- Silvia (10/5): Wonderful homestay with great garden - Definitely the place to go if you go to Gia Nghia - the pants and garden are spectacular and we had lots of fun paying with the 4-year old in the house. We can’t wait to go back ♥️
- Colin (10/5): The authentic Vietnamese experience so many chase, and so few are treated to. - First off, Gia Nghia is off the tourist track and a bit obscure. I decided to stay in town as it made sense with regard to a good place on the map to stop after my first day driving the Ho Chi Minh Road. The town is so much more than just a stop of point. It’s a beautiful, quaint, very authentic Vietnamese town in the central highlands and deserves serious consideration. I’ve loved my time here! As for Ly’s Homestay, it may have been the single best homestay experience I’ve had anywhere in the world. Ly, Vu, and family are the most wonderful family you’ll ever meet. I had an opportunity to share a meal with them, and it was one I’ll never forget. Vu always has a smile on his face and will treat you like a member of his own family. My room was HUGE, spotless, and clean. The window looks out on a nice little garden, and the house is located up on the hill and a little out of town (a 20 minute walk). A stay with this family is one well worth it. Fantastic all around!
- Janie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hila (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (10/5): Would recommend to anybody wanting to stay in Dak Nong. A great alternative to expensive hotels. - Very clean, cozy, and welcoming! Beautiful outdoor area. Gate closes at nighttime, so make sure to communicate with them ahead of time or call them
- Alec (10/5): Cozy and conveniently located homestay for a great price - This is an adorable and clean homestay in a convenient location. Tons of cafes and scrumptious street food within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. The outside is decorated with beautiful lights and plants. Very Instagramy :)
Initially, I had some concerns traveling around Dak Nong with very limited Vietnamese. However, the homestay onwer was very accommodating which quickly erased my worries. He helped me communicate with my bus driver and even dropped me off at the pickup location. He speaks great English and gave me helpful suggestions. He even told me that he started his homestay business to increase tourism to this underated and beautiful province and improve his English. Staying here was one of my favorite experiences in Vietnam.
Additionally, the homestay rents manual motorbike for 100k per day. I really enjoyed the ride to Ta Dung National Park. I can't wait to return to Gia Nghia and stay at Ly's Homestay again.
- Huu (9/5): Superb -
- Trung (8/5): Very good -
- Mathieu (10/5): Exceptional - A very nice and welcoming family, the father communicates well in English. The house is spacious enough to feel quiet.
As the description stated, there was no air conditioning, but the house was cool enough during my stay in April.
- Hung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xuan (7/5): We had a comfortable stay if one night. - Simple and clean. Convenient location. Nothing
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Rita (10/5): The house is clean, the owner is very friendly and helpful. - The home is clean and the bed is comfortable Nothing
- Matthias (3/5): We can not recommend this homestay. - It was easy to rent a motorbike, because the owner of the homestay just rented hers for 100k/Day.
Before we left, there was an older man who speaks English and he was helpful, but he was the only one. When we arrive the staff did not even speak a single word in English. And she did not know how to use google translate.
The room was not clean, there were hairs on the floor and even on the toilet.
There is still no A/C in the room. You can not close the windows properly, so you have to bring your own mosaito net.
The next morning someone opened our locked door at 8 am and wanted to come in!!
We did not feel welcome at this homestay, they are not interessted in their guests, they just see the money.
- Marcell (10/5): unexpected surprise - Everything. Family of the hosts are amazing, beautiful people, expect everything what you were told about Vietnamese hospitality- they even invited us for a family/friends dinner! Room was spacious and amazingly clean (plus point for comfy mattress), we chose room without aircon but fan was enough, bathroom facilities were all right, area in which homestay is located is a bit further from the centre, but don't you worry- Gia Nghia is small enough that you won't struggle. Home looks like a little jungle as family is growing a lot of plants and flowers in the garden. We came as a guests, but I felt like we left as part of the family. Best wishes for you guys, we hope to see you in future- hopefully when I will learn how to use chopsticks better ❤️

- Brook (10/5): A beautiful place with a beautiful family - A beautiful place to stay with a beautiful family. I am cycling and they were very accomodating. They have recently opened this home stay and I wish them all the best. I recommend staying here to anybody..
