Guest Reviews
- lynne (9/5): Lovely stay - Location was great No double glazing on front bedroom window, busy road outside, so noisy
Showers were not good, no power!
- Heidi (9/5): - Very spacious and well laid out apartment. Beautifully furnished and large functional kitchen! The location was perfect for us to visit family in the village. We experienced issues with the shower/plumbing but the team were quick to address this and very responsive.
- Jaroslav (10/5): What a place, what an area to spend time in, what a wine downstairs in winebar - Beautiful Place to stay Water pressure in the showers is not enough.
- Ian (9/5): A great place for a family get together. - The Wine Loft is a perfect property for a family weekend get together. It had everything we needed for a great stay and was warm and comfortable. Loughborough train station is just 10 mins away. The village was busy in the evenings and the free car park was a problem (but we found a parking spot on a side road). Being above the Wine bar there was some unexpected (music?) noise on Friday night.
- The Travelling Chef (10/5): A very relaxing stay with family and new friends in a delightful old worldy village setting! - The communication from booking through to check out was timely and efficient. Instructions to access the property, where to park etc were clear and on point.
The property itself is larger than we expected which made the stay even more comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and very big! The lounge and dining room are well appointed and 8 adults ate comfortably around the table.
Bedrooms are nicely laid out with comfortable beds etc - the master bedroom is very big and has a bonus en-suite!
There was also a nice welcome surprise gift in the fridge! We had a great stay and really couldnt fault anything, definitely will consider staying here again when back in the UK.
- Duncan (6/5): Nice place, only stay if you like late night music... - Very spacious and good facilities Location, it is located over a bar which was still playing loud music until 1am on Friday and Saturday
Water pressure was poor, the shower was more a trickle...
- Tim (10/5): A great find in a lovely area. - Great location in a lovely area with plenty of local pubs / restaurants The showers hardly worked until we found a pump in the airing cupboard which we turned on. They were better after that.
- Tara (9/5): - Fantastic property, everything provided if you want to cook. Bus stop 2 min walk from the property which takes you straight to Loughborough.
- Aurora (10/5): - Beautiful home with everything we needed. Area is stunning. Great value for money!
- Steph (8/5): Lovely apartment, but needs effective way of contacting the management team - Very lovely apartment, tastefully decorated, well equipped, comfortable beds, and lovely bedding and towels. A couple of issues but it wouldn't stop us going back:
- Very loud music from wine bar below until 2.20am the first night, when upon going outside we finally discovered they had gone home and left the outside speakers playing loud music :( I emailed the contact email at 1.30am but the email bounced back as undeliverable.
- the washing machine didn't work - no power going into it though the plug was switched on. It was a problem as my son needed to wash his work clothes so we washed them by hand. My husband contacted the management by using the QR code on the wall. It took 24 hours for them to get back to us by which time we had left.
- Paul (10/5): Excellent property in lovely Leicestershire village - Great place, located in centre of the lovely village of Quorn. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and we found it perfect for a 2 night stay for my daughter’s graduation at Loughborough. The only fault we found was that the cooker hood was not working or maybe we didn’t know how to work it, but that was really a minor issue
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (10/5): Fantastic family time in an excellent location and great accommodation. - We loved everything about the apartment and the surrounding area.
Visited as a family to celebrate my son’s 21st Birthday, he is studying at Loughborough University and this was the perfect location.
Apartment had everything we needed and plenty of space for 6 people, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and of course the wine bar downstairs was a bonus!!
- Emily (9/5): Superb -
- Melanie (9/5): Perfect for our purpose of attending a wedding at Bradgate park with all the space for family with outdoor area to enjoy - Everything Low pressure in showers
- Vanya (8/5): Lovely spacious appartment - We loved how spacious the appartement was. We were attending a wedding during our stay and it was great being able to share an appartment with our family. Everything looks great as well. For an 8 person appartement, there is not a lot of furniture in the shared living room. (6person table)
Also, the pots and pans are a bit small to be cooking for all these people.
But, these are minor details. It would definitely not keep us from booking again!
- Stephanie (10/5): Excellent location, facilities and care from the owner and manager. - It’s rare to find a property with so much space. Nothing. It was great.
- Amy (10/5): Lovely area, clean and spacious - The Loft was Spacious clean and cosy
The bedrooms were a good size and the social area of kitchen, lounge & dining were all well spaces to allow a group. Nothing - just be ready to check out at 10, cleaners were already in and cleaning by 9:45!
