Damian (8/5): Charming place overlooking the town and tea plantations - It is located on the hilltop with beautiful views over the valley. Haputale itself is a magical town, one of the most beautiful ones in Sri Lanka. The host was great with arranging of trips around (Horton NP, Lipton Seat and Diyaluma Falls) that were tailored to our needs and very reasonably priced. We really appreciated it! Rooms could have been cleaner (for example, there was quite thick layer of dust on the wardrobe). As the place is quite new, you could feel smell of cement that is still drying.
Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - This is indeed a foggy house. The location is wonderful with a great view. It is completely private and feels like home. We ordered food and it was delicious. The staff is always ready to help. We stayed just one night here. But, We will definitely come back here on our next trip for a few nights. Highly Recommended! ❤️
Nobuko (8/5): Top of the hill - The view from the house, the friendly and attentive staff, clean room and hot shower. It being secluded is the part of the charm, but it was hard to drive up on the steep, narrow, and winding hill. It was very windy in the evening and throughout the night, and a piece of loose metallic siding or something was making a constant banging noise. The view can be, like the name suggests, obstructed in the fog.
