• Brunny55 (8/5): Great Location! - Modern kitchen & bathroom. Good shower. Great location with parking. Easy check in instructions sent in plenty of time. Bedding seemed to be covered in dog hair (not from our dog!) The accommodation is modern, but it is basic. Could benefit from some cushions, coffee tables and a footstool in the living room area and a few homely touches. Stairway could do with some updating.

• Neil (9/5): A nice place to get to know yourself. - A comfortable stay, nice and quiet. Nice a warm, and the shower was great, a rainfall shower... lovely. The only problem, it wasn't the owners fault, but the weather was very wet, and the day I left the sun came coutura to say hello 😊. However, staying in the lakes district is gorgeous no matter what the weather is doing. The rain!

• Tracy (10/5): Perfect! - I wanted somewhere to stay where I'd feel right at home and safe as for the first time I was travelling alone. Apartment was on the 1st floor with the car park at the back directly by the entrance door so easy access and provided everything I needed. Central to the high street, shops and restaurants and of course the lake but also lovely and quiet so enjoyed a couple of peaceful nights sleep! I'll certainly be returning with my husband, highly recommended.

• Jamie (7/5): Good value for money, couple of minor improvements could be made to improve the stay. - Comfortable, spacious. Ideal location. Decent enough value for money. Was freezing cold when we arrived, heaters were all set to 12 degrees, took a long time to get the rooms up to temperature. Neighbours were loud coming in at 00.30 but guess this cannot be helped staying alongside other apartments. Hot water had ran out on the Saturday morning also.

• Neil (9/5): Superb - Perfect location and base for our weekend away, close to pubs restaurants cafes etc. Nice cosy little apartment with the added bonus of parking. The narrow road to the car park, it's a bit tight if you have a large car. Easily passable if you take care though

• Ellan (9/5): Perfect base for the Lakes - The location was absolutely perfect, 2 minutes walk to the centre of Bowness, but also with some lovely rural walks right on your doorstep too. The flat was nicely furnished, with a small but comfortable sofa and a well equipped kitchen. The towels and bedding smelt lovely. It had everything we needed for a 4 night stay and was the perfect base. The owner also let us stay in the car park for a few hours after we'd checked out. We're planning to stay again in the future. The walls are a little thin, so if you're a very light sleeper then perhaps take some earplugs. The noise is minimal though

• Liam (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for a weekend in August and would definitely recommend. Only a short walk from pubs/bars/lake front. Apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. Kitchen had all cutlery needed and there was towels, toilet paper and a hairdryer. Bed was very comfortable, kingsize and room had a fan which was good for the summer evenings. The main shower head sprayed some water which then made bathroom floor and surroundings a little damp but no big deal. We saw reviews saying because it was apartments it can get noisy but we didn’t find this an issue, could occasionally just hear some of the other guests dogs barking above/next to us. Perfect place for what we needed. Thanks for having us
• Nicholas (6/5): Good break, great location for centre of Bowness, private car parking - Last minute booking (week before) was very easy. Arrived late 7pm, easy to use door code then keycode box for apartment key. Location is perfect. Car parking available but tight. Whole apartment smelled of dog, especially the sofa, which we had to cover with a blanket before we could use. Basic apartment which is OK for a few nights, but would have been hard staying longer. For example, only storage is one wardrobe cupboard in bedroom. There was nowhere to hang coats, or to store outdoor wet shoes. Maybe suggest installing hooks on the back of the doors?

• Trish (9/5): Modern and comfortable apartment in a good location - The property was very comfortable and modern with everything you need. The location was perfect just a short walk from the main street. There was a little bit of noise from the apartment above us. The access road takes time to drive down as it is quite narrow
• Caroline (10/5): Perfect enjoyed our stay at Pike O’Blisco - Lovely base in Bowness, very clean, tidy and cosy. Nothing, apart from 3 attempts to find it due to the sat nav taking us to the rear of the property. The host was really helpful in guiding us in. Thank you :)

The host was easily accessible through the app and replied very quickly. Easy instructions to access the location and apartment. The WiFi wasn't able to connect in the living room but was fine in the bedroom.

• Phyllida (8/5): A lovely modern hideaway in the centre of Bowness - First of all this apartment was an absolute gem. After our Airbnb cancelled on us whilst we were on route to the Lake District we booked this about an hour before check in time. Owen was so friendly and helpful and immediately texted me all the check-in details and was on hand if needed. The apartment itself is modern, cosy and was very pleasant. It's right off the main high street but was exceptionally quiet - we even had the bedroom window open most nights with no disturbances. The kitchen was also well equipped and we cooked a few meals there. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, and my god the sheets smelled amazing! I loved the bedroom especially, it was lovely. Could do with a more thorough clean - there were hairs on the bed and lots of dead fruit flies on the bathroom windowsill. The WiFi doesn't reach the sitting room so I used up all my phone data whilst sitting on the sofa, and the people above us kept us awake on the second night there by walking around for literally the entire night. Not sure why they even booked accommodation as apparently they don't sleep! Luckily they left after a few days and then the apartment was extremely peaceful and quiet.
• Chris (9/5): Great 2 night stay, even better with a few slight improvements - Loved the location and the ease of checkin I felt like it could have been a little cleaner. Bathroom had mould on the shower and just didn’t feel it was as clean as it could be. Hallway was always full of grass which didn’t bother me as such. As people mentioned the road leading up to it is very tight but manageable. It’s short of a couple of side tables in the living room and maybe a tv in the bedroom as the sofa is tiny and would have been nice to chill out on the bed with sone tv.

Not that I didn’t like it, but can imagine some people would struggle with getting in and out the car park. Also the up hill (again I’m used to Windermere so no issue) just worth mentioning incase people are unaware (again nothing to do with the accommodation)

It was withing easy walking distance of everything in Bowness. Vehicle access was a bit tight but easily manageable with care.

• Anna (8/5): Perfect location for a 2 night stay in Bowness. - The location was great, although had issues locating the property, this was easily solved by contacting the owner. He was very happy to help. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest iv stayed in, I found really dark long hairs around the bin.
• David (10/5): Love ever minute. - Everything about the apartment very modern and comfortable. The directions are not very clear it put you at the dead end on Craig walk when you put the post code into google maps but it need to state you need to come from helm road side to get into the car park but apart from that I love everything else.
• Abbi (10/5): Amazing, dog friendly property in the best location with allocated parking! - Amazing location with free parking right in the heart of bowness. The property is in strolling distance to pubs, restaurants, shops and the waterfront. The apartment itself was like brand new, clean with great amenities, working wifi and fabulous shower pressure. Hosts had also left us a fan in the bedroom which was a lovely touch in the soaring summer temperatures. The information pack had dog friendly local walks which was an added bonus for us. We had an amazing stay and plan to return!
