- Yeo (10/5): Highly recommended unit, clean, big space, great location. - The location is perfect, just few minutes walk to Dotonbori, the unit is clean and comfortable, lastly it’s a big room and space, highly recommend.
- Genevieve (6/5): Excellent location, comfortable bed and quiet. Best suited to short/average height people. - Location was excellent and it was quiet. Bed was comfortable (on the softer side). Shower worked well however was a very small room. It was not particularly clean and furnishings were very dated and could do with fixing up. Room size and getting around difficult for my 6’4” husband. Knocked his head and awkward getting into and out of the bathroom.
- Lindsey (8/5): - We stayed in an apartment with tatami mats which was very spacious and comfortable. The unit also has 2 hepa filters which was great for us. It was quiet and very centrally located. The only issue that we had with the place was the limited items in the kitchen that made preparing meals at the apartment a bit difficult. Fortunately, there was a large fridge, rice cooker, kettle, stove, microwave, toaster oven, and limited utensils. However, the limited utensils were really limited. There was no knife beyond a butter knife, nor a cutting board, the number of pots was extremely limited and other basic kitchen tools (strainer, grater, measuring cups/spoons etc.) were missing.
- Noémie (7/5): Super logement, très spécieux et traditionnel (on dort sur des tatamis et c’est très confortable). Très bon emplacement -
- Paige (8/5): Great stay! Super spacious which was nice, cooking facilities, washing machine and dryer store next door! Not even a 10 - Spacious, great location, felt home like, comfy bed, washing machine There was no smart tv.

- Colin (10/5): - The spacious apartment Nothing
- Dave (8/5): Great location in Dotonbori. - The location is great. Easy access to trains, market and Dotonbori.
Plenty of space inside. The bed is a mattress on the floor. It is very difficult for an elderly couple in our late 60s. There are no cups for tea or coffee. There is no iron or ironing board.
- Thomas (7/5): -
- Lucie (8/5): - Ut was fine but no luggage storage and check in check out at 16:00 and 10:00 was harsh

- simon (10/5): Excellent location - The location was very good. Walking distance to Dotonburi and Kuromon market but in a quiet area so no disturbing noises at night. The room size was good which was bigger then the usual sizes in Japan. There are convenience stores close by and plenty of parking space if you drive. Would definatley stay again as this accomodation provided value for money
- Nikita (10/5): -
- Sabrina (10/5): - We stayed in the room with 2 beds. The place was spacious for 2 friends.
Good locations, close to the Market and Dotonbori. Nothing. It was really nice.
- Francis Iwamura (10/5): - otima localização!

- Jing-An (8/5): - 環境安靜,交通方便 洗衣曬衣動線

- Jean (9/5): - We had a wonderful one-week stay at this apartment. It’s very well located — close to everything yet tucked away in a quiet area, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a convenient and peaceful place to stay!
- Michelle (10/5): A very comfortable stay with plenty of extras. - Very clean and spacious. Very nice apartment. + elevator was nice to have.
- Derek Kim Fah (9/5): - The location is great, close to a couple railway stations and just about a 20 minutes walk to the famous Glico Man site.
The apartment is spacious by Japan standard. And it is as shown as per the advertised photos. Lacking in some basic items like mugs and dish drying cloth (happy to dry but was told to use tissue paper, when there is no dishwasher that can wash and dry the dishes). My friend's apartment air-con was leaking and there's been old water marks which means the problem has not been attended to for some time.
- Edson (9/5): Maravilhosa - Tudo Precisar sair
- Dennis (7/5): The apartment is well equipped and conveniently located, but it is rather dark and damp, with some maintenance issues th - The apartment is very well equipped and ideally located. The use of the washing machine is free of charge and even includes detergent. The kitchen provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. The check-in procedure was straightforward and clearly described. The apartment is generally quite dark and somewhat damp. The bathroom cannot be properly ventilated, which has likely caused mold on the shower curtain and rod. There is also mold above the window in the living room. For a seven-night stay costing over €800, it would have been appreciated to receive fresh towels at least once. With a few small improvements, the apartment could be made much more pleasant.
Despite these issues, the apartment can still be recommended in the hope that these matters will be addressed.
- drelevich (10/5): Great value for money! Super comfortable and clean! - Very spacious ,comfortable, and clean! There was a weird smell in the elevator, would be great to have more towels and a full body mirror.
- Augusto Felipe (10/5): -
- Turgut (4/5): Teleurstellend.
- Renae (8/5): - Overall great experience and close to Dotonbori and train station Nipponbashi
- ionut (9/5): - Location was grate to visit everything we wanted and the value for money/ night in that location was excelent (8 nights) The hot water did not work properly.
- soomin (10/5): - 모든것에 너무 만족합니다.
- ZHENYE (8/5): -
- Ali (9/5): It wasn’t a cheap stay for Japan but it was very comfortable and convenient. - The location is great! It’s just 3 minutes away from Nippombashi subway station, a walking distance from Dotonbori. I stayed solo for only 2 nights so, amenities were more than enough for me. There were two separate AC units… The room was very clean including all the sheets and towels. Check-in / check-out was super smooth, all the details were timely shared. Noisy street at nights, occasionally yelling young people.
- David (8/5): Great location , love the full kitchen and bedroom plus dining space - Full kitchen, nice dining room/ living room space and very comfortable bed. Washer available. With drying rack and coin laundry service around the corner of the hotel if needed. Does not do Yamato but located close by to a Yamato agency Bathroom might smell like number 2 for majority of the stay
- Julia-rose (7/5): Good value for money, but definitely isn’t a hotel. - Great location and space. Nice to not be cramped in a tiny room. Washing machine was a great positive. Easy to check in and good communication. 10 minute walk to Dotonbori The balcony was filthy, our feet ended up black and needed to be washed when going outside to hang out clothes. Fresh “towels” were delivered on day 4, which was one small hand towel. Discussed with the owners and they very promptly got more delivered however it was two hand towels. So no clean body towels the entire 5 nights stay. The bed was VERY soft and the pillow were very hard and tall we couldn’t use them.
Check out is at 10am.
- Cavan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Indre (10/5): Superb choice for longer stay near Dotonburi - Perfect for a longer stay as it is well equipped with washer, kitchen and all the utensils, two ACs in the apartment. It looks exactly as pictured, in a super convenient neighbourhood close to Dotonburi. 7eleven is literally across the street if you fancy a morning onigiri or late night snack. Towels could be a bit bigger and the changing policy more clear. The staff was very helpful to resolve any issues.
- Wyatt (10/5): Overalll amazing experience with our stay at H2H Dotonbori. Amazing place to stay along with amazing and very helpful st - Great location, clean, comfy feel inside the apartment, amazing staff, great value.
- Leith (6/5): Great location but a comfortable bed is essential - The location The bed was very thin and uncomfortable. There were no tea cups or coffee/tea supplies. The very late check-in time of 4 pm with no information regarding luggage storage nearby was very difficult.
- Samuel (9/5): Superb - Cozy apartment for 2 No iron, room cleaning only if you book 7+days
- Breanna (4/5): Disappointing - It was a nice set up place, pretty spacious. When we checked into the room it was trashed and not cleaned at all. The “bed” is not a bed it’s just a thin blanket on the floor, it is so uncomfortable and painful, you’re just sleeping on the floor.
- Thi (9/5): Short Stay Holiday - The property was nice, spacious, clean and in a great location. The bath tub drain needs to be sorted due to blocking up quickly when having long showers. Also, the bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell. Futon was too thin and it needs to be thicker to maximum level.
- Marc (2/5): Disappointing and Unhygienic – Absolutely Not Recommended - Basically nothing.
The only positive aspect of our stay was that we ended it after just one night – instead of the originally booked four. In hindsight, that was the best decision we could have made under the circumstances. Our stay at this apartment in Osaka was, unfortunately, a complete disappointment. From the moment we entered, the place was clearly unclean and neglected – not the result of a one-time cleaning oversight, but rather the impression that the apartment hadn’t been properly cleaned for weeks or even months.
There was mold along the window frames, thick dust under the bed and on the bed slats, and used tissues under the bed – clear signs of systematic poor maintenance. In the wardrobes, we found dirty, clearly used slippers and a crumpled curtain – things that simply do not belong in any respectable accommodation.
The equipment was also incomplete. Promised items like bathrobes and a hairdryer were missing. The bedside lamps couldn’t be used as there were no nearby power sockets. Towels were placed on the dining table – unhygienic and unwelcoming. Spare towels were stored outside under a staircase by the cleaning staff – exposed, disorganized, among garbage, and already attracting a noticeable number of flies. It was, quite frankly, off-putting.
The furniture was noticeably old. For decoration, there were faded plastic flowers. The mattress was extremely soft and saggy – completely unsuitable for anyone with back problems.
To their credit, the hotel did respond quickly to our complaint. However, communication was exhausting and time-consuming, involving a lengthy back-and-forth via email. This was necessary because there are no staff or contact persons available on site – the accommodation operates entirely through self-check-in. A cleaning service was promised – initially for 10:30 AM, but it was later rescheduled to 12:30 PM. This delay added to the disruption and further impacted our already frustrating stay.
In the end, the dirty room, the feeling of discomfort, and the cumbersome communication led us to cut our stay short after just one night – even though we had originally booked for four. We found alternative accommodation.
- Hwee (4/5): Very uncomfortable stay due to the small soft pillow and bed. - Location is convenient, about 7mins walk to a train station. Has a washing machine but no dryer. The bed is very uncomfortable and the 2 small pillows provided are very very soft and provide no support at all. The blanket provided is too small for 2 pax. We have backaches every morning for our 4-day stay.
The customer service is very poor and unhelpful. We only managed to get an additional set of towels after repeated requests. Our request for additional blanket and to change to a firmer pillow have been rejected. The communication with the customer service is frustrating.
- Leona (5/5): Value stay but uncomfortable beds. - Location was okay, it seemed to be tucked away in an area where many Chinese people lived, as it was close to a lot more Chinese restaurants and business owners. It was nice to have a small kitchen. The beds were so thin, cheap, and uncomfortable, and I enjoy sleeping on the floor. Felt cheaply furnished. We ended up stacking up 2 beds together so there was enough cushion, and squeezing together on one bed.
- Tung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dmitrii (8/5): Very good - Location, spacious place, cleanliness the place needs a mirror in addition to the one in the bathroom. we also needed some cups for tea or coffee. There were some glasses, but a bit inconvenient for this purpose.
- Surayani (8/5): Very good -
- Omar (8/5): Very good -
- Liao (8/5): Very good - Everything is nice expect the bed situation. The futon is too thin and the pillows are so small and soft
- Atcharawan (10/5): Good location - Nice room and clean
- Daniel (10/5): Great visit - Lovely property. Well located, very close to Dotombori, and close the the metro stations. Also seven 11 right outside which was handy Bathroom was a little small, only thing really
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - i loved this place, i would definalty stay agan.. it so clean and very useful since it was right beside family mart and the train station nothing
- Rob (10/5): Excellent room, centrally located - The hotel was spotlessly and in a great location, close to local amenities and transport links. The check in process was very easy and the facilities in the room were excellent. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Osaka.
- Luke (10/5): Perfect place to stay if you’d like a spacious room and a good centre point to explore Ōsaka - Spacious and good location Nothing
- Nor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alec (8/5): Good spot! Would recommend if fixes the pillows - Great spot, big apartment The pillows were unusable
Had to walk to a shopping centre to buy pillows we could actually use
I’ve never had worse pillows than the ones they provided, please spend the $40 to get some basic pillows that are usable
- Ida-marie (10/5): 10/10 Great location, everything you need within walking distance! - It was super simple to get a hold of our key and everything was prepared ahead of time. If anything, i wish there was a second mirror (outside the bathroom).
- Thorn (10/5): can’t wait to stay here again - very spacious compared to other options. we were in the futon room… other reviews said it was like sleeping on the floor but if you know what you are walking into it’s actually quite comfortable. location was great we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. staying here makes me want to buy a futon back home. easy assess and has as elevator so no more stairs with the suitcases, will stay here again. if you like extra pillow we recommend taking the pillows from the couch. sad to leave nothing 10/10
- Audrey (4/5): Not value for money. - Is spacious and there is a lot of home appliances. The bed is too soft and the pillow is too flimsy. The pillow was insignificant.
- Tina (6/5): Pay a bit extra and stay in a clean hotel. I would have moved if I was on Osaka any longer. - The size was big and roomy. It was convenient When I arrived, there was a used towel left in the bathroom area. It wasn’t that clean. Stains on the floor and it smelt like pee inside. I was given air freshener but it didn’t help much. Air purifier was on constant and that didn’t help either.
- James (1/5): Bad - We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The mattress was paper-thin, and the pillows were no better, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The property also had severe moisture issues, requiring a dehumidifier to run all night, which was noisy and unpleasant. We ultimately decided to check out early and find alternative accommodation for the next night. When we requested a partial refund due to these issues, the host declined, citing their policy. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend this place to others
- Megan (10/5): Nice and close to the main attractions without it being too loud. Nice spacious room and good amenities - The bed was super comfortable, and a very spacious room
- Adelle (10/5): Great location, clean apartment with everything you need - Great location! Clean apartment The beds were a little thin / flat
- Jasmine (10/5): This is the perfect location for a stay in Osaka! - The location was amazing! There was a laundromat connected and a 711 that was a 30 second walk. Also right next to the market as well! I will stay here again if I ever come back to Osaka N/A
- Thornton (9/5): Superb - Location Sleeping on the futon.
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional - Location is amazing
- Kittipong (9/5): Superb -
- Maraiah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maraiah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martinez (10/5): big, comfy/ convenient - it is really big and county place, the location is really good, and ',or can even have a late checkout (charged separately) the futon are quite thin so you feel like sleeping in the floor
- Galili (3/5): Poor -
- Andrew (5/5): Mouldy, dirty, and location is meh. - It’s spacious and cheap Not very clean. Bathroom is like a biological research center for mould. The shower curtain is COVERED in it. The shower curtain is cheap and easy to replace and yet the owners haven’t changed it - this shows the level of care given to these apartments. My girlfriend developed a cough, so don’t use the bathroom for long.
Balcony is filthy.
We were given 1 towel for 4 days.
The location is fine, it’s close to Dotonbori but that’s about it. Namba station is the most convenient station for tourists and this property is around 15-20 min walk away. The station close to this property isn’t too convenient for tourists and we only used it when coming back from USJ
In hindsight, we should’ve definitely stayed nearer Namba station. And paid a bit more to get somewhere cleaner and showed more care to its guests.
- Jane (8/5): Very good - Very big for Japan, separate bedroom, washing machine! No bed - it was so uncomfortable on this tiny super thin mattress.
You can’t leave your curtains open as everyone on the street can see you.
No reception or human interaction so if you have any problem good luck! We struggle to check out
- Xy-za (10/5): Exceptional -
- Newman (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Superb - The location is amazing. You are walking distance from namba, dotombori, kuromon market etc. The room is a 1 bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room and fairly spacious bedroom. This is not a hotel so it was self check in. We had no problems checking in and out but it should be noted there are additional payments if you arrive early or late. The only issue was that we were on the second floor. Due to the area being a nightlife area there was noise from people going past the building at all hours.
- Ketkanok (10/5): Exceptional - Big and clean and easy to go anywhere
- Emily (2/5): Overpriced and not ready for regular guests - Location is convenient for transit and for evening Dotonbori strolls. Close to Namba for many food and shopping options. New, cute apartment aesthetically. The bathroom smelled terrible, like sewage. I actually went to the public bath rather than use the shower more than once.
Building is noisy. Street noise is no problem, but from the second floor we heard all kinds of noise from below us, above us, and beside us.
I also reserved the Japanese style room so that my friend traveling with me could experience sleeping on futons on tatami - but they weren’t really futons, just cheap thin foam worse than a camping mattress - barely sleepable even after he departed early and I stacked two of them.
Cute concept but it’s not there yet… no way to dry laundry, lamps weren’t plugged in on arrival, no mugs for coffee or tea. I bought clothes drying hangers at Daiso and left them for future guests. The two locks on the front door to get in is also confusing and necessitated a call to the support phone number when we were very exhausted from travel.
I paid a premium to stay here over other reputable local options and I’m pretty upset about it in hindsight. Lesson learned not to book somewhere with so few reviews.
- Stew (7/5): Good - Everything you need for a comfy longer stay. Toilet in the bathroom. Bidet not working correctly.
- Rajesh (9/5): Superb - Location is really nice and nearby to tourist locations Iron box can be added to room
- Vlad (10/5): Amazing value for money - Location was absolutely great and the room size was more than plentiful. Nothing to say.
