Guest Reviews
- Michael (9/5): -
- Andrea (7/5): Nice place - Location Water supply and lack of instrution for Cooper etc
- Sylvie Verinder (10/5): - Location
- Nick (8/5): It was a nice stay apart from the outside and the squeaky bed - Inside the apartment was great for what we needed and was very clean The double bed on the right side of the apartment was squeaky. Every time you moved in bed the bed frame squeaked. The front outside area was untidy and the furniture was not clean. This was a shame as the weather was good and it would have been nice to sit outside. The planters need removing and it needs a general tidy and clean up.
- Faye (10/5): Excellent.......will definitely return. - The location was perfect. The layout was great as my Dad has mobility issues plus the secure courtyard was ideal for my dog. No comment as everything was great.
- Michelle (10/5): Lovely stay in perfect location - Well kept and all facilities available Very small sink in side bedroom
- Sandra (10/5): -
- Richard (10/5): Great place on the front. Clean and compact. - Great location
- Ann (10/5): -
- tim (8/5): - Great location and welcomed with a Christmas tree and a bottle of wine Wrong code given to us to enter the key lock box !!
Has to phone the office of the letting agent who, luckily, were in to get correct code.
2 teabags and v cheap handwash,a shame as it was expensive to let and at that price it's the details that make a difference.
- Kim (9/5): Excellent location, very comfortable warm apartment with all the facilities needed for a short break - Excellent location on beachfront. Apartment was warm and decorated for Christmas which was a nice surprise. Would recommend to anyone wanting holiday accommodation in this area Key code was incorrect, but this was resolved very quickly with a phone call
- Martin (8/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): Wonderful Aldeburgh apartment with seafront at arms length. - Excellent location opposite the beach front.
Very well equipped, comfortable and homely.
Quiet at night, close to great pubs and eateries. All good.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Jeremy (9/5): - Fantastic location.
Nice flat
Great terrace. Bedrooms need curtains as well as blinds as it’s far too light from 4am.
- Linda (10/5): Lovely relaxing - Location is perfect, everything you need in the property Not a dislike, but shame about the seating out the front. Quite uncomfortable, there were rattan chairs as well last time but this time they were not there this time
- John (10/5): Long weekend away with a dog - The Apartment was perfectly situated and had everything we required Nothing to dislike, it’s a great place
- Jocelyn (9/5): We were delighted ti book so close to the beach at the last miniute. - Within sight of the sea… just. Close to High Street. Excellent decor.. cool greys and white. Attractive finishing touches. Pretty slipper bath! Two bathrooms! Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Front garden area could have plants. Insist on car free view. Ie no parking right in front of house.
- Bruce (7/5): Great location but the outside area was not as described - The outside area needs some TLC. The garden furniture was broken, weeds through the stonework and the front door paintwork was scuffed. Unfortunately it doesn’t look inviting and wouldn’t be an area that we would have wanted to sit out in.
- Jones (9/5): Superb - Comfortable, clean apartment in very good position Some equipment problems...lid of kettle not working. No instructions. for microwave.Lid of wasteland broken.would have expected some dishwasher liquid and kitchen towel, neither provided. These and others reported to O'brien Management, the maintaining company.
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Eamon (9/5): enjoyed it and exceeded expectations - bottle of white wine and packet of nibbels on arrival was v welcome
great location, comfortable and stylish apartment, easy parking small quibbles, but would prefer to have been provided with 2 keys not 1
required to strip the bed linen and take any bottles to a nearby bottle bank was a first, what do we pay the cleaning fee for?
key box is fiddley.. would'nt want to arrive in the dark
- Tracy (9/5): Superb -
- Russell (8/5): Wonderful stay in a great location. - The location was superb! Wonderful view and si handy for popping into town. Beds weren't that comfy.
Dishwasher didn't clean properly so had to wash most things again.
Sofa very low and too soft.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debra (10/5): Had a wonderful relaxing time ! - The location of The Apartment was excellent , views of the sea, in walking distance of the Main Street with excellent restaurants.
- Sue (10/5): Loved getting away for short break over Christmas- comfortable cosy place to stay - Loved being able to see the sea from the window - and being able to walk to nearby restaurants and shops - didn’t need to use the car to go out. Amazing choice of eating places and coffee shops.
- Robert (9/5): Overall ver good - The property would have gained an excellent marking from us but for the fact that the toilet flush was not up to the job (reported to the agent). The Slipper bath although looking pretty if like us you are elderly not a good option a shower would have been preferable. Spent some time trying to get normal tv despite following instructions only to be told that the sattelite dish had disintegrated not a recent event. Agent helpful and apartment excellent in all other respects
- Terry (10/5): Couldn’t fault it. - Brilliant location. Not there long enough ☹️
- Peter (10/5): One of the most relaxing and memorable weekends away - Lovely location, everything we needed in there, beautiful views of the sea Nothing
- Coleman (10/5): . - . .
- Linda (10/5): Love Aldeburgh, great place , good accommodation, great location - Clean comfortable, great location N/A
- Robert (8/5): Very good -

- Katie (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Nicola (9/5): Highly recommend as a place to stay. - Great location and everything is within walking distance. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The check in was 5pm. Would have preferred earlier, otherwise great.
- Diane (8/5): Such a convenient and nice apartment in a great location - fabulous location and we were able to park outside kitchen space is a little cramped with not much workspace
a couple of things - bin lid is broken so does not pop up (you have to pull it up with hand).
Chopping boards are very worn and do need replacing
There is scaffolding up at back of property and some building works going on which meant couldn't have bedroom window open and a bit of noise from builders
- Sandra (9/5): Really relaxing stay, great accommodation and we look forward to coming back. - Perfect location, view of the sea and close to the high street Pillows were a bit flat & some batteries and bulbs needed replacing but that really is the only negative thing I can say. It's a shame we had to walk to the far end of the beach for our dog, she is old and it would have been better if we could use the area opposite us. Maybe some cushions on the outside rattan chairs would be nice.
- Timothy (9/5): Perfect bolt hole - All on one level, with a walk in shower, en suite, brilliant for my 91 year old mum. Good facilities including a hoover. Lovely outside area to the front and good parking directly at the front. Location perfect😁 Bed a bid lumpy, dining room chairs past their best and felt like sitting on a toilet frame when no cushion used😱
- James (9/5): Superb - Locatin, location. Good facilities.
- Paul (8/5): Overall a very comfortable and well appointed ground floor apartment. - Location was very good. 2 minutes walk to the gentle bustle of the lovely high street. Plenty of varied eateries, nice individual shops. All flat. No noise from the nice pub nearby. The east facing front terrace would benefit from better seating, the 4 black all weather armchairs were really uncomfortable- we could not use them. Thankfully, the outdoor table and upright chairs were good and used every morning for breakfast in the morning sun. Lovely. The front garden could have done with some TLC and we felt the need to weed the front garden ourselves before using it.
The front bedroom en-suite is bijou and the sink miniscule. Around the sink there is no shelving to store/place toiletries etc, my mother had to put her toilet bag on the floor. This really detracted from using the en-suite and some simple shelving would solve this issue.
- Jonathan (10/5): Comfortable and homely - Very comfortable and beautifully decorated No hot water or central heating for the first night and following day
- Tania (9/5): Recommend, nice property, spacious, lovey big comfy bed in main bedroom. - Lovely location for the weekend, nice to park and be in the centre of town and not need to use the car. Early entry to the property at 2pm instead of 5pm which seems late. Sofa and arm chairs really low, making them uncomfortable. Dining chairs look lovely but past their best, wobbly and sink right down. Humax Remote control Needed new batteries and couldn’t find any!
We did request a late departure time which was sent as an option but nobody confirmed so we had to leave earlier than would have liked at 10am which is a little early, 11am would of been better then the option or paying for a later departure as you sent. The. Same with arrival, 5pm is a little late , you did allow us an early arrival at 2pm which was great.
- Brenda (9/5): Very enjoyable 3 night stay. - Location - fantastic to access all the shops / restaurants/ walks that Aldeburgh has to offer. Nothing
- Cristina (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Keith (9/5): We had a lovely visit. - Location was excellent, apartment was spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. The instruction manual very useful. The main bathroom proved a little difficult as our party were all elderly, and found negotiating the roll top bath difficult.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (9/5): Perfect long leisurely weekend. - Excellent location and communication. Apartment was clean and tidy and had all necessary equipment/provisions to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was great to sit out on the front patio, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by. Nothing really. Everything was as expected. Was very busy at times but that was fine. Lovely walks into the town and shops etc. Can't really complain about anything.
- Nicolette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (8/5): Nice apartment would certainly rent again. - Location, two bathrooms Fridge was not cold the door was faulty and kept opening, it was difficult to keep it closed. As usual with rented properties only leave bare min of dishwasher tabs so couldn’t use dishwasher on last day.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, absolutely everything in the apartment that we needed.
- Caroline (7/5): Loved it here and loved the area - Great location, good layout, well fitted out, very clean. Kitchen worktop needs replacing as it’s quite tatty, not a major issue but it did detract.
- Sally (10/5): Very comfy and well equipped apartment - spotlessly clean. - No breakfast as this was a self catering apartment The only thing I would suggest is added is a bread knife
- Michael (7/5): our 3rd year of stopping there looking a bit tired other then that all ok. -
- Veronica (9/5): A lovely few days in a very stylish apartment. - The location was excellent with the sea on one side and the lovely Aldeburgh shops on the other. The apartment was very stylish, spotlessly clean, and very convenient being on the ground floor. The complementary wine and biscuits was a nice welcoming touch.
- Georgina (7/5): lovely appartment, comfortable stay - very close to the high street and beach. great location works were being carried out on the roof, the property had scaffolding on it and builders working for the duration of our stay. there was no pre warning that this was the case
- Caroline (10/5): peaceful and calm with fantastic views and location. - beautiful apartment, well equipped and centrally located. nothing
- Mits (9/5): Wonderful appt in a beautiful quaint Beach town. - Beautiful appt on the beach front road, very clean and great service. There was an issue with the heating in the main bedroom which was shorted out within the hour. great place, will definitely use again. n/a
