• YOUNGAE (10/5): 접근성 완전 좋고 친절한 사장님 !! - 신오쿠보역이랑 굉장히 가까워서 접근성도 좋고 주변에 밥 먹을 곳도 많아서 좋아요. JY선이 다녀서 어디든 편하게 잘 다닐 수 있었던 것도 좋음. 그리고 사장님이 진짜 친절하심 ... 일본 입국날 추웠는데 체크인하면서 바로 난방도 틀어주시고 배려해주시는게 너무 감사할정도예여 ...솔직히 한국인 사장님 하면 계속 말 걸고 오히려 한국인에게 막대하는 분들도 있긴한데 전혀 그렇지 않았어요! 그래서 지내는 내내 너무 편하고 좋았어요. 처음에 평가가 좀 나빠서 걱정했는데 다른 손님과 얘기하시는 거 우연히 듣다보니 여기 사장님 바뀌셨다고 하더라구여(맞게 들었나???) 새로 생긴 한인민박이라고 생각하고 오시면 좋을듯 합니다:) 방이 조금 작은 편이라 캐리어를 펼치면 다니는게 살짝 번거롭긴한데 크게 신경쓰이는 편은 아닙니다. 그리고 소음에 민감한 분이라면 잘때 귀마개는 필요할듯 해요.

• YuriLily (1/5): 不愉快 - ロケーションのみ。Only the location was good, everything else was a bad experience. The lady opens the locked doors and comes in on you while you take a shower after 11pm or 12am because it's against the unwritten rules. You receive no information regarding the usage of the facility whatsoever but are expected to know it. チェックインはちゃんと宿泊台帳などもなく確認もちゃんとない。チェックインの時の設備利用の説明もなし。部屋は清潔感がない、冷蔵庫汚い、タオルはフェイスタオルで古びて硬くて汚い、シーツも汚い、床も掃除行き届いていない。 1泊ブッキングで延長し、同じ部屋（102）そのまま利用したいとリクエストしてOKとの回答が来ましたが、9時半ごろにチェックアウトしてと言われました。チェックアウトは10時ですよね？ メッセージではそのまま102号室利用OKだったのにって説明したら、102はエアコンの修理が来ないといけないので違う大きい部屋に移動してほしいと言われ、すぐに荷物をまとめて移動するようになり、202に案内されました。そしたら荷物出した約10分後くらいにまた間違えたからまた102に戻って欲しいごめん、と謝って来たのですが、部屋に戻ったら掃除はシーツを変えずただ整えただけみたいで、タオルは回収して新しいタオルも置いてくれておらず、ゴミ箱のゴミも捨てず。結局エアコンの修理なかったですけど？2泊もエアコンなし。 「シャワーの利用は11時まで」と入っている最中にロックかかっている扉を勝手に開けました。 「そういう説明も受けていないしどこにも書いていない」と言ったら、「説明受けていないのか。 でもそれはエチケットだから0時以降は使っちゃいけない、シャワーの換気がダメじゃん」と叱られました。
• ITOU (4/5): お値段相当ですがスタッフの方は親切で好感がもてました。 - 正解な場所がわからなくて電話で問い合わせたところおそらく外国人と思われる男性の方が応対してくださったのですが地図を見ながら丁寧に説明してくださいました。おかげでたどり着くことができました。 でも実際にはは駅から近く立地は良かったと思います。 清掃はされていると思いますが床とシャワー室に髪の毛が目立ちました。 それとあとトイレにスリッパがなくてちょっと困りました。

A great location for easily accessing public transportation and the surrounding areas. Close to the railway, so the noise was a bit disturbing during the night. But if you're not a light sleeper, you should be just fine.
• CELENE (5/5): Déçu de mon séjour dans l'ensemble - Une chambre seule qui ferme à clé et très bien située, proche de la gare, facile d'accès et proche des quartiers animés. Propreté à revoir, le frigo de la chambre était moisi à l'intérieur, le cadre de la chambre est tout moisi aussi, la douche pareil n'était pas propre. Je n'ai pas vu de cuisine comme indiqué sur l'annonce, il y a juste un micro-ondes dans l'entrée. Aucune insonorisation, très peu dormis malheureusement. Les serviettes étaient taché/sales ?..
• Augusto (10/5): Muito boa, definitivamente recomendo. - Passei uma noite de sexta-feira 17/outubro/25 para sábado 18/outubro/25, vi diversas pessoas reclamando da acomodação e fui com receio, mas não foi nada do que disseram. A pessoa que cuida da acomodação é uma senhora coreana que não fala inglês ou japonês. Muitas pessoas reclamam disso, mas não entendem que nem todos são obrigados a falar o idioma deles. Aprender o mínimo de coreano como "bom dia" e "obrigado" ajuda muito. Vi pessoas que reclamaram de não poder usar o banheiro de outros andares. Eu estava no segundo andar e desci ao primeiro para usar o banheiro de manhã, mas tive que esperar pois estava ocupado. A própria senhora, de quem muitos reclamam, sugeriu que eu fosse usar o banheiro do térreo. Basta ser educado e respeitoso que as coisas mudam. Ao chegar no térreo, tire os sapatos e deixe no armário ao lado da entrada, assim você não leva xingo da senhorinha, hehe. Talvez deixar o controle do ar condicionado dentro do quarto com os hóspedes seria uma boa. Não cheguei a passar calor, mas é legal poder controlar a temperatura do lugar em que se está.

• Masaki (7/5): 素泊まり程度なら問題無いかと思います - 値段がとにかく安い シャワーが1階と2階の２つしかなく、3階に宿泊すると1階のシャワールームは使ってはいけないようで実質１つしか使えず少し不便さを感じました

• Nick (10/5): Best in class budget stay, walking distance to Shinjuku. - Tokyo My Home is the home of a sweet Korean woman who hosts guests in her home. Each room is just that, a room. Each floor has a shared toilet and shower, and is not a traditional private space. However, your own room for less than the price of a capsule hotel is the best deal in town. She has her own way of doing things, such as no shoes in the home (very normal for Japan), but really made us feel like welcome guests in her home. She even let us store our luggage while we waiting around for a late flight. Thank you so much and we would definitely stay there again.

The location is great, right next to the station and within easy reach of several restaurants and amenities. Shinjuku is a 15-minute walk away, so there's no need to take a taxi or train. The place is super clean, with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and clean bathrooms. It's a family-friendly place, just like being at home. I didn't find anything negative.
• Hajime (7/5): ベッドでゆっくり寝られる・シャワーが使える・Wi-Fiが使える、と最低限の設備はそろっているのでコスパは良いと感じた。 - 新大久保駅から近く、リーズナブルな価格で利用しやすかった。 共用スペースにある電子レンジやポットが利用可能。 個室の冷蔵庫もあり、4合瓶や1Lの飲料も冷やすことのできるサイズであった。 到着前に部屋番号が頻繁に変更になった。最終的に現地スタッフの方に案内された部屋に通された。 部屋の防音性が高くないため、ほかの宿泊者の音が気になった。 1Fのシャワールームを利用したが、ボディーソープが2種類とトリートメントの組み合わせになっていて シャンプーがなかった。 早朝にシャワールームを利用しようとした際に、玄関から知らない人が入ってこようとしていた。 ⇒セキュリティ面に難あり？

• Isabelle (5/5): - Was very sceptical after reading the reviews, yes the room wasn’t perfect (hairs on the bed) and not very clean but the lady that people seem to be complaining about was actually very lovely to us. We are backpacking so our bags are huge, she helped me carry my stuff down the stairs and offered coffee in the morning, her English clearly wasn’t great but she still tried to communicate with us. Overall, not horrific for only one nights stay.

They gave me 1 towel…it was the kind you dry your hands with, not body sized. I found a pair of used underwear under the bed and a red stain (looked almost like spaghetti sauce) on the bedding.

La mujer llamó a la puerta varias veces con la excusa de llevar agua para comprobar que no teniamos zapatos en la habitación o incluso las maletas todas en el suelo. Vimos como entro en la habitacion de al lado cuando no estaban para comprobar alguna cosa. Parecia la tipica madre controladora de un niño adolescente...

Was yelled at and ushered out without the chance of seeing if I left something. Check out time said 11am, at 10.05am staff knocked and yelled at me to get out, very unpleasant. Dirty sheets on bed, smelly and not cleaned.

Just 5 mins walk from Shin Okubo station (which is on the Yamanote line), so reaching other parts of Tokyo was really easy and fast. Property was kept very clean. The staff (owner lady) at the property is VERY RUDE. Her old age is no justification for her rude behavior. She doesnt talk properly, and doesnt respect your privacy as well. But after i complained to the phone number on the booking website (which was someone else communication on her behalf), she got better and behaved well afterwards. The facilities at the property are shared and are bare minimum that every guest expects. But a little disappointed with the facilities though.
• Maria (1/5): Dont ever book this place - The location is very accessible and convenient, thats the only thing good on the accommodation First, the room doesn't have any chair to sit with. It mentionecd about the walls being sound proof but all the noises can be heard regardless if noise outside or inside. Aircondition remote not even been given to us in the first place. Then to top it up, there's a rude lady who manned the whole floors and watching all our moves. She even goes straight to our room and open our balcony without asking any permission at all. Knocking you out of toilet even when you just have been there for a minute. Honestly, I won't book this if I knew about this lady is running this place. I don't know why Booking.com is allowing this accomodation on their listing, The message sent to us mentioned about being unmanned facility but honestly is not unmanned at all. If I can rate this place a zero rate, that probably what its entitled to.

• Millie (1/5): I wouldn’t stay here again and i really wish i read the reviews before i booked. - We strongly disliked the old granny who monitored every single one of our moves. She would even watch us brush our teeth. She entered our room when we weren’t there because apparently it was windy and our window was open, we shut it before we left. The photo below shows her den, where she will just sit there staring at you. We didn’t feel safe at all in this hostel.

• Franco (2/5): Very poor - Location We had a highly disappointing experience during our stay at this property in Tokyo. The owner, who seems to live in a small hallway outside the rooms, was extremely inconsiderate of her guests. She woke up early, made noise, and frequently talked on her phone using the speaker, both early in the morning and late at night, disturbing our rest. Despite our efforts to be polite, even offering her a McDonald’s takeaway (which she refused), her behavior was consistently rude. One of the rooms, where my children stayed, had a strong kimchi odor. The owner also entered our rooms without permission and took the air conditioning remote, leaving us unable to control the temperature. Communication was a major challenge due to a significant language barrier, and we had to use Google Translate to communicate with her. Her behavior became more intrusive over time. She often stood outside our door, monitoring us whenever our kids came to talk to us. On the day of check-out, she told us via Google Translate that we could leave our luggage until 2 PM. However, when we returned at 12 noon to retrieve our belongings, she was visibly annoyed, hastily handed over our luggage, and slammed the door in front of us. Additionally, as we were doing our final room check, she began cleaning up, rushing us out. This experience was uncomfortable and stressful. I would not recommend this property to anyone seeking a pleasant and relaxing stay in Tokyo.

There's an old lady staying in the house, probably she's the owner. Very strict in the house rules. Monitors guests' movement (Ex: Strict 25° temp for aircon, limited shower time, you cant use CR of other floors) making it hard for us to feel at ease.. She cant understand english so it's hard to ask questions. Glad we booked only for 1 night because it really feels uncomfortable if we'll be staying for more days
• Tessier (1/5): Horrible - Absolutely nothing Everything.
• Moudud (2/5): Very poor - Property is good . Staff old lady Korean is not good she language very bad.
• Theo (5/5): They need to to treat people with outmost respect, when I got to the hotel my room was changed and the lady was not so - the place was clean and tidy its a SCAM OF A PLACEthe is an old lady who was in charge , I booked for 2 people because I knew that I will meet someone at the club, my friend left his bags 20:45pm and collected his bags 4am as he was going to Hokkaido, I booked this hotel because I knew I might meet someone at the club and they made me pay 5000 yen extra just for bringing someone when my friend didn't even use the room HE DID NOT EVEN USE THE SHOWER or THE TOILET , it's unfair.
• Folakemi (10/5): Comfortable, central and perfect location. Facilities where perfect and staff was super friendly and helpful - The aesthetic and look of the property is lovely. I felt at home the moment I walked through the door Nothing
• Makoto (5/5): Passable - it’s a korean hostel. much better than expected. clean room & shower room. good mom, thanks.

• Juvy (5/5): Passable - The place is centrally located and very accessible to the metro station. Shinjuku area is just 10mins away by foot, there are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby for late night snacking or meal. Unfortunately there were cockroaches in our room. The lady which I believed is the owner is quite rude to my sister which she deliberately asked to get out of the shower coz she needs to clean area. If there are certain times that the shower needs to be cleaned or must not be used then the owner/manager could have put a note so that everyone is aware, apparently none (only a note that says to keep the shower time short). She also comes in the room and tries to get rid of paper bags. Privacy should be considered as well.
• Caleb (6/5): Clean, friendly staff, but slightly disorganized, and only one bathroom for all 20 or so beds. - The question asks "what did you think of breakfast," but there was no breakfast, so if they're advertising this, it doesn't exist. The old korean lady and her son? that run this place are SUPER nice and accommodating. I guess it's a new place, so whatever room I booked on booking was already booked out, so they gave my friend and I a 6 person room for ourselves. If that didn't happen to be available that night though, we would have been SOL. Anyway they were nice about it and always happy to help. I'm pretty sure there's one toilet and one shower (thank god, they're separate) for this entire property of like, 6 rooms and maybe 20 or more beds? Luckily it wasn't too full on our trip but I can see that becoming a nightmare fast. It was clean, at least.
