A pesar de informarles que estaba con mi esposa, ambos mayores de 60vaños, Me hicieron esperar en la calle 3 horas antes de darme las claves de ingreso, porque no había firmado un contrato ridículo de 8 paginas además de dejar un deposito de seguridad de 200 libras. Esta es de las empresas que solo miran su interés económico y no son capaces de sentir un poco de empatia por sus clientes. Terrible la situación por la que nos hicieron pasar.

- Jon (1/5): An absolute disaster. - N/A We arrived at the property at 16:00. We had to leave the accommodation at 20:00. We had no hot water, the boiler was broken, and an alarm was already sounding when we arrived. We were promised a maintenance visit but four hours later no one had attended. The bed was also dirty with long black hairs all over it. At approximately 19:15 a housekeeper came to change the sheets. She vacuumed with a hoover that was so dirty we could smell it from the next room. The housekeeper was aware she hadn’t cleaned properly and was clearly covering herself by making the bed. She had absolutely no interest in helping to get the boiler fixed and stop the alarm, which was sounding around every 30 seconds- we endured this for four hours and when it was clear no one was coming to help, I decided to find my daughter and me alternative accommodation. The agent based somewhere on the Indian subcontinent, offered another flat in the same block. The flat in question at the time had the aforementioned housekeeper, along with an associate, rushing around cleaning and making the beds. My daughter at this point had sighted a cockroach in the flat, so I felt there was no way I was going to put us through a similar experience, unnecessarily. I booked a Premier Inn and cannot recommend highly enough and it was significantly cheaper - two nights: £151 v £282.
After all that we had to endure, the property company are refusing to refund us, sighting the fact that we purchased a non-refundable rate. A non-refundable rate does not protect you from providing inadequate and unacceptably bad accommodation that is impossible to stay in and that forced us to find an alternative place to stay - ‘unacceptable’ as I have described and experienced above.
