- Ayal (8/5): Good option for 1 night stay - Very close to Yellowstone NE entrance. Several dining options nearby.
The location beats everything else.
Heating worked very well A bit dated, shower isn't that convenient
Very thin walls
- Miguel (9/5): Great place - Everything good The room
- Matt (5/5): - Room would have been fine if there wasn’t a floor above. You could hear every single step of the person above.
- Susanna (8/5): - Reasonable, clean Dated. Big group of school kids staying. Noisy during day when trying to get a short nap but they were well behaved and quiet at night.
- Mackrides (10/5): Good place to stay in this tiny western town. - The hotel is in an extremely small town. It was rustic and fit in with the mountainous location. The rooms were clean and large. The parking was good. We arrived in a 15 person Mercedes Sprinter, and we needed some room to park that!
The manager was friendly and gave us some recommendations for meals. Most of the restaurants were closed because of time of year and the fact that it was Monday. We managed.
I would recommend this place. The back window wouldn't lock. We used a piece of wood to secure it.
- Amelia (7/5): Dated but clean, comfortable and great location for Lamar Valley - Location to Lamar valley A bit dated but that said - the beds were very comfortable and there was tea/coffee a microwave and fridge
- Sherry (5/5): - Loved the location loved water pressure Had to leave a day early and they wouldn’t refund that 1 day out of 6! Also they had loose tile in bathroom and cover off and wires running out of breaker box
- Vinayak (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): We had a wonderful time! -
- Linda (7/5): - proximity to the park quite outdated
- Kim (7/5): Nice motel in a cute town - Great location. New comfy beds.
- Hubert (10/5): - Bon accueil et chambre confortable.
- Florian (8/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): - Location, shower, and price. The walls are thin. Heard the couple next door talking over our TV
- Judith (10/5): - The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, pets are allowed with no extra fees, and the room was very quiet. I had to leave!
- Waiting Lee (6/5): -
- Milena (10/5): The front desk lady was very kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend! - Very beautiful
- Hawes (9/5): - Great place to stay... staff was a little shy at first.... but it turned out to work great. Straight to the point and told us what we could do. Let us park and get set up... then told us to move after walking by three times.

- Donald (8/5): - This is a nice little rustic motel set in a beautiful Alpine setting. This is a rustic motel. It has not been updated for a while. It's nice, clean, but a bit outdated; however, if you want to experience the wild, outdoor nature of the Yellowstone region; it fits well with the territory.
- Mike (10/5): -
- Lanette (8/5): -
- Dora (7/5): - The room was big and it was clean and there were plenty of blankets for a chilly night. There was no shampoo and no air conditioner or fan. We could hear the people walking around upstairs and we heard water running through the pipes in the walls.
- Cheryl (9/5): Enjoyed -
- Edwin (8/5): -
- Ronald lee (8/5): -
- Rebecca (6/5): - The water pressure is excellent. The room is a little cramped. The room is cramped compared to explanation.
- Philippe (6/5): - breakfast included will be fine for the price!!
- Tracy (7/5): - location was great, desk person very helpful Had to turn mattress around felt like head of bed was going down hill , difficulty getting hot water to regulate
- Buckner (6/5): Good experience, wish the bed was a little more comfortable. - Staff member was great: very friendly and helpful. That bed/mattress was rock hard.
- Sandra (8/5): Great location, right in the center of town. Staff was super friendly. The room is an older room, but we knew that going - Great location in the center of town. Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay.
- Charles (5/5): Location great, view great. Having someone in Room A very uncomfortable, little sleep each night. - We were not notified of breaksfast. Room A above our room. The renters were loud and noisy. Paper thin walls as heard their conversations, moving of furniture. Very little sleep in the Room 7 we were in.
- Carol (8/5): Enjoyable stay in Cooke City. - Great location, in the middle of Cooke City for fireworks on 4 July. Welcoming to us and our dog. Clean. Older rooms, but clean.
- Ronnie (9/5): Clean, friendly staff, don't expect a new, slick place, it's pretty mediocre - but location great! - Cooke City is a wonderful spot Been there many times. Winter even better. Be sure to eat breakfast at the Log Cabin Cafe in Silvergate, 'bout a mile toward Yellowstone Park. The facility itself is pretty mediocre - clean and adequate, but mediocre. BUT - you should remember the most salient realestate addage - location, location, location...
- Nikolai (10/5): It was a very good experience. Thanks a lot - All good
- Jerry (9/5): Good stay at a great price - There was no breakfast but I knew that upfront
- Troy (7/5): -
- Josie (5/5): -
- Boldly Going Nowhere (7/5): I needed lodging for my end of the season visit to Yellowstone and this worked perfectly. - The main reason I booked here was their dog policy. I was able to stay with my 2 dogs at no extra cost. This was a deal breaker for me as my dogs accompany me pretty much everywhere. The noise from the adjoining room was somewhat annoying. Nothing too awful.
- claude (8/5): -
- Hazel (9/5): -
- Amy (10/5): -
- Nichols (10/5): - It was within walking distance to places I wanted to see No complaints
- nikam (9/5): -
- Tracey (8/5): Great location! - The rooms are older, but very spacious and clean. Comfortable seating area and dining table, full cooking facilities in the room. Great location if heading to Lamar Valley (plenty of wildlife!) or Beartooth Highway. Walking distance to meal options. Stairs (only) to upstairs unit.
- Barbara (9/5): Great stopover for Yellowstone - Location to Yellowstone Nothing
- mary lou (10/5): Awsome place close to Yellowstone! - We have stayed there twice and love it! Clean rooms and comfy.
- Clemens (8/5): -
- wildrosie (7/5): -
- M (5/5): Cooke City is in the middle of nowhere which is an important part of its charm but the town needs some TLC. Kudos to th - Close to Lamar Valley. Overpriced for what you get. The town was closing up but the cost of the room did not reflect seasonal pricing.
- Doug (5/5): I'm not sure how this property scores as high as it does, but it was clean and close to the park. - Best rating I can give is for the location! Just a hop, skip and a jump to Yellowstone. MOST of the night it was quiet. Rooms were not nearly as nice as the pictures portrayed. The light above the bed was hanging from the wiring. Bathroom left a lot to be desired. It was very LOUD in the morning with cars right outside the door and other guests talking loudly AND hacking up a lung!
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Jerry (8/5): -
- Theo (7/5): -
A éviter.
- LOUIS (8/5): - correct très bien placé
- Kelly (10/5): -
- MILVIA (8/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Clean and friendly - Cooke City is a one Road Town and Alpine Lodge was easy to find, very clean, WiFi was available. There is no cell service in Cooke City. We came near end of season but it was a great stay. No cell service in Cooke City.
- Andrea Christel (8/5): - Location great. We stayed 2 nights. Made the drive up Beartooth Pass. We had everything, we needed for 2 comfortable nights. Happy, we were able to use the clean laundry machines. Nothing we didn't like!!!
- Sara (10/5): - I love this place. It's perfectly situated in the beautiful Cooke City, sns the rooms are nice and clean and there's everything you need including a comfy bed. Staff are super nice and kind. I have stayed before and will stay here again Im sure Na
- Sorensen (10/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): -
- Tobias (8/5): Angenehm - beim nächsten mal gerne wieder - Gute Lage Etwas rustikal aber in Ordnung
- Karen (10/5): - Nicely situated in a mountain town. Nice, clean and friendly.
- Peggy (8/5): -
- SARRAZY (8/5): -
- Roy (8/5): Good nights sleep. - Pretty good choice for Cooke City, but this is not a place with lots of lodging (or eating) choices. Room was quiet, clean and beds were comfortable (chairs were not). Every motel in this small town is overpriced, but if you want to do the Beartooth Hwy.....suck it up and go with it. To be honest, this remote town has got be a difficult, expensive place to run a business of any kind. I respect the type of tough and free spirited attitude that is pervasive here. We would stay here again.
- Cavanaugh (8/5): Great - would probably stay again and recommend - Close to Yellowstone Entrance and Lamar Valley. Beds were great and bathroom was good also. Room could use some upgrades to furniture. We had a broken chair that was replaced, several knobs on kitchen drawers came of. Be
- Katie (9/5): Wonderfully, rustic and close to Yellowstone! - The location was excellent as we were so close to the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone and easy access to the Beartooth Highway. So convenient. The room was rustic but comfortable. The motel is very pet friendly and our Goldendoodle Roxy was very at ease. There are plenty of places for your fur baby to potty. The room was complete with a microwave and fridge. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of our bags and gear.
All the restaurants in town are within walking distance with the famous Miner's Saloon was right across the street! The staff are super friendly. Had a great afternoon chat with Chad (Alpine employee) after Roxy and I went for a walk around town. The vibe is really great because most people are there to visit Yellowstone. The room looked like it was in need of a little restoration, but not bad at all.
- helena (8/5): - Close to restaurants . Needed more lighting in room.
- Priya (7/5): -
- Wendy Lish (10/5): Excellent location - Lovely location with a great restaurant and food stall nearby. Lovely and clean. Comfortable beds. Everything you needed in the kitchen.
- fernando (1/5): I will never stay there again. - Nothing That place was a dump for $270
- James (7/5): - Price was way to high
- Misha (7/5): I would recommend the facility. - A very convenient location close to the North East gate of Yellowstone National Park. A little cramped but good for 1 night stay. Somewhat pricey but a better option than the price gauging accommodation inside Yellowstone.
