Guest Reviews
- Fiona (8/5): Very comfortable - It was quiet and spacious No oven
- Cheryl (10/5): Fab apartment close to city but quiet location - Everything really. It's a lovely apartment in a quiet setting considering it's a city location.
We really liked it and would stay again another time.
Host was really friendly and always very quick to respond to any questions, and to check we were all ok on arrival. Nothing
- Anthony (10/5): Perfect - Everything Nothing

- Cardiff (9/5): - Lovely stay and the property is really nice and well looked after with a great location
- Russell (9/5): Cosy apartment in a quiet and secure location close enough to the city centre to walk in. - It was a cosy apartment...but not small. It was a lovely size with all of the facilities required for our stay. The location was wonderful...based in the old Plymouth Naval Hospital it was a secure and wonderfully quiet location. The walk to Plymouth Hoe was only 20-25 minutes or so. Nothing. We really enjoyed our short stay.
- Richard (9/5): - Location Milk on arrival
- Lardybug81 (6/5): First bad review- minibreak - Free parking. Wifi. Size of rooms. Bedding and towels provided (although see negative). Owner was friendly but not helpful. Shower was powerful and clean as was bathroom but needs treating for mould on shower base. Failure to mention staircase. Lack of oven trays. No hot drinking cups *1 between 3 of us* the rest was wine/beer glasses.
Towels were not clean or soft. B3d in master room was awful and sunk in middle. Bedding was visibly dirty with previous users makeup. See images. I can only upload 4 iv got more. Loads of broken things left around like a cheese board, screws in walls etc for the cost of this apartment id expect better. Hairs in the bed.. (iv a pixie cut, definitely not mine) my husband sat on a chair that after we thought it was odd and didn't match the other 5, (or advert photos) it collapsed under him causing shoulder and neck injuries. Upon inspection it has been fixed before and was not suitable to be left in the apartment, my husband only weighs about 13st so wasn't due to his size. For a place that states no parties, the volume of glasses for wine/beer and openers says otherwise, added to the chalk board reviews #leedslads etc 6 chairs round a table for a place that sleeps 4. Loads bulbs missing or not working meant poor lighting also. Tv was intermittent and often cut out (not sure in bed rooms didn't try) owner claimed to have visited during stay but didnt. Will not be coming back. If "Zee" replies I can always send other images of the apartment which are less than flattering. Dirty bedding/towels dangerous window fixings, burns on carpet, mouldy apple in draw, kitchen side filthy with black mould round sink, out of date food in cupboards, wet teabags left on windowsills. Lack if cleaning stuff like a mop/brush etc [was polite on text to owner for risk of being asked to leave if I complained, we were too far from home for that level of stress]
- Felicity (10/5): Great location for visiting the surrounding area. - It’s a great comfortable space with everything we needed for our stay. It’s a great location and feels safe Nothing not to like

- Ceren (10/5): -
- Nathan (10/5): Fantastic - Fantastic place to stay close to city centre, felt very safe. Hosts were brilliant nothing was to much trouble.
- Katina (9/5): - Great location, the flat is very spacious and has everything that you need. N/A
- Clare (9/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): - Really nice place, absolutely spotless, very happy with my stay.

- Hart (10/5): Lovely home, very clean and comfortable. The property felt very safe and quiet, the perfect place to relax for the weeke - Lovely home, very clean and comfortable. The property felt very safe and quiet, the perfect place to relax for the weekend.
- Charley (9/5): Apartment was beautiful, spotless and great host too. - Brilliant place to stay, close to the main centre and is secure in beautiful private grounds, lovely residents there saying hello and good morning, The property and host was amazing, it was bigger then we expected and the hosts guided us through the check in process by a msg through booking.com on the morning of arrival and checked to see if we had settled in the next day. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed and more. Loved the little touches like cotton bedding, fluffy towels and the chalk board to write a msg in the kitchen. Kitchen was fully stocked of everything you could think of (other then a spatular) Really good attention to detail with this property. Will be booking this again next time we are in plymouth. No spatular to cook with in the morning or anything else simliar so had to use a butter knife to flip eggs in the morning lol.
- Heather (9/5): Sad to leave. Felt like home. Really lovely to stay in a dog friendly space that’s been so nicel -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (9/5): Beautiful building and friendly hosts - The property was a fantastic size. Two bedrooms, a lovely living room and a great kitchen. We loved how everything was decorated to feel like a home. The location was beautiful, in a lovely secure area.
Huge shout out to the hosts who were really attentive and friendly. n/a
- Christopher (10/5): Really nice place , very clean and comfortable - Would have preferred the heating to be left on , as it was a very cold day when we arrived
- Jenny (10/5): Lovely property in a great location. Comfy beds, great WiFi, nice layout. -
- Clare (9/5): Superb - I booked this property for my two colleagues working at The Port of Plymouth. It was clean, comfortable and the ideal location for work.
It also had somewhere to park which is a most sort after thing. Will definately book again if we are working in the area
- Adam (9/5): Excellent - will be staying again next time we visit. - Excellent host and the property décor etc was very tasteful. Nice, private and quiet. Met all of our requirements and then some. Highly recommend. Bed size - only because my wife and I are used to a larger bed. But as there were two rooms we survived! Can' fault however.
Could have done with an outside light at the front door, and a door mat, but again not a major problem.
- Felicity (9/5): Perfect location to enjoy Plymouth and the surrounding area - The location is perfect and the apartment is a comfortable space for us all and parking Nothing not to like.
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (8/5): Peaceful break in a quiet location that felt safe and made a great base to explore the area - Well located property that allows for a relatively easy walk into the town centre, Barbican or Royal William Yard and the ferries from these locations. Dartmoor within a short drive as well as some spectacular "secret" locations such as Rame Head and the less secret Cawsand and Kingsands via Mount Edgcumbe - host was friendly and kept in touch to make sure everything went smoothly. All good - minor niggles as in any location - TV seemed to have a mind of its own as to whether it worked but otherwise everything was as advertised!
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good value for the money we spent - Very cute apartment
Perfect for what we needed.. only there for less than 24 hours… just to sleep
In really .
Appeared well stocked … safe and secure
- Scotty (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, had a wonderful feel to it, light airy, very comfortable. Nothing worth mentioning
- Mark (9/5): Wonderful cosy, clean and spacious apartment. Would stay there again! - The location was quiet and felt very safe. The concierge was friendly and helpful.
Finally an apartment with a wonderful big table so everyone could fit around and have meals together!
The owner kept in touch and made sure that everything was OK. Great little welcome basket, very much appreciated after the long journey. Loved it.
- Sean (9/5): A very comfortable overnight stay. We would look to stay here again in the future. - Lovely property in a lovely location. Nothing
- Kathy (7/5): First impressions good but a few wrinkles to iron out. - Situated in lovely grounds and within walking distance of the town centre and sea front. Secure parking with concierge at entrance gate at all times. Main bedroom- very uncomfortable bed.
Second bedroom - unable to open window.
No info pack/folder about facilities within the property ie how to operate oven or set up Wi-Fi. Low toilet No sponge or brush to aid with washing up.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, walking distance to the city centre and the train station. Comfortable beds, convenient kitchen, very clean and spacious flat overall. Convenient check-in/check-out, very friendly and helpful host.
- Peter (8/5): Hospitality was very good - Position within Plymouth and history of surrounding buildings . Security at gate and well kept gardens .shower was very good and beds very comfortable A left over bottle of water in bedroom , again behind the shower and a big clump of hair on unit under television, very visible when sat on sofa .
- Po (8/5): Fine - The house was big and well-equipped. There was no dish detergent and the password for the wifi was incorrect. It was difficult to contact the host as we were foreigner and did not have a local phone number.
- Mark (9/5): Superb - It was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and quiet location. Only issue was no WiFi as password wouldn't work.
- Vince (10/5): Peaceful - Clean, bright and quite lovely! n/a
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kennaway (10/5): Beautiful place with secure environment - Lovely decor and very homely Low toilet and sink and no bath
- Joanne (9/5): Beautiful apartment - Flat was beautiful and in a great location. Spacious and light and well equipped. Would definitely stay again. Check in was a little late and there was no welcome pack as advertised. Zena offered to put this right but we had been to the shops by then.
Could do with some more mugs and cutlery and a washing up sponge, we used a tea towel!
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (10/5): Amazing! - We enjoyed everything about this property. Facilities were excellent. Nothing
- Eva (9/5): Superb - It's a lovely quiet location. As soon as you enter the property you get the feeling of a home.
There was a washing machine which had a drying facility and this was brilliant as I needed to use it. The cooking facility was straightforward, there were plates, cutlery, bowls, chopping board, a knife and pots. The dining table had more than enough space for us to eat. The bathroom was cosy and we were given toiletries to use including towels. The bedroom was 👏 absolutely brillant love the set up in each room.
Thanks for making it a brilliant stay. A* The stairs.
- Alison (6/5): Pleasant - Size of property and location in a walled development. Ease of parking and quiet. Very comfortable beds. There was no Wi-Fi… the connection was not working!
Kitchen not well equipped with basics … no bread knife or tea towels.
Very disappointed that cups and glasses were dirty, dusty and smudged… had to be washed thoroughly before use.
- Robert (10/5): Lovely location and very homely - Lovely host and location, nice and quiet, parking was great and the rooms were large spacious and clean. Location, property itself, very secure
- Guy (8/5): Very good -
- Felicity (10/5): Perfect location for visiting Plymouth. - This was the perfect location for us to visit devils point, the hoe and Plymouth Barbican. The property was warm, clean and comfortable. There was nothing not to like :)
- Paula (9/5): Fantastic bright airy apartment in a wonderful location - The apartment was very large and airy. In a quiet, safe gated complex There was nothing to not like 👍
- Amina (10/5): Highly recommend this clean and comfortable accommodation with great attention to detail. - Good setting within gated community providing a sense of security. Great views from all the windows. Large lounge and well organised kitchenette. Comfortable beds. Clearly a lot of thought and care given to the needs of guests.
- Mortimer (10/5): Roll on next year - It was self-catering accommodation
the best we have had .We are hoping to book again for next year when we sort out some date's
we are a pair of O A P and enjoyed the time we was there
We could see my Daughters House just across the field
My wife records when she was a child and the creek use to come up outside her house in EDGCOMBE Ave and played in the fields when it was covered over with earth Nothings was wrong
- Hale (8/5): Lovely place - The space, quality furniture, bedding. Close to everything, 15-20 minutes walk to town, to the Hoe, to the pavilion, little longer to the Barbican. Had to buy mugs as no coffee cups. Not a problem. Left them there for next visitors.
- Andrei (10/5): Perfect - The apartment was very comfortable, the design is adorable. The neighbourhood is very select. Nothing
- Taymara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb apartment but, too early check out of 10am on a Sunday - Very easy to park outside, comfortable beds (2 separate rooms with double beds) and seating with large TV and WiFi. Kitchen a bonus, fully equipped. Lovely decorated. Highly recommended. Had to go by 10am on a Sunday (they allowed until 10.30am), but I'm used to at least 11am and often 12 noon. It means would have to pay for an extra night so then maybe not economic to stay again, which is a shame as everything else was excellent.
- Malathi (8/5): Very good - Close to the City center. Quiet location.
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment. Quiet location. Friendly staff.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Cassian (8/5): Really beautiful flat in a quirky location, would recommend! - Strange and interesting location! :) Really beautiful flat, very clean (would not know it was a pets-allowed property), pleasantly decorated. Beds and sofas were very comfortable. Wifi was fast. Kitchen was well-supplied with just the right amount of perfectly useful utensils etc. Lots of thoughtful details, we had everything we needed and it was all intuitively located.
If you like watching and listening to sports from afar it's a good location! ;) [This was probably not the host's fault and she totally made it up to us, and if you like the look of it you should stay here anyway!] We were stuck locked out of the property on arrival for an hour or two, because the host had trouble messaging us via booking.com with the lockbox pin for some reason, and when we texted and called the host's various numbers she didn't answer for a while. However, she was very apologetic and made it up to us, and thankfully the weather was warm and dry, and the neighbour and security guy were very helpful and friendly.
It was VERY hot in every room during a heatwave due to the huge, west-facing windows.
- Helen (10/5): Lovely stay - This apartment is excellent. In a great location to explore both Devon and Cornwall
- Lindsay (10/5): Gorgeous Appartment 😍 - The Appartment is absolutely beautiful, a real home from home ❤️ would certainly stay again!! Our whole stay was perfect 🥰
- Sanna (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment - the pictures don't do it justice! It's lovely and spacious.
Security guards were super friendly and helpful in directing me.
Host was great - really easy to get hold of and very helpful.
Very quiet apartment - had a great sleep. Loved my stay! Very minor point - the sign to show where to park was very tiny, but that's really being picky. Essentially you park parallel to the apartment.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic property, lovely finishes. A real home from home. Perfect base for us, visiting the Life Centre Swimming Pool.
Great comms from Zena who helped made the whole process very easy, will def be booking again.
Thank you
- Moss (10/5): Plymouth - Great apartment with excellent facilities.
Very helpful staff
- Aaron (10/5): I can't wait to go back :) - I have been traveling back and from to Cornwall for ten years now and I have stayed at countless places and this is by far the most amazing place I have stayed at.
The property was extremely clean and had everything you could need, even a lovely treat left for us too. The property was so amazingly beautiful that I feel sad returning to my own property after having stayed here.
The owner Zena was an amazing lady who was so helpful and so kind that I would even add her to my Facebook account 😊
I highly recommend this property to everyone as it will fit anyone’s needs, family or business. The beds were so comfortable that I now need to buy a need bed at home 😊 the bathroom was spotless like the rest of the place and is also in an amazing location protected by security gates with maned staff.
I rate this property and the owner 20/10 and I am a very hard person to please when it comes to cleanness and facilities.
I will be booking again in a few days before someone else snaps up this property on the dates I need to go.
Thank you, Zena, for an amazing stay, me and my son felt so comfortable and safe.
- Malanki (10/5): Exceptional - very well maintained
- Anonymous (10/5): I will definitely go there again. - the property is extremely clean. very well tidy
secured with security at gate
neighbour very nice.
food can be ordered with Deliveroo and delivered within 30min
very easy to find from the Plumouth station then bus 70a to twin center then bus 21 to Lidl
then just cross the road and go straight I loved everything about my stay
- Mihai (8/5): Very good -
- James (9/5): Superb - very easy to find, great communication from host, very clean and well equipped. N/a
- Gareth (9/5): Lovely apartment. Plenty of space, quiet, clean and comfortable. -
- Cathryn (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - spacious, clean and comfortable good value for money thought the extra touches were nice, throws on sofa etc only very small suggestion slightly more cutlery as only 4 sets of each so had to wash up as we went along - but this really is very minor
- Fadhil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): If I’m ever back in Plymouth, I’d love to stay again! - Great location (45 minute walk, 10 minute taxi drive, to The Barbican / The Seafront), lush interior, comfy beds, absolutely immaculate in terms of cleanliness, free parking too!
- Nicholson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (7/5): Lovely apartment, responsive host but not a great late night winter arrival! - The apartment is stylish, clean and in a lovely gated community. Apartment and immediate surroundings are very attractive. The kitchen was well equipped, we would have been able to cook had the stay been longer, and both bedrooms were well sized and comfortable (it is a two double bedroom apartment despite the slightly contradictory Booking.com description). There is no private outdoor space at the apartment but you can park outside the door and the gated area has playing fields and spaces to walk around. The main living space is visually stunning, high, vaulted ceiling and very well decorated. However, it is a large space to heat and our visit was in winter…it took a long time for the space to feel warm - take fluffy socks, thick jumpers and hot toddy’s!! Once the heating got going it was ok and I must say the hot water was good. We also arrived late at night to find no toilet roll and no milk to make a hot drink. I’m used to a small supply of both at similar booking so had not thought to pack either for a weekend stay. I’d also taken the reference to tea bags and coffee in the property overview to mean we would be able to make a hot drink. The owner did leave toilet roll and an apology of home baked brownie/fizz on the doorstep for us the following day which was a lovely gesture, so cannot criticise the response…but it was a late, cold and grumpy arrival!! Perhaps more clarity in the description as I don’t mind taking my own supplies if I know they are needed…just not encountered it before.
- James (10/5): A Fantastic stay - a lovely modern fresh clean apartment with every possible piece of equipment you need, a real home from home ideal base to explore Plymouth and the surrounding areas. there is nothing to dislike about this property I would be very surprised if anyone found fault with it.
- Paul (9/5): Lovely apartment and we had a great stay - Thank you! -
- Janet (10/5): E loved itloved it here and would delicately stay again and recommend to others. Also dog friendly which is good as we h - Bright, clean and very spacious. The apartment has everything you could need. Good quality furnishings and some nice little extra touches, such as milk in the fridge, tea and coffee and 2 scones with jam and cream for our arrival. A little hard to find on the development as the light was fading and the signs not to clear. A little diagram map of the directions from the gate showing the actual property would be useful. It’s easy once you know. On booking website it mentions a two part address which was a bit confusing.
- Hailey (9/5): Amazing Apartment - The pictures do not do this amazing apartment justice! It is on a private, gated development which was lovely and quiet and not too far from the desirable Stonehouse area of Plymouth. It was considerably larger than we thought it would be! It is spacious, light and airy and stylish throughout with lovely cosy touches. The host Zena was very responsive and friendly and even left us out some completely delicious homebaked brownies she had made! The kitchen is a full size with everything you need for a longer stay and there are 2 bedrooms with lovely comfy beds. Access is key safe. There is parking for one car. Overall this place offers very good value for money. We will definitely be returning. Nothing!
