• Ferry (5/5): - Er is maar 1 wc en die is in de badkamer, dus dat is redelijk vervelend met meerdere personen. Daarnaast is alles best wel verouderd. De openhaard trekt echt slecht waardoor de buiten altijd in de rook zit als je gezellig een borrel drinkt.
• Susan (9/5): Perfect house, poor management company systems - The property was perfect for us. We loved the location, close to the town but in quiet residential area. The pool and outside area is lovely. The apartment is the first floor of a larger villa but you have sole use of the outside pool area. We would definitely like to stay again when we are Calpe. With regard to the property the bed could be more comfortable and for winter use a duvet would be nice rather than blankets. However our stress came from the management company who look after the property. Their systems and lack of communication detract significantly from the overall experience. Firstly they (or maybe booking.com) were hacked and our details obtained. This resulted in several Wattsapp messages from the hackers on the evening before we arrived. This resulted in my bank card having to be blocked. An inconvenience when away on holiday. We then received no communication from plusholidays, to the extent that we thought the whole booking was a scam and expected no property on arrival. Check in was then straight forward but no apology from the company until the last day for ignoring our messages. This was after we visited the offices twice. They also require a large deposit (not needed in our three other similar bookings in Spain). This was taken on our credit card. As others have said this takes a while to be transfer back but not to our credit card. They needed our bank details to make a transfer back to our bank account. After the previous scam we definitely we nervous about suppling personal details. Anyway no other option to get the money back. This process took 7 days and we lost money on the exchange rates/bank fees! Not a good system at all when they could just put a hold on a credit card.

• Alfons (8/5): Aangenaam maar de villa is toe aan een opfrisbeurt - Zwembad Het buitenmeubilair is aan vernieuwing toe , vuile tuinkussens , en veel vuil in zwembad van de bomen ernaast.
