Guest Reviews
- Tamara (9/5): -
- Erika (9/5): Perfect place for a getaway in the Hudson Valley - The house is updated, comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials. The thermostat was easy to adjust, there was plenty of hot water, and the neighborhood is quiet. It was oddly loud in one of the rooms where the water pipes to the bathroom passed through the wall but other than that it was the perfect place to stay.
- Sharon (9/5): Very Cozy and relaxing - Location was great for getting around We enjoyed our stay
- Maryjane (10/5): Pleasant, well equipped, comfortable. - Cozy little home. Nice job on the renovations. It was a lovely weekend. We would have liked to open the windows for some fresh air, but there were no screens downstairs, so we didn't.
- Alan (10/5): A clean, tastefully furnished, well-equipped home on a quiet country road. - The property is on a winding country road in a residential, but rural area, south of Kingston and North of New Paltz - a great location for exploring those cities as well as Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park across the Hudson. The home was well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay of any length of time. There were multiple options for making coffee (Keurig and Black and Decker thermal carafe) as well as coffee pods, sweeteners and such. There are ample towels and basic supplies, like paper towels, toiletries and such. In short, a quiet, comfortable home. The only complaint is that the beds were softer than either my wife and I or our friend would have liked. If I was close to the edge of the mattress, it compressed and it felt like I would fall off.
- Tamara (10/5): Excellent house with a very thoughtful touch. - Very clean, nice fresh good quality linens and towels, spacious kitchen with all necessary equipment. Comfortable 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Sliding doors in both bathrooms do not give full privacy, there are no locks on the doors.
- Urszula (10/5): Exceptional - Very well appointed, even firepit in the backyard (which we totally used).
- Renaud (10/5): Great house, will book again if we come in the area - House is really great, clean and well renovated with everything you need to cook and some games/books available (gas grill is definitely a +)
Beds are all good. none
- Debra (9/5): It was comfortable and enjoyable. - The house was very cleaned and well stocked with the necessary items. The host was very accommodating and responded to my questions right away. It was a comfortable setting. The only downfall was that the house is an old house so only one or two people can take a hot shower at a time. We had four adults staying with us and everyone wasn't able to take a hot shower.
- Barbara (10/5): Great family vacation spot! - It was roomy enough for 6 people and yet cozy. There were a lot of well thought out amenities that made for a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely come again. Showers needed to be planned out and staggered to ensure we had enough hot water.
- Lein (10/5): Exceptional - The house was so beautiful, spacious, clean, and cozy! Monica was very accommodating and
communicative.
- Jamie (10/5): Amazing! It fit our needs and made our family getaway so more enjoyable than a hotel stay - it felt like a home away fro - It’s was well stocked, clean, and comfortable It’s was unfortunate that the downstairs bathroom shower was out of commission during our stay, but we made it work and the upstairs shower was lovely
- Hosu (10/5): Great place - This place has it all.
Enough bedrooms and kitchen facilities and firepit and fire wood, too.
I would love to come back with my family next time.
- Erin (10/5): Loved everything about it - Beautiful. Spacious. Cozy. Clean. Pleasant outside. Loved it all.
- Francisco (10/5): Exceptional - House is totally new in the middle of nowhere - just the way we liked it. Restaurants are far and few between so better to cocoon in. I was sent the wrong door code..... but quickly corrected.
- Danny (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was clean and comfortable. Had trouble getting in at first, but was fixed quickly. Would love to stay there again if in that area. Need to check the dates on the spices and other food items that are there. The one spice I looked at expired in 2019
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
