Wilfried (9/5): - Die Wohnung gehört zu einem Landgut mit weiteren Wohnungen. Die Eigentümer wohnen ebenfalls auf dem Gelände. Sehr angenehme Leute - Engländer, die vor über 20 Jahren dort wohnen. Die Wohnung war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche enthielt alles, was man braucht. Es gibt ein Schwimmbad und eine große Wiese mit Möglichkeiten für Kinder zu spielen. Gegenüber befindet sich eine Reitanlage, die auch Ponyreiten anbietet. Die Wohnung war, auch bei Sonnenschein, dunkel, da es nur kleine Fenster gibt.

Nekole (10/5): Exceptional - This place is a true gem! A made-to-order country breakfast by a professional chef, was a delicious and wonderful surprise. The place had so many surprises for kids! A giant field to play soccer, loaner bikes of varying sizes, bocce ball, punching bag/ gloves, ping pong, bins of toys (including cars, Legos, etc), guinea pigs, goldfish pond, and horse riding stables next door! a There's a shared kitchen so that you can cook meals for picky tiny eaters including larger than average refrigerator/freezer space. They have an outstanding pool as well! The service from the staff is warm and welcoming. I could go on and on, but I definitely recommend this place which has so much to offer and is in a rural location but only a 5-10 min drive to several charming towns.

Janine (9/5): Superb - Lots of space and good kitchen in two bedroom gite. Kitchen is well equipped. Screens on doors were good idea. Pool is nice for kids. There are so many things to see within a half hour drive. We added the half day cooking school and loved the experience. Expensive but super high quality ingredients and equipment. Hard to find although owners gave clear directions. Our gps didn’t allow coordinates so we had to follow corner by corner directions.
Claudia (10/5): This is a relaxing home base to see the various Dordogne sites. - Delicious and a variety of choices. Local produce, fresh fruit in season and local breads, honey, butter, jams, cheese were devine, varied and healthy. Biking, paths for running or walking, a pool ;outdoor seating and dining were available. A good place that accommodates families and adult travelers alike. Cooking lessons are available and should not be missed if you love to cook and eat local Perigorde food. Ian and Sara are knowledgeable and pleasant hosts.

C (8/5): Good/ nice/ relaxing. - Nice breakfast; good quality. Surrounding is what you choose. This was quiet and remote. Always a package deal; you get horses and piece and flies. A walk is perfect. For facilities you have to travel there was nothing we did not like. Nice and quiet We joined the local cooking class. It was very good. The only remark is the pricing: A little bit on the steep side (175 pp) 125-150 would have been the range I would expect. Otherwise very well done. o and the wifi. not very stable. Improvement is on the way (fibre)

Also, had a kitchenette and clothes washer for some self catering options. Sara and Ian are simply the best hosts. If they accepted credit cards or at least publicized that they did not.

Mary (9/5): Lovely stay in beautiful French countryside - Lovely stay! Our hostess was friendly and helpful, very satisfying breakfast made to order. Quiet, beautiful grounds and location, just minutes from town and some of the prehistoric caves, and convenient to the Dordogne River valley. Highly recommend! Not really a dislike, but just a note - as in much of France and Europe, no air-con for us spoiled Americans, but we were fine with the windows open.
