• F. (9/5): Prima hotel - Hele ruime kamer en mooie tuin. Prima terras, goede parkeergelegenheid. Het restaurant gaat pas om 20.30 uur open.
• Louise (8/5): A fabulous detour to Samos, when walking the Camino Frances. - A good place to stay when visiting Samos. We detoured here to visit the town and monastery whilst walking the Camino Frances, and we were not disappointed. Hotel A Viega did not disappoint, comfy and clean room, nice hot shower. At the end of the corridor we had a balcony to sit on overlooking the River Sarria, with places to air and dry socks etc. We took advantage of the excellent spread laid on for breakfast. There is also a nice front bar and terrace for drinks. Samos is a short walk back on yourself along the main road, and is a lovely place to visit. The next stage walk on the Camino Frances to Sarria/beyond, is on your doorstep.
• Detlef (10/5): Top Unterkunft - Absolute Top Unterkunft direkt am Camino. Zimmer und Bad ausreichend groß und sehr bequem. Frühstück und Abendessen auch sehr gut, mit Ausnahme des Kaffee aus dem Automaten. Abendessen um 20.30 Uhr etwas spät. Das Duschen hinter einem Duschvorhang in einer kleinen Badewanne stehend ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber machbar. Ich würde hier wieder buchen.

O pequeno almoço é bom, mas não tem pratos quentes (ovos, bacon ou semelhante). Por outro lado a fruta é excelente!, bem como os queijos, presunto e chouriços. Custo-benefício muito bom!

• Natalie (9/5): A beautiful maintained hotel with a spectacular garden. - Although not placed in the town center, the hotel has a beautiful big restaurant overlooking the river with a dayly pilgrimage Manuel, that is very convenient after a long day's walk. Every floor has a terrace with a laundry hanging rack that is very thoughtful and convenient for those on their Camino. We booked a twin room and received what I guess was a family room, with a double bed too small for two friends to share and a second single of a child length, I ended up sleeping in. The hotel is not new, and although well maintained, there were no hot water when we just arrived from the Camino longing for a good shower.

I returned a second time in two weeks, with my husband, after first staying with my friend doing the Camino. A very beautiful hotel with an overwhelming garden, right off the Camino and straight on the river's waterfall. Although on the Camino and very convenient when continuing on in morning, the hotel is set somewhat off the town's center, and while on the Camino, every extra step is felt...

Room very comfortable, lovely bed and nice shower Delicious food in the on site restaurant too. Stayed one night, but could happily have made it a week.

They also accommodated our request for one bed and they came through on that as well. Our double room had tow hand towels but only one bath towel. Not a problem for us, just thought they should know.
