Guest Reviews
- Eileen (9/5): Central, convenient, well appointed. - Great location and nice facilities The steps are a bit challenging to navigate if you need to use the toilet in the middle of the night.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Very centrally located, easy parking in multi storey car park opposite (£8 per day). Clean and with a good kitchen/ dining / sitting area downstairs. Steep steps up to a mezzanine bedroom area. Be careful with the low ceiling around the edge of the bed!
- Mavindidze (9/5): I had an absolutely amazing experience during my stay - I liked the bedroom in the loft, that was absolutely amazing. I was also impressed by the self-catering kitchen, well-packed with all intensils. As if not enough, there was a washing machine in the kitchen, that was really a bonus, I wasnt expecting all that. The property was neat. I didn't like the idea of walking down the stairs to the bathroom
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Lee (8/5): Very good - Location and facilities. Steps
- Luis (8/5): Very good -
- Marcin (8/5): Very good - How quiet and clean the place was (immaculate)
Everything you'd need for an enjoyable stay was there One small window and not much daylight getting into the apartment
Steep stairs to the bedroom, very tricky especially on the way down
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (8/5): Very good - The listing says that paid parking is available at the property: it is not. There is, however, a car park opposite where parking is cheaper than the non-existent listed parking.
- Eugenia (8/5): Very good -
- Jade (10/5): Lovely Stay - Perfect location, lovely and clean, hosts provided all the essentials. Bed was a little firmer than we are used too.
- Simon (9/5): A stylish and convenient setting with some challenging aspects - Location. Decor and 'vibe' of the place The ludicrously designed and steep staircase to the bedroom and the low ceiling therein. You had to be shoot a ludicrous 'straddle' position to ascend the stairs. There should be an indication of this in the information about the apartment
- Brown (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Really nice comfortable stay - The property was well equipped and appointed. Everything was new or nearly new and in good condition. Decent size mugs! It was also reall clean with nice towels and shower gel etc. It was also very quiet. We weren't troubled by any of the noise mentioned in other reviews. I guess the only thing was the steps up to the bed which were steep. We coped but definitely one hand on the banister!
- Ellie (10/5): incredible location and great value for money at a lovely property! - other people in the building constantly opening and closing doors echoed quite loudly into the apartment - but nothing against the apartment itself/anything that could be helped!
- Andrews (10/5): Great Location - Perfect location, perfect communication, we stayed here for 6 weeks.
Great Thanks to Owen for making it stress free stay!
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahul (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): Very comfortable. - Very comfortable and bijou. Nice bed and I slept well. Nice little kitchen fulfils requirements. Toilet/shower modern and functional. Very convenient to Hereford city centre and because the studio is at the rear of the building it is quiet and self-contained. Stairs are OK but be sober when accessing as they are steep. No storage facilities in the shower room. Otherwise nothing major. I couldn't work the key safe when I left the property so had to leave the key in the door but it may have been me?
- Darren (10/5): Very good - Exactly what it says Steps bit upright but I was fine with it
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (9/5): Convenient apartment, it's cosy and compact with all the amenities you could need for a short stay - Great central location and it is a clean and cosy self-contained compartment. It has everything you could need for a couple of nights' stay. The mezzanine style bed means there's a nice separation from the kitchen and is a fun use of the space
- Samantha (9/5): Superb -
- Zoe (8/5): Very good -
- Lema (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacki (10/5): Great Location, great stay! - Beautiful apartment and a lovely stay. N/A
- Glen (8/5): Very good - Location, modern, facilities, ease of booking in and out, value for money Stairs up to the bedroom very steep.
- Penny (5/5): Read the detail about parking and look at the photos of the staircase! - Location for the city centre was excellent. Apartment was clean and well equipped and nice apart from the drawbacks below. The listing needs to be more accurate. The staircase is quite dangerous - very steep (62°) and awkward to climb. The prominent claim of 'private parking' is deceptive as it is very limited and needs to be booked and (if available) expensively paid for. We were told 2 days before arrival that we needed to park in a local car park. There was no information pack in the property, despite the notice on the wall saying there should be. If you want to close the blind on the window, you need to be over 5'7" and find the stepstool in the cupboard! Access to the property involves 3 staircases (no lift) and narrow corridors so minimal luggage. There was also no way we were going to take a suitcase up the staircase to the sleeping area. We were only there for 2 days so it was fine, but I wouldn't want to stay longer.
- Lema (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (6/5): We only stayed one night - Convenient for town. Newly furnished and everything necessary is supplied. Very small space. The stairs to the mezzanine are very steep and there is limited headroom. We are in our late sixties and found it uncomfortable.
- Tania (4/5): Not very homely - Clean. Stylish. The building it was situated in. Being so enclosed.
- Paul (5/5): Just about acceptable, the cleanliness , cooking facilities were up to standard - The location was acceptable The stairs to the sleeping area were dangerous to ascend and descend
- John (9/5): Better than a hotel. - Private - pleasantly decorated - kitchen, oven & microwave - decent wi-fi - comfortable bed - decent shower - central location - coffee, sugar & tea. TV a little small - should be a bottle or carton of milk instead of sachets - nowhere to store much in the shower/wc - stairs not for the faint hearted, glad I was sober.
- Dilys (9/5): Apart from the stairs it was excellent we really liked the apartment and it was very well located - It had all we needed and really good Wi-Fi The stairs are really steep and were not suitable for my husband who uses a walking stick he had to sleep in a chair this needs to be highlighted for people before they book
- Elaine (8/5): Very good - Beautiful and comfortable. Excellent facilities.
- Michaela (8/5): Ideal for the purposes of our trip. Lovely apartment. Steep stairs to bedroom might need to be a consideration if anybod - Great location. Very clean. Had everything you need. It works be helpful to have a mirror upstairs in the mezzanine bedroom and a shelf between sink/mirror in the bathroom. Also som shelves in the shower as nowhere to put toiletries.
- Kieran (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable stay. - Location. Cleanliness. Layout. Quirkiness. Amenities. Nothing. Loved it all.
- David (8/5): very enjoyable. Thanks again for letting us change dates of stay due to illness. - location excellent on booking.com no8 is advertised as having private parking - it hasn't.
- Ella (8/5): Very good -
- Hoover (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (7/5): Clean comfortable apartment in convenient location for a one or two night stay - Central location within walking distance of old town and cathedral. It was very warm and the window was high up so it wasn’t possible to open it.
- Orako (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jen (9/5): Superb -
- Clive (8/5): Comfortable good amenities. - Very good information and simple no hassle entry. Neighbouring apartment slamming doors at silly O’clock. A bit of consideration from the neighbours.
- Jamelah (10/5): Exceptional - I love this apartment it clean tidy and very cosy I love it
- Jamelah (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place loved it
