Guest Reviews
- Martin (8/5): Great wee place to stay owners were so lovely and down to earth -
- Philip Baldwin (9/5): - It's a work of art, with lots of attention to little practical details. A light in the shower would be useful.
- Kaelen (10/5): Joni & Jimi were so accomodating during our stay, even while they were away with family for xmas. The mudhouse is tr -
- Paul (3/5): Would not recommend, obviously you get what you pay for but we won't be staying again. - Grounds were very messy and unkempt, lots of junk lying round.
The outdoor bath that was advertised was unusable and filthy
- Gillian (9/5): The mud house - Unique, beautiful place, a work of art, quiet and comfortable
- Tanja (5/5): Schade, könnte schöner sein. - Das Haus hätte sehr viel Charme, wenn die Umgebung ordentlicher wäre. Es stand viel Müll und Schrott herum, was wir nicht einladend fanden.
- alan (10/5): In our 5 week tour voted this our best place to stay - Quirky and unique. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Has everything you need for a self catering stay. Some may find the facilities basic but they fit in perfectly with the repair/renew/recycle message that the mud house conveys. Nothing
- Kimberly (10/5): Gaudi-like private cottage, great for single or couple. - Quirky eco-conscious property with a Gaudi-like decor. Private building behind the family house. Loved the outdoor shower and sitting area, complete with grill. Homeowner is so nice. This cottage is behind a private home. Mailbox with house number is partially hidden, look for the colorful mailbox on the right side of the driveway. N/A

- Jason (7/5): Pretty cool. Positives outweigh the negatives and I'd consider staying again :-) - Liked the uniqueness, earthy feel, and really liked the large outdoor deck with couch and table. Bed was comfy, Kitchen had all the basics. It was a nice temperature inside in November, with no noticible sandflies or mosquitoes. BBQ provided, though we didnt use it, a bbq on that deck weould be lovely. Fridge was a generous size. Shower had hair and body wash products, and a view of nature which I enjoyed. Some railing around the deck would be a good idea I think. Also nearly clobbered by a falling 4x2 above the toilet door. Suggest you get someone professional over to give it a good look over to make sure its all safe. Congrats on your DIY talent and hard work, but the falling board incident gives me second thoughts.
I suggest a toilet should be plumbed if youre paying over a hundred a night, didnt know it was going to be a rustic short drop. I guess some people will think of it as a quirky feature and wont mind.
- Fathers (7/5): Really enjoyed - Easy to find, quirky beautiful space. Warm, giant deck and sofa! Birds in the morning. Joni was calm and easygoing-i was running very late. Would stay again. Recommend.
- Sarah (9/5): - It felt cozy and peaceful and the bed was super comfy. I liked the commitment to sustainability too and felt very welcomed.
- Hope Moore (10/5): - Magical little home
- Jonni (9/5): Beautiful, quirky, cosy and peaceful. Would love to stay again. Feels like a fairtytale. -
