- Stephanie (7/5): Great location in Vernazza - The location right in the heart of Vernazza was excellent! The apartment had a well equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Great air con which helped keep the place cool. WiFi worked really well. Staff were friendly and quick to reply. The apartment was a bit rundown and could do with some repairs and maintenance and a bit more cleaning. The shower door was broken and didn't shut properly and the shower head was also broken. The dishwasher smelt really bad when we opened it. The bed also wasn't very comfortable and the apartment was on the more expensive side (although location made up for this).

- Aisling (10/5): Great apartment in an excellent location - This is a lovely apartment in an excellent location. Right on the main square but very quiet. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Only 2 minutes to the train station and very close to the beach.
- Jennifer (8/5): It was the breakaway I needed, and I had the very best time. I was so sad to leave - The location was fantastic and so close to the main square. The stairs to the apartment were a challenge but were worth it once there. Wi-Fi was great and reliable. Was very sad to leave what was a little hidden sanctuary. Ironing facilities would have assisted.
- Maria (10/5): Best possible location in town - Best location in the laguna and near all the restaurants. Clean and comfy Stip stairs, but it this town it's a given. So just be ready wherever you book:)
- Charles (8/5): Great value - Great location. Very clean. Great communication. Stairs were difficult to navigate.
- Rob (9/5): Well maintained apartment. Great communication. - Great location. Very steep stairs! We fortunately travel with backpacks so getting at the stairs, wasn’t an issue. I can’t imagine anyone with luggage trying to get it to the apartment.
- Patty (8/5): Very good - Clean. Good location. Expensive
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Excellent location right near the ocean once we found the premises. The girl was very helpful providing pictures of front door and directions when we needed help. Nice spacious unit, clean and right at the sea. A beautiful holiday location. The lounge room sofa was not very functional as the cushion seat kept skidding off when 2 people tried to sit on it. A bit too narrow for two average size people trying to watch TV. A fair bit of juggling appliances to get a powerpoint in the kitchen but that was basically manageable.
- Avishag (9/5): Superb -
- Leila (5/5): Apartment ok, service not so much - Well equipped kitchen, nice bedroom Wifi and TV didn’t work, staff was not responsive for 3 days until booking.com intervened.
No personal check in, no person at all for problems.
Living room is not comfortable, bad bright lights only.
- Sharon (8/5): Excellent location. Magical destination - Location . Size of apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. Shower. Comfortable bedroom. Air conditioning. Wifi not working entire duration of stay
- Saathvika (9/5): Superb -
- Chen (8/5): Every thing is very good except of but internet access - Internet access
- Manik (9/5): Superb - Excellent location on Vernazza piazza. Clean apt with all amenities.
- Lauren (1/5): Bad - Pros: Location, air conditioning, laundry facilities. Cons: lock box doesn’t work properly, bathroom is ridiculously tiny, toilet is temperamental, shower door doesn’t close properly, all the drawers are full of extra linen/towels so no storage space available to guests. I left an item of clothing behind and the staff were extremely unhelpful in chasing this up even though I offered to come back and personally collect the item.
- Virginia (10/5): Nice apartment in the heart of Vernazza, very close to the train station and the ferries. Has stairs and no elevator: no - Perfect location in the heart of Vernazza yet quiet. Had an small problem with the electric at night but, after talking with the adm, we were able to solve it. They should do something about it.
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional - The place was really cute and clean. Recommend 100%
- Courtsaus (10/5): A hidden gem 💎 - Extremely convenient location, located in the heart of Vernazza (only a few minutes walk to the train, harbour or shops).
The pictures accurately described the place.
The kitchen had literally everything you need to make a coffee, meal or a picnic (even had glad wrap and sandwich bags). We made food and drinks a few times and took it down to the harbour to watch the sunset! Perfect.
WiFi was good! Netflix and other channels available on the TV. Airconditioning worked really well too.
Communication with the host was easy and they were very accommodating! All in all a great stay 😁
We would love to come back soon! This is not a negative - but just a warning to tall, wide or less mobile people. It's 3 flights up (steep small steps) to get to the apartment. The stairs up to the bedroom are narrow and you need to duck as you enter / exit the kitchen. The bathroom dimensions are also tight to enter / exit. But we figured all this from the photos!
- Peter (7/5): Challenging. - It was centrally located in the village of Vernazza and thus handy for the harbour, beach and shops and restaurants. At the top of two flights of steep steps which are exhausting with heavy suitcases. The living space is cramped and dominated by a huge TV screen which is unnecessary for us on holiday in a foreign country. The bedroom is up a further flight of steep stairs but the bathroom is on the same floor as the living space.
- Andrew (9/5): Fantastic place in the town square ... live like a local - It's a fantastic location. The door to the stairs is at the start of the piazza / town square. Vernazza is a beautiful place.
The good - everything you need in the unit. It's awesome value for where it is. Live like a local :) Everything is there that you need if you want to cook or whatever. There was oil, balsamic, salt and pepper and a bunch of other things. The coffee for the drip filter machine was full; thank you. There were only 2 pods for the Lavazza pod machine which we couldn't find in town anywhere. The town is very small. Arriving with your bags at the train station and walking down the hill is no issue. It's only 100-150m long. Restaurants everywhere. Food was fantastic. Lots of seafood. Prices vary a little, but mostly reasonable. Overall, awesome location, beautiful place, easy to get to other places, etc. It's at the back of the building, so very quiet except the TVs blaring which was fine. The hosts are pros; have multiple properties and lots of automation on your check-in etc. Available as needed and definitely very professional. Water reheats if you use it all and has a gauge on it ... very efficient. Not the hosts fault ... but Cinque Terra is extremely busy. Wouldn't go back probably for this reason. It wasn't even peak season and it was just crazy some days. Ferries arrive from La Spezia and other towns. The supermarket has a sign that says no more than 8 people at a time ... it's got finite capacity and it's getting killed. According to the locals, the oceans almost completely returned to previous levels of fish etc in just 2 years (during COVID). Some love the tourism, some don't. Every town in the Cinque Terra has its own dialect and food specialties. They feel like they've been homogenised ... so spent some time feeling like part of the problem. The people were gracious and friendly, but the capacity of this area is very low and it's subject to an unlimited stream of people from full trains and ferries. Early in the morning (and late at night), it's just beautiful ...
Stairs ... be warned. Lots of them and very steep. A 'typical Ligurian staircase' would be illegal in most other countries. They are beautiful but often extremely steep due to the terrain they have been built into and tradition. Getting to the unit with a large suitcase requires some strength and stamina. Everything except the bedroom is on the first level. The staircase down from the the bedroom in the middle of the night requires your 'A game'. No rail on one side, made of marble and very steep. Some stairs are so steep you can lean out and touch the stairs in front of you without much effort. All this said, the lady in the unit across from this one looked to be around 80, stooped over with a walking cane, and her front door actually just had stairs behind it to the next level. So maybe we just need a teaspoon of cement ...
No controller for the heater / a/c in the bedroom ... not sure if this was intentional but it wasn't there.
