• Christian (9/5): Supermooie villa in nog mooiere omgeving - Perfecte locatie. Dicht bij strand en toch midden in de jungle voor je gevoel. Tuin is prachtig en alles ziet er top onderhouden uit inclusief het luxe zwembad. Villa is heel erg mooi en ligt in een omheinde omgeving. We zijn veel meer in de buurt van de villa gebleven dan ons oorspronkelijke plan, omdat het zo’n fijne omgeving was. Alle daken zijn hier van aluminium en de villa staat onder een boom waar met enige regelmaat vruchten uitvallen. Dat maakte zoveel herrie dat dit veelvuldig onze nachtrust verstoorde.

Ausserdem ist das Haus toll eingerichtet, mit hervorragenden Betten ausgestattet, sehr grschmackvoll gestaltet und in beiden Zimmern sind die (Aussen-) Duschen ein absoluter Highlight. Toll.

• Joachim (10/5): Kleines Paradies zum Entspannen! - Der Weg vom privaten Parkplatz zur Villa war schon an sich ein Traum! Ein wunderschöner Garten! Nach dem Betreten der Villa haben wir uns gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt! Die Aufteilung mit den drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern im ersten Stock ist prima! Es gibt genug Stauraum und Ablageflächen! Die Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten war wunderschön und lädt zum Entspannen ein! Einzig dir Küche könnte noch ein bisschen besser ausgestattet sein (z.B. Nudelsieb oder ein Schäler). Zum Strand gelangt man über einen kurzen Spaziergang über die Straße durch ein Stück Wald, was an sich aber schon ein schöner Spaziergang war - der Strand selber ist super schön - sehr naturbelassen und nicht zu überlaufen. Über den Strand kommt man zu Fuß auch schnell ins Ortsinnere von Santa Teresa. Und zu guter letzt haben wir uns auch sehr gut betreut gefühlt! Mike hat auf jede Anfrage sofort - vielen Dank dafür!! • Dyane (10/5): Séjour Magique - TOUT c’est un endroit merveilleux, idéalement placé entre Playa El Carmen et Malpais. La maison est spacieuse, harmonieuse et très bien équipée. • Bruno (8/5): Muy recomendable - El Hotel era precioso, si que es verdad, que en un primer momento pensábamos que era otro estilo de villas, y al final es como una pequeña urbanización de villas con una piscina compartida (algo pequeña), para todas las villas. La piscina siempre estuvo vacía asi que perfecto. De todas maneras, tienes la playa a 2 minutos andando, ya que hay un pequeño camino, que se puede ir también en coche, por lo que tampoco es tan necesaria piscina. No pondría como que no me gusto, pero si que es verdad es que el baño de nuestra villa era "abierto" solamente por arriba, y fue una cosa que no nos esperábamos. Aunque la experiencia fue muy divertida para el tema de la ducha, para el caso del baño, daba un poco de cosa ir al baño y que el vecino que pasara por ahí te pudiera escuchar. El pueblo donde están los restaurantes esta a 10 minutos caminando, por lo que casi siempre se ha de coger el coche. Puedes ir andando, pero si es muy oscuro has de tener cuidado, pero es sencillo y hay luz.

En la habitación principal hay una ducha abierta a la selva que es muy agradable. Me sorprendió no tener microondas para calentar comidas y bebidas. Cuando viajas con familia es fundamental. Tampoco se puede lavar y secar la ropa. Sugiero estos puntos a mejorar a la propiedad.

Oh, let me brag about Laura as well. She was amazing the entire trip and beforehand. Laura booked all our excursions, taxis, and the private chef experience. The property was gorgeous. The villa was located in an area where we had privacy. The pool was clean and well maintained. The water was the right temperature. The villa was very clean and spacious. I truly enjoyed the shower in master bedroom. You could open the shades for a little ambiance while showering. No worries, nobody can see you.

The cleaning staff did a great job every day, ensuring everything stayed spotless. The bathroom was really nice, with warm water, and the bed was big and very comfortable. The living room was also a great place to relax, with a spacious and cozy sofa. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute walk to the city and very close to the beach. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed :) Overall, I would 100% recommend D’Palm Villas to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay.

The pool is a shared space between the villas and the beach is a few minutes walk. There is daily housekeeping which is done to a high standard.

My stay there was exceptional, and the experience was beyond what I expected. Mike, the manager, consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests are delighted. His genuine care shines through, aiming to guarantee everyone has a fantastic time in Mal Pais. The villas are stunning. They're newly constructed, thoughtfully designed, snug, modern, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. It's a fusion of contemporary tropical vibes and a beach cottage nestled in the jungle. The location is unbeatable: nestled in the serene, verdant jungle of Mal Pais, yet just a stone's throw from the vibrant restaurants and stores of Santa Teresa. Plus, it's a mere 5-minute walk to the beach. If you're planning a trip to the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, I wholeheartedly recommend D'Palms villas. I, for one, will surely return.

The villas are located close to a great stretch of a beach and are very comfortable and stylishly decorated. Mike and Emilia were welcoming and available to give us tips on where to eat in Santa Teresa, as well as helping us to arrange surfing lessons. We'd love to come back in the future!
