Guest Reviews
- Robinson (8/5): Great place host lovely - No cooker working
- Cécilia (7/5): - L’emplacement Manque de propreté
Difficulté à régler le chauffage

- Jacqueline (10/5): - The chalet is big enough for what we needed as it was myself and my friend both of us have small dogs. It has a adequate size kitchen equipped quite well, however, the oven didn’t work which did cause a slight problem as we went midweek and unfortunately all pubs and restaurants were closed. The little garden is secure, so the dogs couldn't get out. It's a lovely location if you are just looking for a quiet base. My friend and I have stayed there twice with our dogs and have enjoyed our stay enough to actually book the chalet again next year. The only thing we didn’t like was that the oven didn't work.
- Rosemary (9/5): - Location perfect for husband with mobility issues. Great for family pet Grass in back garden needs attention in order to clean up after dog!
- Paul O'Sullivan (9/5): - Location cant be bet
- Chrissie-boy (10/5): Holiday 2025 - The chalet was comfortable as it was in September 2024 this was our 2nd visit, we arrived at a very clean place as usual Rossnowlagh is a small place the ideal location for a family holiday, it really is a central location the weather wasn't great but it's Ireland so nothing is guaranteed especially the sun ☀️ but only 1 really bad day and that was Sunday. When we were here in September there were 2 restaurants open but only 1 ( smugglers creek) a beautiful restaurant with great food, as usual you could drive onto the beach and weather was fine, on the day we left we met Shane a real nice guy and did say there was no rush to leave so we could of used chalet for a few more hours, in my opinion if you are looking for a family holiday with kids to sit on a beach then Rossnowlagh is ideal only 20 minutes drive from Donegal and 10 minutes drive to Bundoran To be honest I couldn't find anything wrong with the holiday except the typical Irish weather and nothing can be done about that
- Bingham (10/5): Exceptional - It was a bit Cold, but we enjoyed the break,,would recommend this for Summer.
- Deirdre (5/5): Passable - The view from Chalet was excellent!
Close to Ballyshannon It's a shame it hasn't been looked after. Bed springs were a big problem! My back was in bits! Very cold, lots of damp, tiny TV, just couldn't get the place warm. Furniture very old and sofa not good.
The kitchen was particularly bad! Cupboards with no handles, very old units. Cutlery very sparse and only 3 forks, one of which was bent out of shape.
Shower was awful! It was either roasting hot or freezing cold, very cold and drafty !
Think the charges thru Booking.com were far too high for the state of the place.
Would not stay again.⁹
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (6/5): Pleasant - Beds were comfy Could do with a refresh of paint lots of cobwebs around the place otherwise everything was great
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (8/5): Perfect - Everything
- Anne (1/5): Couldn't wait to leave - Great location and setting. Shabby I can do and it is in need of a painting and redecorating.
But dirty I can't do. Hadn't been swept or cleaned. Black hairs on bed linen so hadn't been changed.
Worst of all there were black half inch eel like creatures in all rooms which was a total turn off. Worst place I've stayed.
Had to purchase sheets myself for second night.
- Maurice (9/5): Superb -
- Jean (9/5): Superb - Perfect accommodation, dog friendly, beside the beach
