several big fifth wheels were parked.
Refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, flat screen TV. We enjoy finding unique, older lodging, and this was perfect. But there are a few places where the structure shows its age - around the old casement window in the bathroom, for instance. Nothing that presented a problem, though.
- Judy (8/5): Very good -
- Martiniano (9/5): Superb -
- Sylvia (7/5): Good - Location on the river with a nice deck Dated
- Clarice (8/5): Enjoyed the river there, quiet surroundings - Very nicely decorated. Comfortable! Minimal tv
- Cathleen (9/5): Superb -
- Brody (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (10/5): Perfict - We absolutely love this place! small, quaint and friendly. Just like we like it. Nothing...
- Julian (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (7/5): Good -
- Pat (9/5): Superb - The owners and staff were down to earth friendly and knowledgable. We were only going to stay a few days before moving on to a new area, but we loved the area, tons of things to do and the Motel was comfortable so we ended up staying longer. I would and probably will go back.
It is no luxury Hotel, but old fashioned and clean it is. The office. It could be more inviting as far as appearance goes.
- Evonne (10/5): Definitely staying there again. - Beds were very comfortable. Lonna went above and beyond to help with a situation that I created. She is fantastic!
- Michael (8/5): I just needed a place to stay for one night. This place did the job. Thanks - The Dolores River Cluttered outside environment. Parking was limited and cramped.
- Katie (10/5): I would come back to this cool getaway - Great location, right on the river with walking path and plenty of swim areas. A great dog friendly location
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- M (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): Relaxing and friendly. - While traveling, my wife and I seek out places to stay that are not part of a big chain. We found this one on this trip and they did not fail in any way. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our stay was everything we were expecting with a family owned motel. Can’t think of anything.
- Kathalin (10/5): It was the perfect place to stay for our day trip to Telluride. - The cabin was cute, roomy, and quiet. Not a thing.
- Jeff (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and convenient Electric didn’t work very well and bed in the wadi was hard to get in and out.
- Shirley (8/5): Very good - Being on the river, the staff was very accommodating & friendly..Beds were comfy. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (10/5): I had a lovely stay here, charming, comfortable bed, and a beautiful area! - It was a cute little place next to a beautiful river setting. Honestly it was perfect for my needs. But if I were to choose one thing, I didn't like the packaged shampoo, it was way to difficult to open in the shower.
