Guest Reviews
- Anita (7/5): - Location is great for beach, shop and pubs!
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Clara (9/5): Superb -
- O'donnell (9/5): Superb -
- Douglas (8/5): It was handy for getting into Ballyshannon for the music festival. - Self catering, but food purchased from the local shop was really good quality, and the chalet had decent cooking facilities, so breakfasts were excellent. Really quick and easy access to the beach, comfy furniture, easily understood and controlled heating and immersion heater, easy access to Wifi. Would be an ideal site for a small family holiday, of up to four people. Shower is small and the shower curtain is very close - although both my son and I are over 6ft tall, reasonably big blokes, so maybe that's not a huge surprise. And the shower itself is rather underpowered and weedy, but not the worst I've ever come across in holiday accommodation.
- Julieanne (7/5): was relaxing - the views and the potential it has nothing
- Naomi (9/5): Superb - Our 2nd visit to Rossnowlagh Creek chalets, and yet again it did not disappoint. The perfect cosy, pet friendly chalet in a fantastic location. Shane went above and beyond to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend The only thing we would change is the check out time. We feel that 10am is just that little bit too early . But again, Shane very kindly allowed us to check out at 11 when we realised the check out time was earlier than we initially thought.
- Bolt (8/5): long weekend break. - Area
- Mary (10/5): Place was clean and quiet. Close to a beautiful beach and perfect starting point to tour Donegal - The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. We were touring around the county a lot and it was a great base. Beautiful view of the water. It was clean, quiet and comfy.
- Hand (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlie (8/5): Very good - House exactly as described, location superb
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eimear (4/5): Fantastic location, the property has so much potential but needs some time, care & attention. - Location is absolutely fantastic. Few mins drive from Smugglers Creek. Easy to get to.
Heating - very good, once turned on the chalet was warm & cosy. Clean bed linen & clean towels provided.
Owner is a lovely man, very friendly, very polite and very chatty. The place needs a deep clean, painting & modernisation. Bathroom - has a tiny shower with flimsy shower curtain. Bedrooms have small & limited storage or shelving for clothes. I ended up leaving some clothes in my suitcase as i had no where to put them. Kitchen lacks basic things like working cooker, small glasses for drinking (children drank from wine glasses as nothing else available), no jugs etc.. Fridge works but it does not have freezer unit incorporated into it. Children found the sandcastle bucket used as lampshade very funny ! No blinds on double bedroom; when you look out the window all you see is neglected property; overgrown weeds; dirty soffit & fascia. The place needs a good power wash, strimming, garden table needs to be cleaned & stained. The front door also needs a door handle. We unfortunately won’t be back.
- Leanne (6/5): Plasent stay great location. -
- Nicola (9/5): Had a lovely time. Was just right - Clean. Could go down path to quiet beach and walk to local pubs/ food
- Genevieve (8/5): Very good - The location and ease of booking The beds could have been more comfortable
- James (10/5): Lovely wee trip away - The owner made us feel very welcome. Lovely location near the beach and the bars. Children and dogs loved it. Not a complaint just a suggestion- An outside tap would be handy to rinse wet suits.
- Mc (8/5): Very good - 7min walk to beautiful beach. 5min walk to smuglers creek restaurant/pub. 2min drive to shop & 3min drive to bakery/ cafe. 15mins drive to bundoran. 20mins drive to donegal town. Ideal location. Chalet had all amenities including internet.
